I love the irony of a dude who camps out on somebody else's property and begs people for change complaining about the music being annoying and obnoxious.
Yup. Ever heard the phrase, Beggars can't be choosers? Case in point...
Drug addicts are like rats. You can't get rid of them nicely. What he's doing is a lot better than what I've seen other shop owners do
*are rats
Yeah spray them with human p1$$ in large quantities
Austin is the a**hole of Texas.
What a disgustingly cruel and compassionless statement. You ought to be ashamed. Have you considered that those people might be ill and may need help?
@@RadagonTheRedI really don't care. Seek help if you can't contribute to society. That's why the US is the way it is. Mfs like you always wanna have empathy for bums.
I worked for 711 for approximately 17 years on and off at multiple locations and we had one in Gilroy California where they would pray opera music to keep the gang members from hanging out out front nobody wants to stick around opera music it’s a great deterrent
How were you able to identify them as gang members?
That’s what a gay 7 eleven owner would do ? Oprah !!? 😂😂😂
I don’t think homeless people care about classical music. As im parked at a mcdonalds right now theres a homeless in the front. Mcdonalds copied the media and 7/11 people just be sayin words in life that make no sense
@@Clarence_13x Probably the same way that gangs members identify each other. Come on.
@@betsyj59 spoken like someone who has never lived in areas where that can be a problem. Sounds like you believe something adjacent to the truth. Explain how gang members can identify other gang members.
I guy in NYC did this a couple of decades ago at his store, only he played Barry Manilow on a loop. The drug dealers disappeared.
How about "Loving You" by Minnie Ripperton?
I did this to my neighbors who liked to loud talk on the lanai.
For the guy with a hoodie; the best solution is to talk to them. Lol, does he has any idea how homeless people can be aggressive and not listen and continue to do it again? Talking to them will just make it worse
He's high himself 🤣🤣😂
That dude is one of the homeless lmao
He himself said just talk to them knowing the 7/11 doesn't want them there so what does he do? Goes and lives next to the 7/11 across town LMAO
It's Texas he probably have guns
Panhandlers
Not the hero we wanted, but the hero we needed.
Whatever it takes for the businesses to stay in business and hopefully keep customers safer.
It's amazing that so many people agree that playing opera music out loud is getting really extreme. What a horror!
My biggest takeaway is: "Studies have shown that classical music is annoying"
Beautiful music scares blacks and other low IQs
Only to stupid people...
But is stimulating for child development 🤔
I think you have to listen to the bangers for classical music. Opera is kinda annoying tho.
I've read that listening to classical music can improve your cognitive abilities, focus & learning
This video is like showing off you're nice indoor rat poison, then interviewing a rat to get his perspective 😂
I saw a guy do this at a Corpus convenience store. It was working
I seen it 😂
The spoof version is hilarious and says what he probably wants to say 😂
I would imagine a crystal meth tweaker would go bat s**t crazy listening to opera music for hours.
Lol there was a club/bar in Sioux City Iowa that kept having gang violence, shootings, etc. So the owner changed it to a country bar theme, only played country music from then on. No more thugs showed up. Violence gone. Kinda hilarious
I know the owner and he has tried the "talking" to the unhoused. That didn't work.
What is unhoused?
They don't want housing. They like living on the street
You'recalling homelesspeople "Unhoused?" And sewer workers are subterranean laborers.
“It’s obnoxious, it’s disturbing” lmfao
1:12 That's a great way to get punched in the face.
Finally. Somebody said it. Great response👍 U r a true patriot🤣😭🤣!!! Was that sarcastic enuff?!
Buddy, if they’re not moving because of the music, they’re not going to move if somebody asks them nicely. 😂
Good. Classical music for all.
Talk ? To whom? Keep playing it 🎶🎼
LOVE it! Great idea!👍👍
They do this in Los Angeles. I thought it was so gang members could feel like they’re in a Martin Scorsese film while they commit misdeeds in the parking lot. I love it.
If I owned that store the first thing I'd do is find out where city council members live and turn that into a homeless encampment, I'd hand out free food, toilet paper, crack pipes, tents, and free clothes every week 🤣
😈 delightfully mischievous
He needs to get The brown note (also called the brown noise) is a sound frequency that supposedly makes you lose control of your bowels and poop instantly.
Noooo!!!!! please! Do You imagine that???
And how does that help his customers?
bro that's not Taco Bell
Turn that shiii up !!!!
I think that's cool. At my 7-11 there's always men hanging out and it scares me. I try to ignore them, but, I can't take it no more. I feel gross. So, I don't go there anymore. I go to the farther 7-11 where no one's there, it's clean and no one bothers me.
Brilliant!
Im homeless i love this music
I just watched a tik tok of this exact video except they heavily edited it and blurred out the owner of the 711s face and dubbed over making him curse which while funny it’s important to always try and find the original source like i did here.
That's exactly why I'm here 😂
That’s why I’m here too 😂😂
lol the homeless don't appreciate the art anymore
Some 7 elevens in downtown areas play classical violin music and always wondered why
I went to 7-11 this morning, it was relaxing
Opera slaps.
Classical music ain’t noise pollution L O L
It is for whomever is deterred!
Exactly 💯
Tacoma article today says it’s to deter theft. Makes no sense! 😂 Thx for clearing up the confusion & not lying! Noticed in Tac article they won’t say homeless, but mention deterring “unwanted activity.”
my seven eleven in California used to do this but they closed down recently
If talk isn’t helping, and they’re driving off business, or making the neighborhood unsafe, I say this is a lovely and peaceful solution.
1:11 to 1:34, sounds like it’s working just fine.
homeless person: *goes into 7-evelen* please play Tchaikovsky - Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Op. 74 'Pathétique', II. Allegro con grazia
I’ve seen this here in Chicago 🤣
The 7-11 where I live uses the exact same opera songs. And I can tell you it does not work. There's still homeless people that hang outside that 7-11 all the time. I go to buy beers there around 3 AM sometimes and there's still homeless just chillin.
The homeless guy said the music isn’t good, and it’s annoying. Well…… it works!
Love the music, love it even more that it drove the homeless away. Got to pass on this great idea!
I also need one of those for my house.
Got a guy living between the fences next to my back yard and cops ain't doing shii
brilliant
That wouldn't bother me a bit as i like classical but to be across the street to hear it 24/7, no. I don't blame them for getting sick of it.
Good
Based!
LOL this idea came from south park!!! Cartman dealing with hippies.
South Park is love South Park is life!
I like the uncensored version. Nobody can blame him if he gets out the hose either. His city council has failed him and the other business owners.
it sure has and very purposefully so.
lol soon you gonna see the guy setup the 5 gallon buckets and start drumming to the music.
Great Idea!
Las Vegas blvd and Charleston has it too.
I love opera 😁
😂😂😂😂😂that’s great
1:56 Heeeeyyyy, I wanted to hear that "competing music" part. Dammit.
Wise
Slayer’s Raining Blood works very well too. Also drives off Hippies.
Jokes on you I love classic music 😅
Even drug addicts need a place to hang out, but please please please don't make it the front of a 7-11. I fully support motions like this and frankly everyone could use a little classical music in their life...
Your yard would be a great place.
They need to hangout under the bridge
Should’ve went with Yoko Ono just to make sure.
🤣
Great idea. Perhaps also put a moat made of metal pegs or nobs 6 feet out all around building.
I cant beleive this works. All I know is that they would become more violent and yell turn it off....
A 7 11 in Salt Lake on west north temple does that. It causes many problems for the residents of a new apartment building directly next door, including lack of sleep, and the music doesn’t deter any of the homeless people there.
I call bs. They hate this music.
It works in Colorado Springs.
Was just reading about 7/11s and gas stations doing this all over the country and, in every single case, it was reported as working (LA 7/11s doing this even two years ago). Hey, city governments and police departments will do nothing about the problem (which isn't going away and will only get worse as the the US economy collapses and city governments see the upside of encouraging societal breakdown). Nice to know that these days opera music can take care of things.
Hmm. Maybe Salt Lake City has a special highbrow strain of homeless people. When people walk by, do they ask them for Gray Poupon?
Play this song called ( el sonidito by banda hechizeros) I guarantee they will be out in a day. I promise 😂😂
Austin is turning red
I didn't now that opera music was Republican. Is it Republican because it's not corporate?
Wow it was a voice over I saw.. wish it was real but that was hilarious.. had to come to CZcams to find the original video
Bwhaaaaaaa bwhaaaaaaa bwhaaaaaaa bwhaaaaaaa
Keep Austin weird, right? (How blue cities enable this kind of rhetoric of homelessness and drugs). Very sad for the owner, a good business worker.
@VHKgameDev lol. You would say that, as you probably don’t own business or have a family of your own so you’re still in that “PC” state of life between starting college and starting adult life.
@VHKgameDev haha. You can have Portland and all it’s beauty and Austin and it’s world class citizens. I’ll keep my lawn green and my guns locked and loaded 🇺🇸❤️🦅
As a Chicagoan who hates this goofy shit, I couldn't agree more with the idea. It is great to see businesses scare intruders (when they're spotted, not 24/7). It's also great to see this make a comeback. If it worked at the most famous prisons (and detectives), it will work worldwide.
1:20 seethe and cope
Sounds more inviting to me. 😂
Austin’s going to be the Opera Music Capital next 😬
Homelessness is a problem at many 7 11 all over the country!!!
play infrasound aim it at the area they b chillin at . no more loud opera 😂
Y’all need to see the remix of this it is beyond hilarious!
What do I search on CZcams to find it?
@@poundtown9704 7-11 owner uses classical music to deter homeless #funny
Lmfao yoooo
Competing music??? Heck, maybe other people don’t want the bums on their side of the street either 😂😂😂
0:37
The carpenters might work too
Lmao, That would probably drive off your customer base too
Bruh called classical music "disturbing"
Both hilarious and insane.
He knows opera music does not suit their taste
That's opera 💀
So, Austin is becoming the San Francisco of Texas?
If they really want it to work they should just play Justin Beeber.
Ask them not to hang around? Everyone tries that and they don't leave
They hang around for cash handouts. Free food and shelter is available elsewhere but their choice is the streets for various reasons.😞
Keep them away with Crimson Thorn, Horde, and Deuteronomium.
Of course the homeless guy doesnt like the idea. Haha.
Lol, talk to them and not to hang around… they never listen!
ROFL !!!!!
Its a proven fact that music sets the atmosphere for stores and restaurants. Perhaps the people feel underdressed. Or maybe they have been patients of the Ludivigo treatment. We are living in a dystopia.
not shepards tone?
I would do better than that. Just to make sure that the bugs wouldn't even dare to get close, I would blast a raw, old school Black Metal into the speakers.
What a based Chad
lol just ask them to leave.
Lol😂😂😂 Opera music keep em away like zombies.
Yes asking a bunch of drugged up bums to leave always works.
He should play the sesame street theme song
Or Barney I love you,you love me!
South Korea tried this on north korea
There is a 7-Eleven in my city that does this, it's not working at all. 🤣
