Disney elders! I am not a Disney Elder for remembering the studio tour! I also remember fastpasses (the machines), and my pal Mickey, and the millennium celebration, and- Oh wait. Oh no
The backlot tour that most people think of now is a pale imitation of what it was in the early days. There was more sets. The tram tour was longer. There was much more to it but little by little disney chipped away at it until all of it was gone.
The problem with superstar limo was they took your picture at the end & showed it to you revealing the look in your face & how bored you were every time! Before the photo; it’s an ok ride… not great but not bad After the photo: I’m never wasting my time on this ride again
Backlot Tour was absolute fire along with Great Movie Ride! And I guarantee Horizons would be more popular now than Mission Space which is basically a walk on year round. The question is, why do we always have to lose something to gain something with Disney??? Meanwhile Universal building a 3rd park
Mission space is my #1 least favorite “ride” at Disney world. For one-each time i rode it a little kid was in the driver seat so we were crashing every freaking second. Secondly-all this ride does is spin you around in a circle and it is beyond nauseating. It not only has the highest cases of people getting sick but also highest cases of heart attacks, strokes, and sudden death. Also one last thing, if someone accidentally has a penny or other object fall out of their pocket the individual “spaceship” MUST shut down. The other ones can continue on but the affected one must be cleaned.
No no, calling you out. There is no “drivers seat”. There is a pilot position, but each rider has the same amount of responsibility: push two buttons. And the system “overrides” the button push so even refusing to push the button does nothing. You cannot crash the thing, it is a single video and all the space sips go along the same route, even if you steer wrong, it doesn’t actually affect the ride. So you are just blatantly lying to try to get attention.

Don't forget to take your ibuprofen. Also, dinner is at 4:00.
Studio backlot and Ellen’s energy where some of my faves. I miss them.
I liked the backlot tour and the great movie ride. I like the replacements too. To bad they couldn’t bring them back.
What about the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground and Roger Rabbit steamroller photo Op in Hollywood Studios?
I remember the studio tour. Doesn’t seem that long ago.
HORIZONS DID NOT HAVE TO CLOSE
But mission space is my baby though I love it so much 😢
in universal studios the backstage ride is still available! :)
At hollywood yes but at orlando no.

I wish those studio tours still ran
They could still do them with 21st Century Fox Studios

And Superstar Limo used to have a different story but they had to change it due to some horrible sad news
@@frostyelwood9898 yeah they changed it because of Diana's death
@@kasity yep. Pretty sad

If anything I hope they don’t close the “tower of terror”
The one I want back is alien encounter.
Now they have alien license of the series we can have a alien queen in the Disney parks
Hi - fyi Horizons closed in 1999 according to Wikipedia. My wife and I rode it in 1997.
Horizons also closed due to a sinkhole according to what I found, but what confuses me is how is Mission: SPACE fine? Is it light enough to not sink?
Kind of wrong horizon reopened in 99 for a few years
You forgot splash Mountain
that's not really closing. they're just retheming it. the ride will be the same
