The outcome of the battle would very much depend at what time period\stage the battle took place. If it was during EP2 then the fight would be on equal terms. If it was during EP3 then Windu eventually would overtake Dooku. If you can recall on the Geonosis platform Dooku chose not to engage Windu (he didn't want to face the dangerous Jedi even at that stage). During the clone wars years Windu grew in power and by EP3 he would of been able to overtake Dooku who was 82 at the time.
I think the fact that he beat Palpatine in their duel, doesn't neccessarily mean he would demolish Dooku in 30 seconds.
They are all different, and arguably Dooku was the best duelist in the galaxy. Neither was Dooku ever truly evil, like Palpatine, which in return came in handy for Windu.
Wouldn't it be less handy as Mace then has less darkside energy to fuel off of?
@@DaBlueBountyHunter Exactly. Dooku would probably have a higher win probability than Sidious.
Not to say Vapaad would be useless against Dooku, but it would have a much harder time feeding on Dooku's darkness given the Count's rather reserved and cold fighting style, he's not really a rage monster like Palps or Maul, meaning Mace would instead have to fuel vapaad with his own inner dark side without losing control. It'd be a pretty even fight most of the way through I think given both men are masters of all seven forms and very experienced, but I think Mace would win in the end simply by virtue of their age difference. Dooku is indeed in AMAZING shape for a man his age, but Mace is still much younger with far more stamina, so he could probably play the long game and wear Dooku down over time, well unless Dooku manages to end it before that.
They're very evenly matched otherwise.
The real question is would 80 year Mace beat 80 year old Dooku? 🤔

mismatch. We officially know that Windu was the best duelist of his time and overall one of the most powerful EVER. officially, the overall duel/power is placed in the Sidious, Yoda tier. Dooku isn't there.
Officially yes, and honestly there's not much point debating either way as I could see this one going either way.
However, I feel like I explained my reasoning quite well here; that since Dooku uses a light side form and is proficient at it he could best Windu here.
mace is not dookus equal when it comes to dueling, mace is just just as powerful as dooku in the force and he has special force abilities that could get him the W but dooku wins IMO
Force Crush is especially handy.
