It seems like just a little while ago the top dog Durango was the SRT, and then the Hellcat landed. Jay wanted everyone to remember that the SRT Durango has plenty of capability, and can put the Hellcat to shame with the right parts! So I wanna get a srt Jeep 2018 with a whipple 2.9 supercharger already on it…From a dealership. If the 6.4 is not forged/ upgraded to take that power yet. How much will that cost to do so as in rings , pistons , rods , and would you recommend the crankshaft ?

This video is about beefing up necessary engine parts if you want to add something like a supercharger. You will have problems in the long run if you just add a supercharger, without adding other necessary parts. It's like making a PB&J without the jelly.

Do you mod LS motors? A have a 2014!chevy ss comes stock 415 crank HP 415 Torque. Want to be at 650 whp at least
Yes, we have built more SS sedans than every other shop combined. We have 3 in the shop currently, and 3 Pontiac G8s as well. So the commodore platform, whether VE or VF is something we're very familiar with.
I'm am definitely looking to have this done but I am being told to get an 5.7 RT instead. I actually want the 6.4 SRT but as someone who is on the other side of things, which one will give me better results given the same mods?
Since both need to be upgraded to handle this kind of power, we recommend the 6.4 as it's a better starting point.

We did upgrade the transmission and transfer case for this.

@@LivernoisMotorsports I would be excited for that proposition :) If I had your Livernois Tuning and Upgrades, you could demonstrate what your product does with my car. Pulls on the dyno, pulls on the road, drag passes.. etc. Gen 3 Coyote PP1 with 26k miles!

It’s generally 470 hp for the srt so I’m not sure where he got 380 hp
Because 470 at the crankshaft (manufacturer advertised) is around 380 at the tire, which is what a chassis dyno measures.

So about 8,ooo grand and I have my 392 Durango as fast a Durango hellcat
Am I the only one that heard Him say that stock was 380!?! A SRT is not 380 stock!!!! A SRT is more like 470 stock, a RT is 360 stock. So in my opinion, the numbers do not add up.

@@jerryhargett9598 The horsepower created at the crank by the engine is Regular horsepower, that’s before you hook the engine up to anything at all, after you do there’s about a 25ish% loss of power when it goes through the transmission and the drivetrain all the way to the wheels. This is where you get BHP, the actual horsepower being produced at the tires of the car, the 475hp mark your referencing is the HP of the 392 Hemi, however once it reaches the wheels it’s more like 380hp like he says in the video and shows on the graphs 🤙

Where are the engine assembly videos? Where are the in car street rides after assembly ? Not enough promoting of your shop compared to the other shops.
As this was done in phases, rather than all at once, there was not a master plan behind promoting it. the results just impressed us, so we did a result video.
That's all well and good except the SRT only has an HP70 Trans!
