Great movie. Excellent sci-fi, body horror stuff going on. Action was swift, brutal, inventive. Although I'm glad I didn't see the trailer first. It gave away some of the best moments, and revealed its so-so humor.
Now this has my attention! I stopped going to the movies but this is a must see. Count me in
My hope for going to the movies and walking out feeling like I haven't wasted my money has long gone but I may go watch this, as long as it doesn't have him pulling on some alien cow jugs and then drinking the lactating discharge I think ill be safe.
tony I saw the movie in theater and it was very very cool. Please see it if you get the chance. Very original and entertaining. It starts small and simple but it by design and before you know it it goes wild. Absolutely s Must See!

Looks good, actor seems to have nailed the Robotic movements + Bewildered face expression combo. Voice of Stem is quite funny too

Critics talking like it's a good B-Grade Sci fi and People who haven't watched it making lame jokes... I just saw it and PHUKING LUVED it from A-Z, I THINK IT's AWESOME!!! but thank goodness I didn't see the Trailer first, It gives away too much, this is why I always watch trailers after the film.
I like being surprised. Everything you see here was a surprise to me so I spent a lot of time on the edge of my seat, and had a few "Wow" moments.
What's my point again... yea... I personally Love it and will watch it several more times ; and
I enjoy movies more these days when I read the sorta 2-3 line summary, Ignore any critics or online reviews, ignore all trailers allll until just after the movie... you'll experience some rubish, but all-in-all you just might rediscover something you lost watching movies years ago... that's just my 2Naira

Ryan Hall I like him better than Tom..Tom is overrated and i use to like Tom, but his winny 'fake' New Yorker accent, that he has now used one too many times, is annoying and hard to understand.
Ryan Hall I hate to tell you this but he's better than Tom Hardy as an thespian... He was awesome in invitation. I saw him in another movie and now in upgrade. I mean I'm going to certainly pull for the American actor over the (Tom Hardy)anal British actor he must have got his teeth fixed but I'm sure he still has breath. I kind of compared Tom Hardy to Jake Gyllenhaal they're both weird as s***, but still certainly good actors in their own right.... Logan marshall-green is not a weirdo.Marshall-Green is a natural .I think acting comes very easily to him and the few movies I've seen him an I mean he doesn't have a discography like Tom Hardy, marshall-green has a knife Eb &flow to his acting it seems like he would be a joy to work with. Now, Tom Hardy on the other hand seems like he might be kind of tough to work with and I've heard that. marshall-green done a damn good job and he's only going to get bigger parts.
Tom Hardy's movies are not as good as they're cracked up to be.as U know he's an a-lister and he's hit the big time , what is repertoire it's not not set well on my palate I just think he's kind of weird, talking about Tom. His choice of roles and could have been better. But maybe marshall-green won't follow the same path and he'll do nothing but good movies because he is an excellent actor in all the movies I've seen him, not that many . He has found roles that have always suited him very well in his character or a role is found him and he gets set up where the chance to shine which is what he has done for the most part as an actor. And nothing's different about upgrade it looks killer

Today I watched the film again after a long time and I have to say, I love this film and hope for an upgrade 2.0! You can't even tell from the film that it had a budget of around 5 million, please give us an upgrade! Logan Marshall-Green looks damned alike to Tom Hardy, could be brothers. 😃

Just finish watching this movie and i must say it was great. i enjoyed it more than black panther giving this my second favorite move of the year so far and I'm surprised it had such a low budget considering how nice it looks. The acting was fantastic the humor was on point the casting and directing was awesome. My mind was blown. I really do hope a sequel gets made. If you haven't seen this yet do yourself a favor and watch it;-)

Probably but, trailers cut parts out, so it might've been better to do that to stop the person if there wasn't time to immediately kill.
It was a clumbsy kill because Grey didn't know what was going on and was resisting. He told STEMM to "stop him" just before he nearly cut his head off. I think tje scene was meant to contrast Grey's humanity and STEMM as a emotionless AI. It also paints a picture of what it is or will be like in the future..

This. Plus it does come up later with a couple of other "follow up" people shall we say so it is kinda central to the theme of the movie, eg the Emotional Human element which has capacity of empathy and mercy and the calculating AI basically. Won't go into more
