    Think you did a fair and honest assessment. As you said. Nothing is perfect.

    Definitely a full car wrap always comes with imperfections no matter how genius the wrapper is

    I’ve always wondered how it works with insurance like do they have to know you changed the color and do they charge you more ?

    I would think another negative...
    Unlike a TOP CLEAR COAT you can't BUFF out scratches - seems any blemishes would require major repair.

    The imperfections/peeling are because it's a shitty wrap job. They should have removed the bumper fascia to wrap it. There's no excuse for the roof peeling. Take it back and have them do it again under warranty.
    If you're paying thousands of dollars for a full wrap, you have every right to expect (and demand) perfection.

      what if they get annoyed if you tell them it keeps peeling in a short time

      @koalaluv6894 the mistake with the roof is your supposed to remove the antenna on the roof. obviously easier said than done I would imagine you would have to pull the headliner but yeah if you watch like premium they remove the antenna and either wrap it separate or leave it matte black. But yeah the main problem is its like a pimple filled with air and once heat is applied "the sun" the material will start coming up it's like a bulge lol 🤣

      Some just don’t care and avoid responsibility at all costs so you just need to take the L. If they redo it they’re redo it worse and you risk them damaging paint too

    auto ego, i had my full wrapped close to a year. i will say mine has the same issues but a a little worse and they did fix it but still their are mistakes like under the headlight and bumpers. ive had it in snow, rain, a little mud. i feel like you should let them know its lifting but thell just cut and patch it and probably peel again.. idk it shouldnt peel if its done correctly..

    Wrapping is fine just stored inside and if you don't, keep it stored under a cover outside and not in the direct sun just like leaving a plastic bag in the Sun how it oxidizes and gets damaged from UV rays it will damage the wrap

    I like the look of a wrapped car. However, does vinyl wrap handle car washes, like to know the best way to wash a car that has been wrapped...? Thank you

    • @Mach1Chriss
      @Mach1Chriss Před rokem

      its pretty similar to paint obviously with satin there is special kinds of soaps that they make for satin finishes. there is one thing you shouldn't do on any wrap and thats to use any kind of wax it will ruin the finish. A great alternative is a ceramic coating and between washes a booster for the coating sprayed on the wrap. Like 3ds bead it up.

    Get a heat gun, don't get to close get a small Squeegee and gently push those folds in and smooth it out. You have to be picky about what kind of material you're using as well.

    I recently bought a 2015 challenger and didn’t realize it was wrapped when I bought it! So I’m just learning about this stuff. How hard is it to maintain? The dealer didn’t tell me it was a wrap at all and they have no clue about it

    Ceramic coating the car is better and saves your cars paint, rim and windshields

    Don't worry man on every car if you look close enough you will find at least one imperfection or more there's no such thing as a completely perfect car.

    No matter what you do to these cars mustang will always be ugly

  • @luckychucky3426
    @luckychucky3426 Před 2 lety

    At the risk of being critical first of all I think your car is ugly and nothing in this world is perfect once you get over that I buy new cars I look at them but never perfect and then I take my foot and I kick it in some place just so when I do have a stone or something hit the car I don't go crazy but that's just me I've seen other videos where the guy had his car wrapped in Black it was terribly ugly and I seen another guy when you turn the car on it made a loud noise he thought that was cool I'm sorry to be critical but it just drives me up a wall when I see guys like you you want perfection how you're never going to get perfection although there's nothing wrong with trying to get it
