Thank you very much with this detailed process!
Nice job. Thank you for showing us how to do it right...
Thanks 4 you time! I have to do a rear brake job on a 2019 Tucson later today and your video showed me all I need to know to do the job. I too have a Thinktool Pro, so thanks for showing that as well. Thanks again, thumbs up!

Thank you for sharing of your great job. Could you let me know the torque values for 17 mm and 14 mm bolts.
14 mm = 23 ft.lb, 17mm = 72 ft.lb
Do both left and right calipers retract the piston with the same clockwise direction? I noticed that some of those brake caliper tools have only a regular thread bolt and others have left and right threaded pieces...
Yes, both calipers turn right piston goes in.
Thank you! @@hyundaitech
Have u done a 22 hyundai tucson se back brakes..is this video similar process for the 22
Yes most of the parking brake in the caliper almost the same repair process.
hello good day i have 2015 hyundai tucson rear brake problem no oil coming out in the bleeder screw only front have brake pressure
Possible corrosion builup on the bleeder screw, try removing the flexible hose from the caliper if theres fluid coming out most likely you need new caliper, if no fluid you have to work your way up going to the abs module if theres restriction. Hope that helps
Do you have to rotate the piston to get it to go back in or is simply pushing it in fine?
Once the epb service mode is done, you have have to push the piston.
What scanner works on a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe? I tried an Innova 5512 and it’s not capable.
Thanks for the reply!
@@zaclapierre8049 check some scantool that offers bidirectional controls, like topdon, thinktool, autel.
So I did my wives rear brakes by just pushing the piston back because I didnt know about needing a scan tool for electric parking brakes but what I did was disengage the parking brake and then removed the old pads and spun the piston just up until the new pads were able to fit in. What could have gone wrong when doing that just so I know what I could have encountered.
Worsr case scenario you will have malfunction in e brake system, but if it works normally you should be okay.
@@hyundaitech awesome thank you, I havent had problems and its been over 5 months since I changed em
If you open bleeder to push piston in, you won’t know if the brake hose is collapsed or not 🤔
Well if im thinking right if theres a collapse hose there will be uneven pad wear between right and left side. And with this type of process it will be more helpful in my opinion with higher kilometers car atleast the old brake fluid instead of going back to the line it will just come out to the bleeder screw.
Can u tell me What model of Thinktool?
I got the thinktool pro model.
There’s different thinktool which one is
Is there a think tool that is cheaper I could get to still do this service not trying to spend 1k 😅
There should be scantool with range 500 to 600 can do epb service.
@@hyundaitech is there anything cheaper I can buy that would work I just don’t want to spend that much if I can get away with less ?
@@crg1094 you can contact the seller if some chepaer models has that capabilty.
@@hyundaitech thank you
