you have to push the grey stuff on the side of the air filter for firmly insert it, this way it sucks up air not filtered

At least use the dealer filter. It’s 100% better built and better quality than that crap fram filter and only cost $10

There was a thin coat of oil on the engine side

Yes, 4 litres is a good amount to start, then check the dip stick.

Gave it a gallon and then added till full. I think that's a 5 quart container
