BASIC SET-UP: MAMMOPLASTY REDUCTION
Please keep in mind that not all basic set ups are identical with other scrub techs. This is just how I do it and knowing the basics can help you build your set ups one day. Also, don't forget that it varies by surgeons too but it all boils down to being the same or little changes here and there. For example, with this set up, they didn't need the army navy and I added a couple allis in there and that's about it.
How do I figure out what I need? It all comes down to what the case is about and the anatomy. If you know these 2 parts, you're already 70% knowledgeable and set up accordingly based on what you know about these instruments.
With this case, he did a maneuver that I've never seen and I took notes on it. It was clever actually so I won't forget about it 😌
