I made this after I finished recording "Sora to Kimi no Message".

I realized why he gives out his sheets/midi when other people won't. It's because he knows no one else will be able to play it.
that or maybe one day an aspiring pianist may attempt to become better and may want to learn how to... eventually, i personally am glad he does be it ill probly never going to be able to play them, atleast for a long time

what I love about this version of World End....
it gives you that very same feel when watching Code Geass R2 and hearing the new opening for the first time... the weekly anticipation for the new episode and the glory of the 2nd intro... it all comes back to me... T_T
Every time I finish an anime I always check animenz's channel just to see if he done one of the soundtracks XD
I do the opposite! When I find an Op I like that Animenz played, I watch the anime! Or I at lest check it out

It's not improvisation in the sense that he did it on the fly for the first time - which is what you're implying with the 'hand searching' - something of this complexity cannot be created and executed so well out of the blue -.-
Not first time for sure, there's probably a 10gb folder of failed improvisations in his computer.

beatiful. i like the way animenz changed up the actual song a bit. it sounds right.
I have soft spots for the covers around this time. I like them even better than the newer, more polished ones, and that's why I keep coming back to them even though it's a long time ago. Perhaps that's because I started following the covers eight, nine years ago, when my non-anime fan older brother showed me how impressed he was with this piano guy's Only My Railgun cover. We never really touched upon anime --- we had recorded and watched FMA brotherhood when it was still airing and on TV, Pokemon, and the series you'd find on TV as a kid --- ZOIDS, Crush Gear Turbo, Digimon, Beyblade, Duel Masters, and the like --- but they were always 'cartoons'. Anime was not a word we associated with in our primary school days. Then --- out of nowhere, my brother showed me this cover, and I was like --- interesting. If a series had such brilliant songs, surely it must also be awesome. Thus began my anime journey. My first anime (that I knew was anime) was A Certain Scientific Railgun, my second was Tokyo Ghoul, which had just finished airing as I binged it. I was hooked. Since then, I watched everything I could find, and while many made me turn to the dark (degenerate) side, a lot also taught me valuable life lessons, which I sorely needed due to my lack of self-esteem and erosive nihilism.
Anyway, I was suddenly reminded that I would one day die, and the thought that my mortality could be far closer than I realised scared me almost to death. I was well and suddenly the next day I had an extremely sore throat, and that night I had really bad headache spasms, and could barely say a word. I came home with a medium fever (I think?), and though the RATs come out negative, and I do assume I'm going to recover once I do, it's quite a terrifying thought. And for some reason I wanted to hear Animenz's Code Geass World End.

Grace Min You need lots of practice, but eventually, it comes as easy as writing a long sentence. But at the same time, its like trying to memorize Kanji, you have to keep practicing to remember it, otherwise it will all vanish faster than you think.

Since i discovered CG, back in 2011, i gave been infatuated with everything from it. I've seem multiple covers,piano versions and by far this one triumphs over all of them. Amazing that all this was improvised. It's so beautiful I could cry.

He was probably geassed or something.
Improvisations aren't always completely on the spot, you can work on them beforehand. There's no way he could've memorized the entire song and gotten so many notes and chords right without going through it beforehand.
