That shit was epic!!! She cooked sand into glass & then uses it as processor blades in a whirlwind. Amazing!!!
Seeing Storm use her powers was amazing. Destroying sentinels with glass created by melted sand inside of a tornado was next level power usage. Hearing her referred to as Omega level was also a moment. 😢
I am a child of the 90s I grew up with the X-Men cartoon as disabled kid I identify with a lot of them because I felt like I stuck out. I love this and I am never hitting on the intro
I think it’s a safe bet that Fiege will make damn sure that they have an orchestral version of that iconic X-men theme in the inevitable X-men movie just for the sheer fact that he has included in two MCU projects already and you can already feel Fiege’s enthusiasm or anticipation for wanting to play with the X-men and mutants in the MCU
So dope to wake up to an episode of Geek Buddies. Thanks team
I didn’t watch the 90s cartoon, but I read X-Men comics in the 70s and 80s and had no trouble with the characters or story. It was fun!
You should go back and watch the 90s show. It's great and still holds up. It's right up there with the batman animated series
I think Alien: Romulus looks especially promising.

Yoooooo Kings!!! Xmen 97 is FUEGO!! I can see why they put it in the theaters in LA. Its movie quality animation an that music throughout the show, not to mention the new Xmen theme. Fuckin fantastic first episodes!!!
I will say this, I love Magneto as a character and I get his motivations and that speech he gave was GREAT, but why does no one point out that him wanting to wipe out all humas is BAD. I mean that is a form of genocide isn't it... Like why does THAT PART seem to fly over peoples heads?

Let me tell you, as a NOLA native...the first thing I said was..."where da sugah" on those Beignets? SMH...LOL. Otherwise, what a great set of episodes. Can't wait for the next one.

I wonder if everyone is going to die in Alien Romulus b/c, if we watch Aliens, the people involved don't even seem to be aware of any extra terrestrial life. Not just on LV426, but just in general so... for that bit of continuity to maintain itself (which, we all know the importance of continuity come and go depending on the whims of studios and execs), it only makes sense if no one survives the encounter for word to get out.

MY God X-MEN 97 is pure joy and a great mix of nostalgia while being smart and funny but without being too funny just like the Original Show that We all Grew up on in the 90’s Show as Kids . It got me all in my feels in the right ways . I see these guys and girls and everyone in between complaining about the small things that they’ve changed in the shows animation like it’s new look and the one that annoys me about them so much is the tiny redesign of Rouge’s Body I mean have we learnt nothing from desexualizing womens body’s it’s 2024 not the 90s people.
