Absolutely brilliant. I’m going to call it The Blue and The Wild Blue as you have taught it to me! ❤
Haha nice! I like it 👍
What a great teacher !! How he explains things and demonstrates makes learning so much more interesting and reinforces the material! 🌟
Thank you! Lots more on the channel 😀
Thanks Blue...nice one!
Thanks for your support RB!
As always, a great lesson. Already bought your books but since you're such a nice person I prefer watching your videos ❤😊
Greets from Germany
Thank you! 😃 let me know if you have any questions about the books. I'm working on Book 2 of the Soloing book now.
I've not come across this before. For me this is next-level. Love it! 😎
Awesome! Ya it's a great sound to have in your solos! And it's in lots of songs!
Excellent, very insightful lesson!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks!
Buenaa Blue!!!!! Sos un excelente teacher!!Another great class!!! Thanks!!
Thanks again José!
Ugg awesome!! I want to play like this! I’ll need to watch and absorb this one several times.. thank you!
Thank you!!
Great lesson Blue...thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching 🎸
Great lesson
Thank you Scooby Doo!
Superb!
Thanks!!!
Hey Blue, great lesson! I kind of have two names for these bends. When sounding the notes separately, I think of "fake pedal steel." When two notes are sounding together (especially when one note is being bent and the other stays put), I call it the freight train.
Nice! Those are great names. I like "freight train"!
So many cool sounds just from the pentatonics! You make it look so effortless. Great video, thanks. If I was asked to name the technique I might have said 'Double stop bend' or 'Chuck Berry double note and bend thing'.
Double stop bend is a great name 👍
Very cool lesson Blue! I love the sound we get with this bends and touch ;-)
Thank you Rafa!!!
I've seen this in videos before, but never explained and shown the variations. Thanks so much for this bit of guitar knowledge.
Thank you QBRX!
Another great video Blue - Love the dissonance sound that works so well - Mixing it up with single string picking really brings some colour to the solos
Many thanks!
the slash technique I always think. Great tutorial
Definitely he does it, and many before him. But Slash sure used it well.
Thank you very much Chief. Very good variation that will surely enhance the blues licks. Cheers from Indonesia.
Cool thank you for watching and commenting 😀
This is a great lesson.
Thank you!
A great lick to learn that uses the exact same "Bend and touch" @3:41 is I Loved Another Woman by Fleetwood Mac
Good example I'll have another listen to that song 🎵
Absolutely brilliant lesson so many thanks, ps i have bought your Guitar Soloing Like a Pro book 1 cheers blue 👍
Awesome, thank you! I'm working on Book 2 now. Hopefully out soon.
Super!
Thank you very much!
Another great lesson. I find myself deleting videos I have save and just going through your channel one video at a time..
Thanks! Lots more coming on the channel and my Patreon 😀
That´s the lesson I´ve been waiting for, fantastic! My personal favorite lick in easy shape is: play the high e string than b string than strumm through g, b and e and bend the g at the same time. I call it the "Southern Bend"😁 Thanks Blue!
Cool that's a good one too 😎 thanks again 🎸
I was waiting for this lesson too, I just didn't know I was.
@@postoffice146 cool 😎 thanks!!
another years saving tip...cool
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Another great lesson on this concept! Will Keith be hearing this?
Thank you! I hope so
Great video. To me its November rain
Thank you! That's a good example!
What is your selector wiring arrangement for your pickups ? (for that Tele'-Strat' sound)
It's the same as a 5 position Strat 😃
@@GuitarLessonsVancouver Has it been modified from the standard 3 position Tele selector ?
BTW. That pickup arrangement sounds great.
@@theparkerilla7292 Thank you! It was actually made that way. Fender does make a small number of these from time to time. I saw it on the wall in the store ... total impulse buy. They are known as a "Nashville" Tele.
Nashville player plus
It's an American Pro Nashville. They didn't make that many of them I don't think.
@@GuitarLessonsVancouver nice , O have Nashville player plus and love it and I have your solo book and it is a great book.
@@MrTelekes cool thanks!!!
I don't see many guitar teachers talk about the bend and touch !?
Good thing we have it here 😀
When book 2 is coming out
Thanks for asking :) I'm working on it now. Hopefully September, October but it's hard to say. I haven't had a lot of time lately with making videos and travelling with the band.
@GuitarLessonsVancouver i understand, you book help me to play over chords in solo an you videos too.
You amazing teacher that break it doing to the bones, a million thank blue, keep up the good work you an your band.
