Grocery run every week veggies,fruit and water, turkey sandwiches, almonds, keep all money in the bank 🏦

Keep tinned stuff, in case you get stuck.
@@sweetness2689differentiation. As much as possible. Are you realistically going to be able to eat the same “healthy meal” every day?
If you are able to pack meat, pack it frozen and it will last a few days in the back of the fridge to be cooked (if you have a means to cook it)
Dry foods that you can store in a cupboard. Crackers, noodles, bread (high fibre -whole grain, 12 grain, ancient grains- if you can afford it and find it)
Travelling for some people means a lot of time to consume more than you normally would.
I would figure out your basil metabolic rate (TDEE calculator) and what you’ll need with a sedentary lifestyle.
Packing enough food for a meal and no extra. Pack for meals when your grocery shopping.
Why are you buying a bag of potatoes? What are you going to make with it before it goes bad? How many meals can you get out of a bag of potatoes?
High protein foods, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, peanut butter, deli meats are great once in a while but do tend to be full of extra fats and salts, which isn’t bad (sandwiching your fibre with protein and fat helps it last longer in your stomach, you won’t feel as hungry if your sandwiching your fibre).

High vitamin foods like dark leafy greens (all your B vitamin requirements and iron) spinach, broccoli, tricoloured lettuce or romaine over iceberg lettuce. Coloured veg like oranges are great for snacks, but also cooking with red cabbage beats, radishes, peppers. Driving through different temperatures especially if your sensitive to cold climates (SAD) can really ruin things.
If you have any other questions I would highly recommend looking at women’s fitness on CZcams. They tend to focus on a more balanced approach to food an exercise with respect to your daily life and family.

I just got my CDL. Trying to figure out the best ways to live healthy on the road. Ive got a few questions. Imma be looking for more of your content to see if you already answered these questions. My questions are. #1 where do you clean your dishes? And how to do get them into the facilities you cleaned them at? What are the best/hygienic for that "time of the month" did you buy an RV toilet for "emergency" in the truck? Best ways to store your clothes? Best ways to carry in your hygiene products & clothes/towel from truck to shower? Best way to organize and store items like food, entertainment, clothes, hygiene, best way to make/keep bed? Best ways to deal with trash like trash can or just a trash bag? Best ways to store healthy made perishable foods?
When I think of living in a truck, I think of.. "whats the best organized way a genie can live in a bottle?" "Colossal powers with an itty-bitty living space!" Lol. I want to be able to have healthy food but the reality of space and finding facilities to wash dishes and doing food prep... doesn't seem practical. Any more ideas or tips besides a crock pot?

If you don’t want your cutting board to slip around while your chopping or cutting something, just put a wet towel or wet paper towel under it. It will keep it from moving around c:

I’ve been a strict vegan for ten years. Use to be pescatarian. I just graduated CDL school and been kinda stressing about how do I maintain my lifestyle. Would I just eat oatmeal and PB nJ everyday? Dried fruit and nuts? You by far gave the best example to learn from. I’m a handsome guy and I can’t help but wish I could be a team driver with a vegan cute woman . Otherwise I’d rather drive alone. I do exclude soy products but not extremely strict with it. So if I have to this first year getting my experience I will incorporate it. After 1 year experience at most I intend to get a regional route or home every day. At that point I can meal prep or order Mediterranean food and Indian food possibly in catering portions and divide the dishes for the week. Being a single vegan I’ve done that before very often. I seen another trucker make lentils. And I can eat the vegetarian bake beans. I’ll need space to store salads to counter the breads and nuts I’ll probably be consuming . I’ll probably take up a lot of space with coolers.

Paper plates. And clean out appliances immediately after cooking. Soap and gallons of water

As a fellow vegan, I know how hard it is to eat clean on the road so salute for all the prep you put in. One thing, get a nice chef's knife, a steak knife is only good for cutting a nasty, bloody steak 😁

My mom did this delivery for her and she complained to the app because my mom forgot to put the potatoe in a bag. My mom got written up and couldn’t do deliveries for a whole week because of her.

Not her fault. She’s on the road for a long time so she needs what she asked. Not your moms fault either because she should b allowed to make mistakes. Company is strict.
