Great interview! Thanks DJ! My only issue with it is the miners being forced to burn. Why shpuld miners bear this burden alone? We are the ones securing the network. How about burning it in transactions or something instead so that everyone bears the load. Seems like a dirty thing to do to the people supporting your network

I'd imagine if burnt at the transcription level, then using alephium would be more expensive.

I see your point….hmm I wonder if another way is possible? I still think it is a cool project. I just wish there were another way, but really at that point I wouldn’t be able to mine it anyway because it will be all asics. I am a gpu only miner. I try to stay in my lane mining wise. I feel like trying to compete with these giant farms that have massive resources and super cheap power is s losing strategy. I am of the opinion that the only way to become truely decentralized is to be Asic resistant for the long haul. I feel like that is what made Eth so exciting when it was minable, everyone with a gaming computer could have a little to trade. Anyway I suppose that is a discussion for another time lol.
