âĄïž What is Albuterol?
Albuterol is a Short-Acting Beta Agonist medication that is given to open up the airways of the lungs to relieve bronchoconstriction. It's properties promote the relaxation of smooth muscle tissue in the airways of the lungs so that they can open up to take in more oxygen. The medication is often used to treat asthma attacks and acute episodes of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Although it has it's benefits, albuterol definitely comes with certain side effects as well.

I get rapid heart rate and sometimes headache, but I have mild seasonal asthma. And Iâve learned to take smaller doses. Usually 1 puff seems to be enough. And this helps me avoid side effects. I think the problem is, many people use their inhaler way too much
I only get anxiety and gitteryness when I use the nebulizer. I always dread using the nebulizer, I'd rather use the rescue inhaler instead but sometimes it's not an option. I'm normally a very anxious person who is sensitive to stimulants so Albuterol sucks for me.
Thank you for being fast and quick this was the best video I found my son
I never had any of those đ
Am respiratory therapist in diploma sir
Albutarol messed me up, I developed a rare auto immune response from it called VGKC antibodies, my potassium channels messed up and got muscle tremors and ectopic heartbeats.
How often did you use it?
This was the answer I was looking for. Thanks. I was wondering if albuterol depleted potassium. Asthmatics have low potassium magnesium. Try taking potassium you need 4700mg per day. I get a twitch in my eye and sometimes leg cramp and now I know itâs because of this. Also too much dairy which potassium will balance out.
Miki Mik can I ask u a question please
What should I use instead? I have asthma :(
Neb saline solution and drink mullein tea
Bro sounds like Forrest Gump
I do use a nebulizer as I may have asthma, but I feel like an inhaler and the machine would be similar, as all I am feeling after using it is a bit of shakiness and dizziness, no anxiety or whatever. However, it is uncomfortable to have a thing in my mouth for a little while, but in the end it does help my breathing.
As of recent, I have minor cough attacks, so even though it is no longer prescribed to me, I do think I should have an inhaler.
MAY have athsma?? I have C.O.P.D. use two daily inhalers, a rescue inhaler, AND nebulizer 5-6 times a day. DONT nebulize if you don't need to.!!!! And im on home oxygen 85-99 % out of 24 hrs a day
i use albutrol
In throwing mines away, I don't need those side effects.
I NEVER have had any side effects from my Albuteral Inhaler.
You got lucky.
