You CAN pet the dog, but only if you have talent. And its easy to conclude Kevins character had no talent whatsoever. Mr Money didnt even knew how to read, clearly the concept of "petting" is far too complex for him at the moment.
This was a life-changing parable about the importance of a bond between a realtor and his horse. Truly inspiring.

He knew right away that the game would have been exponentially better if it was solely focuded on the horses instead of them being just a feature.
He should have gotten the horse an acting job as an extra.
I think wife is some kind of Eldritch Horror, the way she teleported down stairs and stares at nothing.
She sees more that we could ever hope to understand, of course it would look like shes staring at nothing to us feble mortals. If you could only know the depths of the cosmic tv show she sees every day, you life would never be the same.

Nah, they knew what they were doing with that feature. Its the same with the casino and the ranch to buy horses. They have no real place in the normal gameplay, thyere there for people like Kevin. Conversely, it could also be said that this kind of games are all make with the Kevins in mind.
Its not a mistake its an happy accident.

@@joeygilliland6794 It is a brillant tactic, fit for a military genius. Cause paitings arent nearly as profitable in real life, but bad games? Bad games pay for itselves (you would assume, otherwise i dont know why theres an endless amount of them).
I really like this game. If you talk to your wife every day you can ask her for cash too. And I'm pretty sure if you drop all the rent on the houses, then you can get all the other ones in the neighbourhood for cheaper. It's weirdly fun for how janky it is

There's something shady about a game that instantly gives you a suitcase full of money.
Disappointed there wasn't a Jim option in the character select.
You just know Mr Money got that suitcase from the local mob and now has to rent as many crappy houses as posible to pay it back in time. The so called wife entity is there to keep him in check and remind him hes on borrowed time, the moment he steps out of line she will use her many powers to rip him to shreds.
At least you get to pay for the privilege of remodeling Jim's murder houses.

Every year should start with a playthough of a bad simulator, that way theres an added sense of perspective to everything that will come afterwards. No matter how bad it all seems, you will know for a fact it could be much worse. Thats the best way to face the upcoming (and make no mistake, its inevitable) chaos.

I love how these kind of games always unintentionally double as physiological horror/comdey experience. Take for example your “wife”: A crude homunculus of a human being that traverses your house by either slowly and unnaturally shambling or literally teleporting all whilst just vaguely imitating a small set of what I would tentatively describe as human “activities”
It makes it feel like this is some act she puts on only when you observe her
Would I pay £10 for this, no! Having said that, I appreciate that they actually tried to make a game. There's some effort involved, most of these games are just broken asset flips.
Yeah, it does seems fairly playable for what it is. It looks awful of course, may even play afwul too (only Kevin knows), but it still feels more funtional that many of its cohorts. Its better that most of the other bad simulator games Kevin has played, if only for the horses.
@@pedrovallefin8406Yeah, there was clearly zero effort in animations but the rideable horse and drag racing even being an option is kinda wild.
Some of these ‘specific job’ simulators don’t let you do much outside the job the simulator is built around.
