I would definitely love to see more what sold videos. I miss the regular pick and pack / what sold videos from your shed days. The light hearted videos with Thom are okay but your older style of video like todays one felt much more educational 👍

Whether it’s a what’s sold or a huge haul or a warehouse video, I just enjoy watching Mel. You’re a bright spot in my day and I wouldn’t mind seeing more videos (but not in a creepy way - lol)
I get the low-end fiction in my shop just to get some easy sales too. It's fun to just ship some stuff out sometimes too. (But, like you said, it's great when folks buy a few and get you some profit!)
Yes multi purchases are the best and being higher profits when you can combine the shipping! Love them

Hi Mel, I had an electrician come to my house and put in a 220 outlet (probably different in Australia, but is the same outlet as a clothes dryer) and install a heavy duty heater in my garage that hangs from the ceiling. It’s amazing. My garage door is not insulated and my garage still gets very warm with the heater.
I enjoyed seeing the books and hearing about them. It also reminded me of my crazed mills and boon period of reading and how I ended up with boxes and boxes of them and had to start selling them on eBay and all the trying to stuff the packages in the mailboxes along my route to work each morning. Not sure why I stopped selling my second-hand stuff but maybe I should start up again because now my house is so full up that I actually have a hoarding problem ( not with books because I moved to Kindle but don't read anymore)
I had to turn on my promotions to dynamic promotions because I was not selling anything. It sucks that ebay does this because if you are not advertising at high percentage most likely your items are not showing at the top. Glad that you are selling well.
My sales are still down a little like it seems many are at the moment. I do run promoted listings and coupons etc to keep it coming

I hang onto a lot of books for a year or more, but they're higher-profit antiques. It ain't for everyone whatsoever. But it sure pays the bills for me! :)
But I'm all for the lower-end books as well because of every reason you brought up! Consistent, fast sales for the win!!!
Yes the older, antiquarian books which can be quite rare are a little different and do take longer to sell often but can bring great money. You do a great job at selling those Caleb! I tend to be able to source more of the common books where I live. The more common books that become highly saturated need to keep turning over fast to stop them getting buried on eBay by the masses. Books for the win for us 🩷

I always find it interesting how some folks can find so many books from one niche and not others--I still don't get how I can find any out here in Oregon. It hasn't even been a state for 200 years yet! Lol

I have an organizational question for ya! On that free book trailer haul, how many have you listed so far, and how do you keep up with what lot sales for what? Do you add an additional number to your already used sequencing? Or since they were all free money wise (not time wise lol) do you just chalk it all up to straight profit? Thanks!!
