I cracked up when you showed your "huggy buddy" parked next to you on that big old lot. I think people do it because they assume wherever another RV is parked must somehow be the designated RV parking area. They really don't mean any harm. (:

As an RV'er, when I have gone into Walmart to ASK if we can park over night, they would tell us "See the RV out there? Park next to it." So before you put people on blast, maybe you should think about what the store might have told them to do.... Last thing any store wants is a bunch of RV'ers taking up a major part of their parking lot.

BTW: The white stuff that congeals on cooked fish is called albumin. Brining fish reduces albumin.
Baked or grilled salmon cooking note: Cook wild salmon to 120°F (it has less fat) and cook farmed salmon to 125°F.
Brining Fish 6% solution: 5 TBSP salt, 2 quarts water. Soak for 15 minutes.
Why brine? Improves flavor and keeps fish moist. Brining works faster on fish than red meat or poultry meat. Brining helps reduce albumin which is an unappealing white mass that congeals on cooked fish.

    Hey Eric!
Welcome to Missouri (or is it Misery?) LOL! Of course, with the weather, it is always just wait a bit & you will get a different season! I hope you have the opportunity to see some of the Northern portion of the state as well. That is where U.S. 36 crosses from Mark Twain to Jesse James (as I like to say, anyway). I call it "History Highway". Hannibal is of course the start with the home of Samuel Langhorne Clemens (Mark Twain) and moving West there are a number of persons of notoriety along the way. Macon Missouri (though seldom remembered) was where the Macon Automobile originated and also was the site of a military academy founded by Colonel Frederick Blees. Then, just three miles South of 36, is Marceline which is "where the magic began" for Walt Disney. Further West is Laclede and the home of General John J. "Blackjack" Pershing. Moving on, Chillicothe is where the creation of the first commercial establishment of sliced bread came about. Near Chillicothe (takes some searching) there is also a memorial to the Haun's Mill massacre. You will have to look that one up for yourself. A point of 'not so good' history of Missouri. Then, there is Hamilton Missouri, the home of James Cash Penney...YES! "that" J.C. Penney. (My step-father worked on the Penney farm as a boy of 12.) Then, finally, you arrive at St. Joseph which was the 'jumping off point' for the Pony Express and the death place of the outlaw Jesse James.
I "know" this is LONG WINDED...But, hope to see you along the way.
    Ken

Eric, if memory serves me correctly, The Osage (O-sage) Trail is the path the Osage tribes took when the US government moved them off their lands and sent them to Indian Territory, now the state of Oklahoma. You may have heard of The Trail of Tears when various tribes were moved from the Southeast & Florida also to Indian Territory. So named The Trail of Tears because it was basically a forced march during winter and many died. If you are looking for trip ideas Oklahoma has a rich history of being Indian Territory, a haven for outlaws (think of movies like True Grit). The land runs (think Far & Away with Tom Cruise). Explore Native American history the different tribes have events like pow-wows and other places to learn of their culture, worth your time.

Maybe they were told to park next to you. Yeah, I don't understand that too. Make sense to me how you are doing your time. Always good to see you.

I’m 51 now all RVer’s have always stuck together. It’s safer. My father did it and so does my husband. We always park by other RV’s. Be happy about it that they like you Eric 😘👍☀️🤠

Eric, if you forget to thaw again, add season to frozen chicken and shake in bag. Happened to me before and that works pretty well! Still better to thaw and season of course but it's not bad!

Man, I was just down at the beach, came back, and a younger version of my RV (Minnie Winnie) was parked right next to me between the trees! I didn't think anyone could fit there, but they did... Totally not social distancing, and I can no longer open my dinnette window because of it... My biggest and most frequently sat by window, and their RV is three feet away... Doesn't bode well for my trying to "stealth" camp next to an RV dealership/shop. But been here most nights since Easter with no problems.
But why right next to me!!??!? Wedging between me and eucalyptus trees...
(Had to rant to someone who understands)

Anyone that thinks editing is nothing hasn't edited video. I would guess that a 15 minute video will take 5 - 8 hours to do.

We have on of those Anova devises but I don’t like the way the food looks when it is done. It looks boiled, I’m thinking about maybe putting it under the broiler for a little bit. Have you tried that?

I haven't been there in quite a while, but I think there is still a McDonalds Riverboat, across from the St. Louis Arch, that floats on the river!

The parking thing is done by people who aren’t sure if or where they should park. They’re assuming if you’re parked over “there” it must be the designated RV parking area. They’re not bothering to in the store and ask questions for themselves. Monkey see, monkey do.

Hey Eric and Jax I'm Dave and been following you for a while so I was thinking you can still do the chixn like that but there's sauces you can get that you can put on it and when you heat it up it will cook it with the sauce and give it an almost marinated flavor to your meals just a tip I figured out when I forgot to thaw my thixn first lol but it works and my veggies also get flavor too 😉 try it out never know might work for ya ✌️

You can put the seasoning into the bag with the frozen chicken. It works just fine as long as you don't just pile it up on the bottom of the bag. .

    SKeereD Rv'ers and Truckers.
I was in Sonora,TXa couple of weeks ago and the same thing happened to me. I was the ONLY truck parked on the VERY BACK ROW, all alone, away from idling trucks....and yep, you guessed it. Some dude backs right NEXT to me IDLED his ENGINE all damn night. There was 200 yards of available parking spots on the back row. I got out of my Truck and took a picture just for you.. I need to send it to you so you will know that you are not alone.
FYI- to folks that don't understand why I didn't move. When I shut down for the night I start my 10 hour break. IF I would have moved I would have had to re-start my 10 break. Meaning later leaving in the morning, later getting to location for off-loading. I had been there for at least an hour.
