    Sir!
    Would just like to say how much I really enjoy your channel and builds.
    I’ve been building models for over 50 years and I my humble opinion I think this is how you should build them.
    Your calm and concise narration is very engaging without any annoying music and a nice touch with the sounds of the aircraft.
    Loved the CR 42 build and I am totally absorbed with your Tempest build having just finished episode 3.
    Many thanks for sharing and keep up the excellent work.
    Best regards
    Martin.

    This kit seems to be fighting you every step of the way. I do agree with you about tackling a 'problem' kit every now and then, it keeps your skills sharp looking at a problem and coming up with a solution to fix it. I believe that some modelers today are becoming complacent with all the high tech kits now on the market so going back to a kit that has fit issues will help you in the future. Good work as always.

    I can't believe a kit with that many serious flaws in fit could have ever made it into production. Fortunately, your modelling skills are beyond exemplary, and you managed to do this kit some justice. Great work Steve and Happy Modelling. 👍

    Thanks a lot Steve! Every minute of yours videos is really a great school for me, plenty of tricks and teaching of art...In your last video Tempest #3 I saw a fiberglass pencil. How you use and for what? By from Italy!

    • @TheModelShed
      @TheModelShed  Před rokem

      Prego Stefano. I use the fibreglass pencil to rub away excess adhesive or rough areas. It is very gentle on the plastic and doesn’t scratch the surface. You use it just like a normal pencil. I hope that helps. 👍

    Hi Steve , can I say that I really enjoy your presentation approach your technically precise and descriptive, you could easily be presenting a watch making repair channel. My only criticism, what’s happened to the background pheasants and sheep noises? 😂😂😂 great video thanks very much for posting it. 👍👍👍

    • @TheModelShed
      @TheModelShed  Před rokem +1

      😂😂I don’t know - the pheasants are around but they’re being quiet for a change. The sheep are grown up now - it’s usually the lambs that make the most noise. They’ll be back making a racket in spring 👍

    Hi Steve, I'm not sure if you have tried an alternative to heavy primer surfacer for seams, using thick black carbon CA. It does take a while to cure, best overnight or hot air dry, but it doesn't sink and sands out well without damaging the surounding plastic. Kind regards Dave Porter London
