@@yasuyoshimixes8616 on touhou patch there's indeed one mod for replacing touhou songs by pc98 remixes, if i'm not wrong it only works w touhou 7-9

I discovered these awesome remixes, and by some weird twist of fate you've done almost all my favorite pieces. The only two left are Unforgettable, the Nostalgic Greenery, and Thunderclouds of Magical Power. I feel they wouldn't fit the PC-98 style though, sadly :(

Where do you get the program used to make the music? I've been looking for a good way to make PC 98 sounding music for a long time.
+Calvin Whittaker I just use window's notepad and a compiler haha
there's no program for making music for the pc-98 unfortunately, but you can do some fakebits using samples and plugins like VOPM on any DAW
but if you wanna make it playable on the real thing, you need to learn how to code PMD MML

+pedipanol My only experience with MML is making music in Mabinogi. Is this the same, where for instance o stands for octave, or you say d2 for a half measure held D note?

Wtf is that "faith" gauge
"The scoring system is based on the Faith meter, which has a refillable
gauge and a numeric value (minimum 50,000). As long as the gauge is not
empty, the player's Faith value doesn't decrease, but the gauge slowly
depletes unless the player is defeating enemies or collecting point
items. Point items also partially refill the gauge, and Faith items
increase the Faith value. The Faith value directly affects the point
value of point items and spell card bonuses."
Isn't that like the dream bonus from touhou 5?
kinda, except iirc the dream bonus only decreases if you get hit or use bombs, while the faith cauge decreases if you don't get points for a while
