I stood up for almost 4 days straight in the hospital. After having surgery on my tailbone, every move I did was so painful. Worse feeling ever didn't know what was reality or a dream.
I recently took a car ride south from NY that originally was supposed to be about 13 hours but ended up being 22 hrs due to bad weather. In addition, the night prior to the drive I got very little sleep. I did not get to my destination until 4am when I was already heavily exhausted at 10am. Let's just say, after a 22 hr drive on little sleep, I felt delirious. I was having sky high anxiety and couldn't even sleep for another hour after getting into bed. It was a lesson to me to take breaks and rest next time I decide to do anything like that.
My son and I both have insomnia and it’s horrible ! He’s going to a doctor tomorrow because he hasn’t slept for over 11 days now & it physically and mentally gets to you believe me ! 😢
You technically die in the head after 7 days... It's called "Sleep Deprivation Pshycosis" which means your mind isn't here anymore, not is it coming back.
I use to work night shift at a mental heath institute every other weekend and full time night shift at Walmart. I went 5 days with only 4 hours of sleep. I'll never forget it. I could barely drive home, was dozing at the wheel. I started to hallucinate. My eyes developed this deep socket look. I definitely lost weight. I developed these bad headaches right before it was time for me to go to my mental health job. I end up quitting both jobs, it was literally destroying me.
I had some extreme anxiety as a kid. Before my school year started I started stressing out really bad and couldn't sleep. I was awake for about 2 weeks. I went to school like this and started hallucinating. We were taking notes and I thought I was writing the notes down but when I went to turn in my paper and my teacher just sat their with a blank stare and asked me what's this I looked down to see a bunch of scribbles on my paper, I couldn't even write properly. We than took a tour of the school when we started going g down the hallways the hallways started to spin almost like a vortex. Needless to say it was a very very trippy day for me.
Same here. Been like this for decades. At night it's quiet, nobody to disturb me and I can get a lot more done than when everyone else is awake to distract me. There were times when I forgot to sleep for up to 6 days on end, then one eight-hour sleep put me back on track.
Yes, quite serious. It does catch up with me at times, so that, when I was younger, I sometimes had to sleep for eight-hour stretches, but this only about once a month. Now that I'm nearing my 70's, I find these longer sleep periods happen more frequently, about once every two weeks. I imagine they will become more frequent as time goes by.
Kids need to get more sleep* Teacher: this project needs to be done by tomorrow morning if not u will fail the entire class Student next day sleep deprived*
I have several times a week where I’ll be up 28-34 hours then sleep 4-7 hours or 13-22 hours without waking up. I have Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome for 9 years now with CFS both have no treatment and no cure, along with 3 autoimmune diseases I’m on chemotherapy for 1 3.5 years now. My days and nights run together so badly.
Earlier this year I couldn't sleep because I was scared at my new home and after 5 days I started hallucinating and I kind of brushed it off but then 2 nights later I was about to go to bed when I opened my eyes in the dark and above me I saw 5 faces spinning in a circle. It was terrifying
"as a pediatric resident in the middle of the night searching the nurse's station for donuts" right. donuts. i've had the same experience i just didnt know how to phrase it.
I was 10 stayed awake for over 24 hrs a little more than that. I was laying down in my room and started to day dream with my eyes open. I could see my sisters and my mom putting make up but at the same time I was dreaming. I still remember what I was dreaming
Stayed awake for some time I don't remember how long. I was abusing MDMA quite a bit at the time. I started to get auditory Hallucinations that were actually pretty cool tbh. White noise/background noise would turn into songs I've never heard complete with vocals and all the instruments you can imagine. Full with detail. Very bizarre but cool af.
No way that’s exactly how I hear it too I thought I was going nuts till now, could never put it that way or explain it to someone who doesn’t know what u mean. Major lack of sleep for years still on going
I searched for this. 5 days now and I got 3 hours of sleep, half in and out, not fully asleep. I was aware I was sleeping but I was also aware I was awake. I tried to sleep but it was this am I awake or am I asleep, where am I? No drugs, I just can't sleep. I work odd hours. As it is now, I can go another 24 hours up. I am wide awake.
One time in 2007 I stayed awake for 4 days straight and I mean straight and it was like a freaking dream the whole time. After that I slept for a week straight.
I literally sleep a full of 4 hours because I’m constantly breastfeeding and looking after my first newborn so it’s the stress of doing that but I need rest, sometime I risk either falling by lack of sleep or just looking at my worst ...
I used to sleep 8-9 hours a day and now I can’t even sleep for 5 mins peacefully due to anxiety!! Can somebody tell me how to fix this it’s been a month !
i had really bad insomnia at one point and was aawake for over 4 days before i went to the ER. Just being up long periods of time alone will mess with your head and have your thoughts doing all kinds of funky things. i kept thinking i was going to die so naturally, i didnt sleep.
I am good with my routine? Work swing shift for 3 days, then graveyard for 2. I'm also a full-time grad student with 1 class after my first grave shift, another class after my second grave shift, a 4.5 hours break and my final class. It is a consistent routine however my sleep lands at different times.
During school I was soo tired I tried everything in me to keep awake. After I got home, I went straight to sleep and felt my body go numb as I started dreaming. I even ate well (as in greens and meat)
I get tension on my pectoral muscles by 20 hours of staying awake. I basically only have water after midnight. So, from midnight to four in the morning, I don't eat anything. The ideal is 7 to 8, but I feel better when I either oversleep by 2 to 4 hours or have a nap in the late morning.
I stayed up 106 hours during a bout of depression before I slept about an hour and half. And tell you, that period of time produced the most vivid dreams. I wish that hell on no other human, not the dreams, but the insomnia. It’s miserable knowing you need nothing but sleep to function and then being completely unable to get it.
@@ananyarajashekar5771 getting a lot of sleep isn’t necessary, what’s more important is how ur body reacts , ofc u should get sleep , but if ur body is completely fine with u getting 3 hours of sleep like you don’t feel dizzy during day , lazy , sleepy , some headaches then it’s totally fine , because we all have different bodies like some bodies need 5 , some need 8 , others need 12 yk? But I suggest you to sleep 4 hours it’s better than 2 and a half
1. you've probably had a hell lot of sleep regularly up till that point 2. you're lying 3. in the insanely rare chance that you happen to be in the very rare group of people who can survive with less than 4 hours of sleep everyday, that sounds possible; but it's so insanely rare that you almost certainly won't have that condition
because of really bad anxiety and other mental issues i nearly stayed awake for a week and a few days (probably not that much since i didn't have permanent psychological damage like the guy who broke the world record lol, but i was so disoriented that it felt like it). when i was finally brought to the ER i couldn't remember what day it was, but could still hold a conversation pretty well.
Well for me it's the opposite. I have gone months at a time with little to no sleep because I have a bad case of insomnia plus I'm on ADHD meds. Oddly enough my energy levels remain the same but it's anxiety from not sleeping that is torturous plus instead of wanting to eat more it's like lack of sleep makes me nauseous and little to no appetite it's weird
@@hazybeatz1327 You're not alone dude. I have a medical condition where my circadian rhythms are off and I can't sleep at night. So I need to sleep in the mornings. Many times during the week, to make it to appointments, I have to get by on anywhere between 3 and 5 hours sleep. Although if I'm exhausted enough, I will nap for a while when I get home The same holds true for me. I don't get hungry or crave carbs. I have the opposite. I have no desire to eat and like you, deal with bouts of nausea. I literally have to force myself to make something to eat.
I sometimes get only 2 hours of sleep . For a week or two , I can get between 2/3 to 6 hours of sleep , and because of the continuous lack of sleep , I feel exhausted, tired , unmotivated, hungry ,I literally feel like crap . I'm going to start over by at least getting 6 hours of sleep every night !
Sleeping is SOOO annoying because I'm always sleepy at school, but when I'm in my bed I WONT SLEEP 😑😑😑

SenhorTudo Sounds really impossible but I wish I be like that.
They did him wrong with that thumbnail😂😂.

Lucky i dont sleep like EVER.
Lol I’m here watching this in bed late at night with school in the morning
Idk why but the best sleep you get is when you need to do things during the day but when you don’t need to do things it’s hits different
Schools: "That sign won't stop me because I can't read!"
Juggling is a COMPLICATED task
anyone seeing this on their recommended page in 2019??
I have several times a week where I’ll be up 28-34 hours then sleep 4-7 hours or 13-22 hours without waking up. I have Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome for 9 years now with CFS both have no treatment and no cure, along with 3 autoimmune diseases I’m on chemotherapy for 1 3.5 years now. My days and nights run together so badly.
Me watching this at 4:50am: 👁👄👁
Anyone else sitting on there phone at 2am now even though they have work or school in a few hours
Sleep is for the weak
enderlul a Russian I see
he should try “The russian sleep experiment”
"He was unable to complete simple tasks"
I mean is juggling a simple task now?
I function perfectly with 4 hours of sleep if I sleep more than 6, 7 or 8 hours I wake up super lazy low on energy and tired.
Same i dont know where these vids get there facts from
In the long run you cannot keep up with that. I am telling you. Don't abuse your body.
Earlier this year I couldn't sleep because I was scared at my new home and after 5 days I started hallucinating and I kind of brushed it off but then 2 nights later I was about to go to bed when I opened my eyes in the dark and above me I saw 5 faces spinning in a circle. It was terrifying
Couldn’t complete simple tasks? I can’t juggle on a full night of sleep lol.
"as a pediatric resident in the middle of the night searching the nurse's station for donuts"

CZcams: What Happens to Your Body on Little Sleep?
I remember I stay awake for almost a month, my body went numb and part of my body were swollen. College life brah. Good time.
I was 10 stayed awake for over 24 hrs a little more than that. I was laying down in my room and started to day dream with my eyes open. I could see my sisters and my mom putting make up but at the same time I was dreaming. I still remember what I was dreaming
1:04 “was not allowed a ‘wink’ of sleep” I thought she said “week” at first thank god 😭
I lost weight and hair when I slept very little. I even started talking to myself like a lot! And when I did sleep, I sleep walked! 😩
This is beginning to worry me as another person who is totally not getting enough asleep
Good luck out there my friends don’t give in
Gettin about 2 hours a night, now pulling all nighters not on purpose. I’m going to die young up yayyyyy. I’m struggling to type this.

Me too sometimes my eyes are just but i can tell im not sleeping
i like 11 hours of sleep.
Hate sleeping a waste of time
watching this after i havent slept for 28 hours, i feel amazing
One time in 2007 I stayed awake for 4 days straight and I mean straight and it was like a freaking dream the whole time. After that I slept for a week straight.

"Only use your bed for sleeping" My man just took all the fun out of jumping on the bed
I literally sleep a full of 4 hours because I’m constantly breastfeeding and looking after my first newborn so it’s the stress of doing that but I need rest, sometime I risk either falling by lack of sleep or just looking at my worst ...
Omy r u a single mom just asking thou
Jeff the killer: go to sleep lol
If I don't get a good sleep I always brust out in anger😂, don't know how this guy managed to that keep that good smile😊
1:35 now i know why i can't juggle balls
There’s a point where you will hallucinate. Dreams start to blend in with reality.
I stated awake for 4 days and started seeing cats everywhere ... it was like a bad trip.
Dan: 50 hours no sleep
Me, a chronic insomniac: hah
Not able to complete simple tasks guy starts juggling
During school I was soo tired I tried everything in me to keep awake. After I got home, I went straight to sleep and felt my body go numb as I started dreaming. I even ate well (as in greens and meat)
Should have done this on a Navy Sailor. 72 hrs is my record.
I've went nearly 4 days. Not at a strong mental capacity though. I reckon I inherited this sleeping disorder.😔
I’ve been up for 2 days, due to extreme insomnia. I actually don’t even feel tired right now. I just feel kinda floaty. I actually somewhat feel high.
When did u slept after that?
56 hours right now too, I would describe it exactly the same, I just feel, off.
This is making me feel like a freak I haven’t slept for 60 hours and feel no fatigue and am starting to wonder if I’m not maniac
OMG really... R u totally fine? I just wanted to ask u that is it ok to sleep only 2 and half hours daily?
@@ananyarajashekar5771 getting a lot of sleep isn’t necessary, what’s more important is how ur body reacts , ofc u should get sleep , but if ur body is completely fine with u getting 3 hours of sleep like you don’t feel dizzy during day , lazy , sleepy , some headaches then it’s totally fine , because we all have different bodies like some bodies need 5 , some need 8 , others need 12 yk? But I suggest you to sleep 4 hours it’s better than 2 and a half
@@ananyarajashekar5771 Nope unless and until you are mad
@@ananyarajashekar5771 I’ve been like that over a decade. It sucks, but the human body can handle it.
1. you've probably had a hell lot of sleep regularly up till that point
2. you're lying
3. in the insanely rare chance that you happen to be in the very rare group of people who can survive with less than 4 hours of sleep everyday, that sounds possible; but it's so insanely rare that you almost certainly won't have that condition
because of really bad anxiety and other mental issues i nearly stayed awake for a week and a few days (probably not that much since i didn't have permanent psychological damage like the guy who broke the world record lol, but i was so disoriented that it felt like it). when i was finally brought to the ER i couldn't remember what day it was, but could still hold a conversation pretty well.
Oml I'm going thru these waves atm :/
Although if I'm exhausted enough, I will nap for a while when I get home
The same holds true for me.
It doesn’t matter if I’m lacking sleep, my body knows an exact time period to wake up for some reason...
Day number 5 .... and the shadow people come out to play
I like to sleep for about 11-12 hours AMA
