Am I outta pocket to say I wasnt worried about them even when Embiid was cooking? He's a regular season player healthy or not he shrinks in the playoffs we've seen it too many times
He is made of glass so it doesn’t help he is always injured and they can’t even trade him because who wants an injury prone star.

I would argue that being coached by Nick Nurse may turn his postseason luck around. Even if they don't get far, I don't think he will look as bad exiting the playoffs.

Celtics fan here. The Sixers will be making a mistake to bring him back. Less than 100% Embiid right now ain’t what you want in the playoffs. Shut him down, look for more complementary players in the offseason. Caleb Martin might be good for them.

Can’t forget about PRESENCE it’s going to definitely hurt not having a superstar. Even if Embid is having a bad game the opposing team wouldn’t back off of him so just having him out there can keep an opposing team on edge especially if it’s a close game

Let's be really clear though, if Embiid is that important to the Sixers offense and defense, it just means that they are way more vulnerable to getting destroyed in the playoffs.
Playoff strategies that get him in foul trouble, pulled out of the paint by his man, or just simply being hounded too much on the offense means they'd lose a second round matchup again.

I’m going to take some swings at teams I think Joel might push his way to if he wants out. I’d say you need a fringe-ish contender with young assets for Philly and without a star level centre (so not the Kings with Sabonis).
The top 3 teams I can think of are the Warriors (young guys, picks, Wiggins for salary), the Mavs (maybe a desperate attempt to keep Luka happy), and the Knicks (who would be frontrunners for being the Knicks).
Just some ideas off the top of my head.

And I don't blame them running it back with Embiid because why would anyone part with an MVP?
But Embiid is very injury prone and doesn't show up during the playoffs, i personally do not like how Embiid plays who is very dramatic with fouls.
Im sure everyone saw the difference in scoring leaders without free throws advantage, Embiid drops off is quite large. Simply put, Embiid body and game are not reliable in the playoffs, in my opinion!
Is he gonna leave? For now, no. But the clock is ticking, and he sure seems tired of losing. I'd trade Embiid while his value is high.
As a nets fan i speak for the entire eastern conference when i say nobody is worried about the 76ers. Rather worried about that green team and the one in south beach

I mean to be fair, we haven't even seen Buddy and Lowry with Embiid yet. We have no center at all and defenses can protect the arc, and double maxey all game. We have no size and even guys at the 4 like Harris don't grav rebounds. All i know is, when embiid is back, the 3pt% will drastically go up. Also embiid hasn't won here, but how many playoffs was he hurt? You're talking like he's been healthy, and the team just let him down. The 2 playoffs he actually was healthy was 2019 vs Toronto and we know how that went, and 2020 vs boston when we had Al hordford at the 4 and stood no chance with 0 shooting. Besides that, hes been hurt. That's the issue. Can he actually be 90% healthy for once late in season.

Embrittle is selfish. He has the nerve to play for team usa just to medal chase. Luka, Giannas and Jokic wouldn’t dare switch countries. But Embrittle knows he will never win in the NBA. It’s a selfish move and he will get injured this summer!
