Some was talking about the game and what Caitlin actually brings to the Fever other than a 3 point shooter? How about gravity when it comes to offense. Caitlin steps on the court and the defensive team makes crazy adjustments. Blitzes, double team, triple team, full court press you name it. What all of this does is just free a bunch of Caitlin's teammates for shots.....they need to understand they have to get down court as fast as they can because Cailin's coming and she's going to smash you in the face with a pass. Get with it.
So whether you believe me or not is irrelevant, but I am not a CC22 fanatic. That said I have been following her. She is the team’s QB and touches the ball more than anyone. I was surprised to see her overlooked in this video. Makes one wonder if something is going on behind the curtain.

I was so happy watching this video for AB and the fever and then i came to the comments bc i like to suffer!! 🙃😂 seriously guys, try to be more classy just like our CC. Learn that from her. You nailed it! Anyone who has followed CC at Iowa knows she LOVES it when her teammates get the spotlight. More than awards and individual recognition for herself she wants to play team ball and WIN. I think she really enjoys videos like this that highlight what her teammates bring to the table.

So, I’d argue there are a lot more people around the world who love the Fever more than any other WNBA team. Don’t let the bitter folks get to you. I have mixed feelings about coach Sides. I definitely question some of her decisions but I’m going to see how the rest of the season plays out before getting to worked up. The Fever deserve good coaching and not just players running on their natural talent. If Sides was the Liberty coach they still would perform fairly well even on bad calls because of their talent pool not because of coaching. CC has been double teamed, blitzed, face guarded full court, etc. all season, that has led to wide open shots for the other players. It feels like the entire WNBA is downplaying her success lately. There was a podcast from WNBA media yesterday where they discussed the all star team, rookie of the year award, etc. for 50 minutes and Clark wasn't even mentioned. It was all about other players, mostly Reese. Their disdain for the straight white girl is appalling.

The only reason most know who you all are is because of Clark. The revenue you generate this year won't be because of the non-sense of the league growing but because of Caitlin's fan base following her wanting to watch her and the only thing the Fever look to do is hold her back on the court and celebrate Boston, Mitchell and Wheeler. When Jordan came into Chicago here, many hated on him for how flashy he was and froze him out of the all-star game but the Bulls as an organization understood this was their cash cow and how to capitalize on him as a business. The Fever don't seem to support Clark anymore than the rest of this woke league. Wheeler and Mitchell ignore Caitlin on the floor. Then you have a coach that doesn't even appear to like Clark...very noticeable on camera but the worst part, is she has too much to learn as a coach to support someone like Clark. They still don't even have a set offense but the pick and roll! It is painful to watch. We just hope that by the second half of the season, you realize Boston is not presently in shape to run and keep up with Clark and Fagbenle and Clark could be the tag team that enable the Fever to really do something special. I still stand by my words: Fire Sides!! She does not have Caitlin's best interest in mind, which means she doesn't have the teams best interest either. She made the comment to the press that she wanted Caitlin to take more shots, but video shows proof that is not true. During the game against the Mercury you can see Sides furiously screaming at Clark to pass the ball. Stating it doesn't have to be perfect just pass the ball and stop shooting. Then after the game she stated to the press that she took out Clark at the end for defensive reasons. That is absolute garbage and stupidity. Clark is top 20 in the entire league in rebounds(which is defense), steals, and blocks. She is a point guard not a big and is still in the top 20 in those categories defensively. On her own team Clark is 3rd in rebounds behind Smith and Boston. 3rd in blocks behind Smith and Boston. 1st in steals. Now, how in the hell is she a defense liability? It was to prevent Clark from making history with the Triple/Double. That is DISGUSTING!! Sides has no business being anywhere near a basketball court, much less coaching a professional team!! I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but the evidence is too strong.

You don't know what you're talking about, Mitchell is part of the big 3. She's the best scorer the Fever have right now, and the only one consistent across all 3 levels. Different players have different responsibilities, Boston's job is to rim run, rebound and lock down the paint, Caitlin's job is to shoot, stretch the floor, make the right reads and facilitate, Mitchell's job is to put the ball in the hoop, and she does it damn well! Boston, Clark and Mitchell are untouchable. Wheeler has played well in the last few games, so take it easy on her too. The Fever went 7-4 in June! Relax and enjoy the progress.

The Fever deserve good coaching and not just players running on their natural talent. If Sides was the Liberty coach they still would perform fairly well even on bad calls because of their talent pool not because of coaching. Here we have a developing team that NEEDS LEADERSHIP to take it to the next level. Not just a mere forth or fifth in time but to take the talent AND DEVELOP IT MORE FULLY TO BE A WINNING FRANCHISE. CC has been double teamed, blitzed, face guarded full court, etc. all season, that has led to wide open shots for the other players. It feels like the entire WNBA is downplaying her success lately. There was a podcast from WNBA media yesterday where they discussed the all star team, rookie of the year award, etc. for 50 minutes and Clark wasn't even mentioned. It was all about other players, mostly Reese. Their disdain for the straight white girl is appalling.

The only reason most know who you all are is because of Clark. The revenue you generate this year won't be because of the non-sense of the league growing but because of Caitlin's fan base following her wanting to watch her and the only thing the Fever look to do is hold her back on the court and celebrate Boston, Mitchell and Wheeler. When Jordan came into Chicago here, many hated on him for how flashy he was and froze him out of the all-star game but the Bulls as an organization understood this was their cash cow and how to capitalize on him as a business. The Fever don't seem to support Clark anymore than the rest of this woke league. Wheeler and Mitchell ignore Caitlin on the floor. Then you have a coach that doesn't even appear to like Clark...very noticeable on camera but the worst part, is she has too much to learn as a coach to support someone like Clark. They still don't even have a set offense but the pick and roll! It is painful to watch. We just hope that by the second half of the season, you realize Boston is not presently in shape to run and keep up with Clark and Fagbenle and Clark could be the tag team that enable the Fever to really do something special. Who knows...maybe you all make it really exciting and bring in Bluder, Mark Jackson or even Bird to coach who can lead this team to success.

Having said that i like the players on this team but the whole wnba and those higher ups in the fever need to wake up and realize what cc is doing for you. You and th wnba are trying ruin her and just make her one of you.
I still stand by my words: Fire Sides!! She does not have Caitlin's best interest in mind, which means she doesn't have the teams best interest either. She made the comment to the press that she wanted Caitlin to take more shots, but video shows proof that is not true. During the game against the Mercury you can see Sides furiously screaming at Clark to pass the ball. Stating it doesn't have to be perfect just pass the ball and stop shooting. Then after the game she stated to the press that she took out Clark at the end for defensive reasons. That is absolute garbage and stupidity. Clark is top 20 in the entire league in rebounds(which is defense), steals, and blocks. She is a point guard not a big and is still in the top 20 in those categories defensively. On her own team Clark is 3rd in rebounds behind Smith and Boston. 3rd in blocks behind Smith and Boston. 1st in steals. Now, how in the hell is she a defense liability? It was to prevent Clark from making history with the Triple/Double. That is DISGUSTING!! Sides has no business being anywhere near a basketball court, much less coaching a professional team!! I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but the evidence is too strong.

If the players could catch pinpoint passes there would be 75 percent less turnovers.

You don't know what you're talking about, Mitchell is part of the big 3. She's the best scorer the Fever have right now, and the only one consistent across all 3 levels. Different players have different responsibilities, Boston's job is to rim run, rebound and lock down the paint, Caitlin's job is to shoot, stretch the floor, make the right reads and facilitate, Mitchell's job is to put the ball in the hoop, and she does it damn well! Boston, Clark and Mitchell are untouchable. Wheeler has played well in the last few games, so take it easy on her too.
