This band has always sounded great, you're right. They've gotten more complex, creative and diverse over the years though, and their skills have improved constantly. I love them there, I love them here - they're great no matter what the year.

Seeing the Maids live and up close in a small, intimate club is a "Thrill" of a lifetime. One should consider themselves lucky to experience them like this because it's becoming rare. And as for sound... it'll be the best hard rockin' sound you can imagine -- clear, discreet, powerful and full of energy and joyful vibes! (And no compression!! ;-) Just ask anyone who's experienced them live. In fact, we've been getting an earful of "wow's" and "that was incredible" from all the reactors and commenters from their successful 2022 & 2023 Band-Maid USA Tours. Rock on, D-Mage!

You mentioned you rarely hear bass and I so agree!! Band Maid is the place to be for the best bass around; not just Misa who is our Barefoot Assassin, but also the eng. crew has been mixing things so well..

Oh absolutely! Her solos are amazing!! I rarely hear bass in music, so hearing that was a treat!
The lyrics on the screen are a distraction. I don’t think reactors should enable subtitles on a first play through. I listen to a lot of Japanese music and rarely search out what the lyrics are. I do if I really like the song.
Understandable! It was a unanimous decision from my viewers to have subtitles on for all of my reactions. But I also, really like to understand what they’re saying too, to get a better understanding of the song for any Japanese music. Or any non English songs. But I also barely know Japanese. I know basic terms like Hai, and Konnichiwa.
