@Frank-ii2ug. Yes, they do. More violent crime than everyone else COMBINED. That is absolutely an important factor to bring up when you are claiming others don't listen to that certain ethnicity....because they are not really all that credible when doing so. Not en masse, at least. The one who started out being divisive here is YOU. You are projecting that while acting self righteous while also just being ignorant the issues you brought up in the first place. If you really want to bring people together, maybe don't start out with typical victimhood mentality, a complete lack of understanding of basic statistics, and start to understand that the actual people self sabotaging the movement to go after corrupt and abusive police are the very ones that complain about it the most. All these movements have done is get people to take you LESS seriously. I am pro small govt. Therefore pro limited police power. But you even have me throwing my hands up and leaning towards supporting the police more than ever after what these anti police movements have done the past few years. Which is saying something. I really do not love the police at all. YOU need to educate yourself more on this entire issue and the actual arguments of all sides before you come in here acting all morally uppity and self righteous while really not knowing what you are talking about.

Per the FBI's last report on this topic, "White individuals were arrested more often for violent crimes than individuals of any other race and accounted for 59.1 percent of those arrests.". Now what were you saying about violent crimes again? Yeah, I thought so. You want to talk about ignorant, you might want to look in a mirror buddy. You have no understanding of statistics or the word ignorance. Projecting? Sounds like you are on here doing all of the projecting. I merely talked about how everyone should be able to come together against police officers abusing their power and voila, here come the divisive ones showing their racist inclinations as opposed to seeing my statement for what it was. Victimhood mentality? Acknowledging what police officers have been known to do to minorities since the inception of police forces in America throughout history has more to do with knowledge than victimhood but racist idiots like you prefer to keep the blinders on. There's a reason every few months there are reports of a prisoner being released because of falsified evidence or testimony or just general shady behavior from a detective, etc. It's because of such behavior you have someone like OJ Simpson going scot free but you wouldn't understand that. Everything you wrote is absolute trash and pure junk. Keep telling yourself that you're about limited police power and maybe youll believe it. I gave you the benefit of engaging your trash comments and left you with the stats to help you wrap your mind around but i'll finish with this. If your comeback to the idea of limited police power and coming together to prevent abuse of power by the police is to bring up crimes by people of color... i ask you, which one is the civil servant? Which one do your taxes go to pay the salary of ? If a crime occurs and the perp is arrested and charged, do your taxes go to pay restitution in such a case? No, you dunce. If you a police officer is caught abusing power, he most likely will evade criminal charges but he won't evade civil charges and though he will remain at work, the civil judgment gets paid by whom? Yep, you guessed it. YOU, you dummy. But keep on banging about crimes by civilians on a topic about checking police power and abused. Idiots. You're welcome.

Superior orders, also known as the Nuremberg defense or just following orders, is a plea in a court of law that a person, whether a member of the military, law enforcement, or the civilian population, should not be considered guilty of committing crimes that were ordered by a superior officer or official.[1][2]
The superior orders plea is often regarded as the complement to command responsibility.[3]
One of the most noted uses of this plea, or defense, was by the accused in the 1945-1946 Nuremberg trials, such that it is also called the "Nuremberg defense". The Nuremberg trials were a series of military tribunals, held by the main victorious Allies after World War II, most notable for the prosecution of prominent members of the political, military, and economic leadership of the defeated Nazi Germany. These trials, under the London Charter of the International Military Tribunal that established them, determined that the defense of superior orders was no longer enough to escape punishment, but merely enough to lessen punishment.[4]

A community center not accessible to the community?
The very basis of a community center is to act as a hub for general resources AND in times of dire need, a hub or extension of local and federal resources.
This mayor needs to be questioned on this poor choice of judgment to turn away her own community.

  • @diegoflores9237

The reason is that in our modern society there's regulations to keep people safe and dispense liability. It's the reality of today. You can't just do anything without permits. It's not like old times. Ironically it's the community that fought for decades to bring in more regulation to make everything safer.
