My First CNC Laser - Atomstack A5 M50 PRO

In this video I share my experience with my first CNC laser engraver over the past 2 months. The machine is the AtomStack A5 M50 PRO. The objective of the video is for you to learn the basics required to operate this machine, and decide for yourself whether it's worth the investment.
I run through various topics including how to test your lasers power for both engraving and cutting. I also demonstrated the possibilites of this machine for engraving images onto various materials such as plywood, MDF, slate, leather and cork.

Love a good laser video. Recently got a diode laser to engrave larger items (my co2 bed is tiny compared)
and I love it.

Very informative. My main hobby is guitar making and I wondered whether this system would be able to cope with other materials, both engraving or cutting, such as ABS plastic, ebony /rosewood, 2mm thick mother of pearl/abalone shell and decorative stone for inlays. Can you advise me before I consider buying? Cheers

Hi, you've given the speed and power settings but what other settings did you use when you did the engraving of the dog ? ie, jarvis, grayscale, half tone etc etc !! Assuming you were using lightburn, many thanks
