Great Video - Thanks Laser Dave
One comment - Using a torch to remove bubbles in the epoxy resin is the most efficient method. However folks should understand that it’s not the heat that removes the bubbles, it’s the CO2 from the combustion of the Butane. If you get close and gently exhale over the work piece, you will get the same results (you exhale CO2). I have used this method many times on 2 part epoxy. That said, I have never worked with UV cured epoxy resins, but I suspect the results will be similar.

Hi 👋, Trotec, Laser USA . I found this very interesting., as I have been going onto different websites and CZcams links to try and find out a bit more about lasers, cotton and engraving, and especially with resin, I have worked with wood all my life, I’m now in my 70s living in France and I need to find something to keep myself amused and to try and earn some extra pennies, it took me a little while, but I’ve not been on to a website that shows your products and pricing, I was hoping that I might be able to afford something, sadly, this is way out of my price range,
I will have to make do the way are used to do things years ago, that is with a fret saw or coping saw,
But still a very interesting territorial , Phil from the moulin France,

This is a cool idea. What type of laser are you using to engrave the Corian?
Also, I already use epoxy resin. You want a well ventilated area for working with it. Most tabletop, casting and standard resins require 8 to 24 hours cure time. Rubbing alcohol is perfect for cleaning up spills. I do love how I can combine my lasers with epoxy resin for some very cool projects.

Resin on a cutting board seems iffy to me. Are there resins that are specifically labeled as food safe? Most of the resins I've worked with are most definitely not.
