Yes, I mean realistically the 122mm could do more damage (more HE filler, if using APHE, HEAT, or other varients), but it would have a much lower chance to pen than the 88mm because soviet guns were awful at velocity compared to the German 88mm. IS2 also had much weaker armor than the KT. Realistically at 1-2km away an IS-2 would've struggled to take down a king tiger, and the KT would have a good chance of killing the IS2.

Probably a different type of propellent, I would guess gunpowder for the KT, because gunpowder smoke is a dirty gray. As for the IS, I would guess it uses some sort of nitrogen based propellent.

Maybe yes But there was a big problem , the materials of the late war king tiger , an is2 with a battle hardened crew would shoot the upper plate of the tiger untill it falls down and leaves a giant gap on the armor
@@alone8587 an average coh2 player will know that tank destroyers will always be in a disadvantage against tank in 1vs1. Should always make buffer to support the tank destroyers.

The game is an action based RTS is doesn't aim to the accurate just fun. It incorporate biased elements because people are fimilar with those myths. Like tigers are super strong or soviets had mass conscript waves charging the enemy without any plan or strategy. All of which actually isn't actually true. But it improves gameplay. A totally historical accurate game would not be as exciting. It may have some people like it but not nearly as many.

It is game bro and it has some balance. In history there is no King Tiger that got penetrated in front armor.

Nope, KT can get T8 performance only when quipped with with 10.5cm gun. This one is 8.8
IS-2 gets T7 with its 122mm gun tho

I'm pretty sure the IS-2 is the worst heavy tank in the game

The game has a ISU-152 wich Was able to destroy Tiger 2 but in this game ISU still losses 🤷🏻♂️
