- Today we metal detect the river using my small kayak. This is in an area where there was a lot of Civil Wat activity and an area where people swim and fish from the bank. Please come along and enjoy the day searching the river.
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my CZcams "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

On the river again today. It was a fun little adventure and I hope you enjoy it. Please don't forget to "like" and "subscribe"!
Why did you say the mercury dime was 100% silver?
I live by the now museum but was the first interchangeable parts gun factory ..it's on the Connecticut river..I was and am proud but sadly I brought them a vhs for there intro when people come..they lost it and said they are not focusing on the gun part
..that's the whole point tho
.now they call it a machine factorty..it was a starting point for Smith n Wesson one or both I can't remember worked there for a while..our small town has history that politics are literally swiping under a rug....they lost my vhs...of the original curator because it was all about guns and making for the Civil War parts that had no need for modification to replace...sorry to bother you chigg..I love all this history woth a passion and its sad they are trying to forget it on purpose
I heard the troll train is a good omen
I love ferocious beavers dude.
@@mixedmartialanarchist6469
Because in the time period they were made of silver.
That silver mercury dime was a nice find. Thanks for taking us along on your latest adventure!
After years of watching your vids I'd never go in water like that without shoes on. I bet places like that are paved with fishing lures. Stepping on one barefoot would be a new level of hurt!
very interesting video, thank you for sharing the video.🇮🇩🤝👍
Loved the echoed sounds of kids playing and the train too
Kind of sounded like summer, didn't it? Sweet!
Love the turtle shot
Thank you for a good video. It would be interesting to experience the river 250 years ago, then today. Have a great week.
I much prefer the sound of birds to the racket humans make! TFS!
Love hearing the kids playing having a grand time! We had a beautiful school building by our house years ago and could always hear the kids out at recess..they are currently tearing down the century old school 🏛🏫🏫🏛after replacing it with a prison looking building down the road. Appreciate your respect for history & the knowledge you share!
28:25 Missed censoring the coin there. But got it on the next shot lol
Always enjoy a day on the river. Thanks for sharing.
See you soon Chigg GOD BLESS
Beau your a Winner today!!!; )
Dobsonflies are a species of insect that lives in and around bodies of moving water like rivers and streams. They’re large, with a wingspan of around 5 inches. Dobsonflies spend most of their life as larvae and only live for a few days as adults. Only one species is found in the U.S., and it only inhabits the eastern side of the country. I find alot of them up here in Canada, when in the creeks and rivers playing with grands kids, I HAVE 15 GRAND BABIES & ALL LOVE THE WATER..
WELL I WOULDN'T COMPLAIN ABOUT YOUR FINDS THAT'S WHY WE WATCH YOUR SHOW THANKS AGAIN BIG MAN .😊
Great day for you young man outdoors in the water chigger stay blessed and safe 👍
I do believe that was a head light from a car that had a bar between the front fenders. Good luck on all your hunts.
You have alot of great adventures /Look forward to seeing your shows/
Thanks so much!
Hey chigg. I love your river detecting. Good luck in all your adventures!
Nicely done Chigg , good assortment of finds I enjoyed the video. 🇺🇸
Thanks Chigg for another great AQUACHIGGER ADVENTURE always enjoy river hunting
Nothing like a hunt on the River with the Chigg. Thanks for the video!
Another great video, thank you. The window weight is actually called a sash weight as they were used as counter weights on "sash windows." My grandfather had two rental houses, and I would help him paint and repair them as tenants moved. One thing that I would do is repair and replace the ropes attached to the weights because they were made of cotton. I have seen the old weights used as trot line anchors.
I always take the Amtrak train to D.C and look at all the rivers and creeks for the Chig as we cross .
always love watching your adventures
Thanks Chigg 🤘😎 Nice naked lady coin
Thanks Mike. Appreciate it!

Good afternoon from Syracuse NY brother
Ellenville ,NY reporting in.
Hi my friend
Headed to upstate in September, I got my eye on a couple sites just on the south side of Syracuse I've been wanting to jump into for years now.
Hi my friend
Awesome. Thanks for taking us along. Good place to cool off.
A great day of finds chigg🎉
2259 is a heads or tail coin, look real close and you can see her hiney!!!! My granddaddy carried one just like this for many years!!

Thanks for sharing the adventure, sir.
Love hellgrammites. 😆😊
I collect tokens, part of the hobby. Enjoyed, Thanks.
Aloha Chigg, Lot of work this time. Thanks for the companionship.
Another great episode chigg 💪 sweet Merc dime and mini ball!
I can just picture some good ol' boy dropping his nudey coin out fishing one day lol, even the modern items have stories so it's still fun to find them.
Good finds Chigg!
Well chigg like the late great Abraham Lincoln said we must endeavor to persevere maybe some 🪙 coins in the next video aye 👍😁
thanks for sharing
AWESOME BAIT!
2 silver coins very nice 100 francs is .720 silver and some nice bullets as well thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼
a new chigg vid, a whole 30 mins of relaxation, i thank you once again for what you do , i hope all is well you glorious man!
When you found the first token and were moving it around I caught a quick glimpse of a lady's back side and knew exactly what was on the other side. I have seen a few of those in the past, like '70s when I was a youngster.
Such a cool channel! Been subscribed for years
Thanks. Glad you enjoy my little adventures.
Loved hanging out with you❤
Yep, been watching him since he had like, 100's of views per episode. Love it
Love the long videos
Good finds , and two of the tokens were the lady on the one that was a little weird on a token , and the other I don't know but those stars looked very similar to and Occult Pentagram that was weird if that's what it was. None the less I think with the C.W. relics it was a great hunt. You never know what's going to come out of the ground or water . Thanks Chigg.
Awesome video man!
"I don't guess they are hard times tokens"... Or maybe they are!😂😂😂😂
I'm curious as to what's on the flip side of that naughty coin. 🤣
I have one it says tails you lose
@@Love2Wander I guessed that, but does it show a "tail"?
@@RaceCar21 yes it does
@@Love2Wander 🤣🤣🤣
@@3RJSMFC I saw that. The one didn't have quite the detail that the other did. 😂
The alloy T shaped thing looks like a shaving razor. Interesting tokens/coins!
That first bullet is a great find. I've heard that loading the gun twice like that was purely by accident because during a battle the noise was so loud and the adrenaline was pumping they couldn't hear or feel the gun go off so they put one on top of another.
Those Hellgramites definitely hurt, but they are good fish bait!!!
20:11 100% headlamp from an oldie car, squished.
28:53 man... that little T doodad... it's on the tip of my tongue. I've seen that before, but i've no clue where. It's so familiar, but not because it's an every day item, it just pops once in a while on the internet.
Great (and interesting) variety of coins on this hunt, Chigg! Thanks for posting
🌟Thanks!!😊👍
100 Moroccan Francs from 1953 was an unusual find. That is my year of birth.
when metal objects are in the rocks that's a good thing they are trapping them before they sink into the ground and I found a car brake a few years ago.
Any day hunting is great .weather you find good or bad
Chigg said RAM ROD! LOL, JUST KIDDING!
those bitey things live here too. We used to call them toe biters, I always thought no fish was tuff enough to take them on. I see you got a front-line turtle's shell those armoured ones were to protect them from boat props. Isn't evolution great?
21.04 ALMOST LOOKS LIKE A KEY for a floor furnace to turn the gas valve on and off
Good evening from Southeast South Dakota
Thank you for the adventure
Any sites worth metal detecting out there? Minneapolis here
Looks like the sleeve that connects a downspout to a rain gutter.
thank you ! need a little sanity and creek action .
the wrath of Cohn
❤❤
🌳👍⭐️
Yep head light tub.
I have one of those tokens of the woman. Breast side says "heads i win" backside says"tails you lose" Rk.
Howdy
Cool stuff dude thanks for sharing. Hey what ya think of the gold hoard they found in kentucky.
I saw that also. I'd be shaking for months if I detected like...one of those coins 😂
11:00: I believe that bottle is a Clorox bottle probably dated somewhere in the 1940s to 1970s.
well you did get some goodey's .
Do you feel like there isn't many artillery shells left in the rivers.
Heads, I win. Tails, you lose.
Correct!😂
Yup that is an old bolt on headlight housing..
20:16 Most definitely a 1920s / 1930s auto headlamp without the lens and parts in it, and nearly smashed flat.
A lot of troll trains today
Lol at first you forgot to put the yellow bar on
I double loaded a Thompson Center on accident when I was young and it kicked like a mule.
Danggggggg
Hey Beau. Have you ever done any Civil War reenacting?
Thought you found a leach spring
11:39 that's a railcar journal box cover...
When I buy land in Tn. maybe you could come over and show me what type of detectors are best for dry ground & water? Any suggestions of where I should buy "major" amount of land in Tn that you haven't detected yet?❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
New T.Sawyers nearby.
Take a shot every time you hear a troll-train
The last one of those I saw 11:55 must have been #999,999 because now I've seen a million of them. That fork could be over 60 years old because we had some just like that when I was a wee lad. That pattern must have been used in military mess halls because I saw a lot of them on military bases that I grew up on. That looks like the flatware you could find in base snackbars, dining halls, basically wherever food might be served. Goes well with Fireking coffee mugs. Civilian places probably used it, too. Your attempt to censor the token was laudable, but if you review the post hunt review you will find that you missed a clip! 😮
Have to wonder how old the coins of nakedness are ?
Have you ever thought about melting down all the scrap iron you find? After the impurities are scraped off the top I bet you’d have a lot of useful metal left. Might have a use?
Hi, iron smelting takes a cupola and tons of heat, coke and limestone etc., easier to sell as scrap for weight. Better to melt the aluminum or brass in a crucible with gas in a furnace. and make ingots.
