- Today we are on the river searching for relics, coins, and bottles. We jetboat up the river and metal detect the shallows hoping to find lost artifacts. I find several turtles and other interesting wildlife, plus the metal detector rings off and other treasures are discovered.
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my CZcams "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

I know it's kind of a long video, but I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching and don't forget to give it a "like" if you want MOAR!
Thats a hard drive at 5:04
@aquachigger I've been a lot happier with the length of the videos. More Chiggin'.
I love the longer videos!!
I need your mokai.if your done with it.
Longer videos are probably a good idea. Since the writer’s strike, people are starting to run out of TV content so CZcams fills a growing void.
I'm fairly certain that melty thing at 5:00 is the internal disk from a hard drive.
Totally agree.
Yup came to post that. Someone's illegal collection was scrubbed
@@InstructorRandyMust have been really bad. Destroyed by fire and then water.
I thought it was a small speaker. Like from an old telephone
Definitely. You can see what remains of the platters under the hub. The torx centre screw is a dead giveaway too.
Hi Mr Chigg, 05:00 Looks like a computer hard drive, thoroughly destroyed.
Came here to make the same comment! Bet someone melted it and chucked it in the river to destroy any chance of data recovery!
My thoughts to
I first came for the metal detecting, but return for the chill vibes.
me too!
Enjoy the 4th of July Beau!!!; )
As we celebrate our independence, Chigg, thank you for your service. ❤
The Redcoats are coming…..🇬🇧🤴🇬🇧
Chiggs great finds. Loved the toe tap, turtle weenie and the glass bottles and milk glass jar. Always enjoy finding coins. 😀👏👍
I like to think that a turtle is skinny dipping somewhere, rather than it died. Lol
The gurgling Turtle set the tone for another great Chigg show! Thank You !
Aloha Chigg, 37:29 When you turn the rock over. Shell or coin? Kind'a flips like a shiny coin. Thanks for the friendship!
I saw that too! Was nearly positive it was a silver coin.
I always loved finding wood turtles in the wild as a kid. They're one of the coolest species of in North America.
I love these river adventures, but I've got to remember to Hold My Breath!
See you Chigg GOD BLESS
Great adventure with so many treasures from bygone days Thanks for taking us along
🤣 Loved the little turtle at the beginning--so sweet!
Always enjoyable hangin' out with Chigg - but man, I just can't get over how cool that jet boat is!
I love turtles!
Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. 🎆🎇
Great video jig to watch on a nice hot day like it's here in Washington state it's blistering hot up here today and watching this video cools me off I just came in from outside what a refreshing video
Nice long one, Thanks Chigmeister! Happy 4th
Thanks for the video, good sir.
Captain Billy might know Something about that Fallic Romanisk Style Weight probably a Old Legend of Sorts !!!; )
Thanks Chigg, another great video , that was a nice button with the shank still on it.
I think you found the second Antikythera mechanism...
😂Did they ever figure out what it does, or who made it?
I have heard of it compared to a computer. I think it was used for calculations of some kind if I remember correctly.
Great video. Much longer than most. Couldn't get over how bright and shiny the coins and buttons were. Very enjoyable trip. Interesting finds. So what did you do with your mokai? I'm sure the boat is much more comfortable to ride in since you fixed up the seats
@@RaceCar21 It's a clock. Calculates the position of the Moon, planets, solar eclipses, sunrise/sunset, when the Olympics were held etc. Made by some very smart Greek dude who figured out clockwork gearing 1500 years before it was invented in the Middle Ages.
Happy Independance Day Beau!
Some good finds Chigg. Happy 4th and stay safe always! Thanks for sharing😘👍🎉🧨✨
If the USA don't stop this warmongering there may not be any more 4th July celebrations.
Thanks for the adventure!!😊👍
I love the turtles! It's a very rich informative video Chig! By the way happy 4th and thank you for your service+
Thanks for the video! Enjoyed watching. I will be waiting to see your next adventure!
Chigg love the under water hunting
You Know How Turtle's Are 1# Has Ben Drinking Beer 2# Has Ben Drinking Beer Got Drunk And Is Off Skiney Diping. 😎👍✌.
Chigg your gloves are on backwards!! Great hunt and I love that lil jet boat.
The jar looks to be probably a 1880s to 90s wax sealer food jar! Love the video
I sure do enjoy your videos. You got some great finds there. And thank you for showing us the turtle 😊. It's really neat to see them in their natural environment. I didn't know they blew bubbles 😅
Have a great day. I'm off to watch another one of your videos 😁
Another awesome adventure. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing Mr chiggers

Tied off to a rose bush! I love that it's so evocative of your connection to nature!🎉
Thank you for taking us along on another great adventure 👍
I loved the 🐢 best. ❤😊
Thanks Chigg for another great AQUACHIGGER ADVENTURE
19:49 what is that disc that comes flying up when you pick up the rock? It sparkles in the light and then the back side is black. I was almost certain that you were about to pick it up but you never did.
Another excellent river hunt 👍
Thank you for sharing
Get a mold for making jig heads and remelt all the lead and pour jig heads and call them chiggs jigs 😅😂
another classic !
I love your boat
Great hunt fella 😁💪 that Turtle 🐢 chatting to the detector coil 😂 priceless 😁🤟😎💥
We used heel taps to run and slide on the slick stone floors at school back in the 50's. @ 29:10 that looked like the old school paste jars from the 50's.
Just the greatest 😊♥️
Loving your videos Ian Birmingham England 🇬🇧🍺
Always enjoy, regardless of what you discover. Looking forward to watching you detecting civil war sites. I almost get as excited as you when I watch you pull up a cannon ball or artillery shell.
Aquachigger I think you found lair of ninja turtles lol but was he a snapping turtle ? Great finds and relics I need to get my super magnet out again or metal detector greetings from uk 🇺🇲👍🦊🐾🇮🇹🍀
Long videos are my favorite!!!
Should carry a small magnifying glass. Keep up the great work Chigg
Maybe the bird track was a baby T-Rex lol.
Nice hunt as always. Was in Kaiserslautern from 90 - 96, watched the Reds on AFN at 0 dark 30 in 1990 for the win. Nice to see them doing well this year. Met you at Digstock - have a great holiday!
Well done chigg 💪🍀🤘😎
Going slow is a tough experience with a jet boat. Just be glad the turtle blew air out of the front side!!
nice finds
Nice hunt 👍👍❤️
Tortoise identifys as dinosaur saying reeeeeeeeeeeeee underwater! :0
8:51
Brilliant 😂
The item at 5:00 minutes looks like a melted computer hard drive
great episode 🌊🌊👨🦯
Could be a burned hard drive? If it was it probably had some interesting stuff on it.
Best cold open ever
18 :50 The button off of Bill Dance's ball cap.🧢
The drill instructors in Basic Training wore those heel taps so you could hear where they were all the time.
35:57 Looking like a hard drive. Those appear to be disc's and the center hub with a torx head center screw.
part of a hard drive
I think that melted round thingy is the inside of an old telephone mouthpiece that you'd talk into. You could unscrew the talking end of a phone handset and these could come out. Just a little disc.
Second that
I think you found a fishing reel for a fly fisherman. But thank you for taking us along.
Awesome large canning jar. I would fill that thing with wheat pennies, but you would probably fill it with bullets. Take care.
Best video opening EVER!!!!😂😂😂
Happy 4th of July Chigg you dig .
really very interesting and fun.👍👍🇮🇩
Looked like a hard drive spindle that had the little torx head on it.
Germany 🇩🇪 in the early 80’s was a great place to be as a young GI. Unless you ended up in graf in the snow ❄️ I was south of Pirmaseans at Fischbach Army depot, where were you?
Chigg and whoever else is with you if anyone that is
At 1950 i swear i seen a silver coin fly out. Great hunt. Love the longer videos✌❤
When he flipped the rock,lol
Looked like a beer bottle cap. Good eye!
Hey Chigg ! Do You ever take a fishing rod along ?
Relics and Dinner. If they're ok to eat from your river.
That first zinc thingo looks like a map of Australia (or have I had one too any beers) 😊
That melted thing looks like a Sterno tin...or a hard drive is a good'n
that copper disc radio thingi you found are the remains of a very old harddrive i would say
12:07 i've never actually got one wet, but i wonder if these are the same "rocks" that we find from time to time in Europe. The older gents always told me they're the byproduct of powerful, continued fires (camp cooking spot) where some trash might've been thrown. When they're dry, at least those i found, almost look like a mix between a dull aluminium (rough cast) color and the ashy black of coal. I can almost see some darker tones in that "rock" in there, but being wet and muddy it's kinda hard to tell. I've never much cared for those, but they are good indicators (when on land, couldn't say in water) that the area might have other stuff worth looking for. My usual procedure is to start a radial find around them (if they're in the ground) and you get quite a few bits (trash, but still cool stuff). There's other people who start digging the area and they find non detectable items like toothbrushes, leather, fabrics and paper.
Little known fact: During the civil war time tampons were made of lead......😂
#Turtle bubbles
That strange ting with a skrew in center is a hard drive HD from a computer. 👌👍😅
Space ship😊
That melted aluminum is a CD DVD player, the carrying slider probly from a laptop.
Toe taps were made in 1863 and were worn by Union soldiers. Flat buttons are dated 1790’s-1820’s.
That disc you found near the beginning looks an awful lot like a magnetic disc out of an old hard drive. Not sure why it would be in the river. Perhaps someone took it apart for the magnets. In the 90's I used to repair computers and when I would replace a hard disk drive, I used to give the faulty one to my dad who would tear them apart for the magnets. He was a gold prospector, though I don't really know what he collected the magnets for.
not sure if it is the same in the us. But old coins here in the Netherlands with those holes on it normally where coins that where not valid anymore and people put a nail through it to hang it on some wood. Btw nice video's i just discovered this . Greetings from the Netherlands
That brass roundish thing looks like the internals from a old hard drive someone burned.
5:07 that's a hard drive.
LOL....the fishing weight was likely a proud moment of innovation for Cletus...."Hey....Billy Bob, check out my swuval weight...gonna be a millionaire." (Warning, Dad joke) Now....the toe tap thing comes from the shoe of a politician. It protects his shoe while kicking the can down the road.
4:58 looks like a hard drive
thank you for yet another awesome video!! i loved the turtle part, the bubbles coming out of it was so cute
