I had the same reaction as you when I first heard the song. I was like who are they mobbin’ on? Whose their opps? This song is hard though, you can’t listen to it without dancing along.

I usually leave hyped comments to reflect my excitement towards these girls for reaction videos I come across but after going thru a rabbit hole, I've learned a lot of terrible things the girls are experiencing now. Here's a tweet about the recent happening on their January 'Shooting Star' stage:
"Ohmygod some (Korean and non-Korean) Alphaz who went to broadcast today didn't get the slots for XG 😭 They said 99% of the audience for XG are not even fans 😭😭😭"
"can confirm since i was there. a lot of people who won also did not attend & a lot of koreans who are not fans purposely apply to be silent during the performance. they immediately sell the pcs after and hide their slogans. the fanchants are basically mute bc of this"
At this point I'm enraged how these girls are being ostracized and even abused online by some Koreans. To all ALPHAZ out there including K-ALPHAZ, I just wanna let ya guys know that you can be better than these Korean antis and antis from International K-pop communities. Let's not stoop down low. They are not in our level. LET'S BE EVEN MORE PROUD AND LOUD for XG.
Let's keep the momentum and sky rocket these girls to international recognition. Kgen Kulture, I hope you become a part of this movement. As someone who just discovered these girls on March, they deserve nothing but the best of THE BEST.

I remember when this happened. I'm sure it's the same group of people who don't want to call them K-Pop so international fans are willing to claim them now. Which is just causing arguments between the Korean fans and international fans on how they are labeled. Personally I'm fine if some want to call them a K-Pop group and others want to call them a global group. I just wish people would stop fighting about it because in the end it don't matter. I consider them a global group but they are definitely K-Pop adjacent.
Ciaria and jackson wang did a remix of this at coachella and they just released a version with ciara and jackson wang a few days ago.
