EastWest's Composer Cloud that I mention in the video: www.soundsonline.com/composercloud
Orchestral music has been a long and enduring love of mine, ever since I heard the symphonies of Beethoven and Mozart as a little boy. I had these tapes of all of the classical composers that I would listen to at night, and still remember being spellbound by the spectacular world woven by the vast spectrum of colors and incredible intensity of the orchestra.
I've wanted to do this series for a long time. Here we go! - Hudba
Awesome video. I felt like Batman was explaining orchestration to me. Thanks!
😂😂😂
Hahahahaha
YOOOOO😂😂😂
I was coming to comment this🤣
"I AM THE ORCHESTRA."
The pauses in your speech both comfort and disturb me
Sounds almost like G-man.
Lind by words
Wtf why does this not have more views??? This is amazing
I think the word “orchestration” scares people.
Finally, a CZcamsr who sounds different.😁
This orchestral society we live in.... it’s brain washing us tubaman
It’s like the Joker is explaining orchestration to me... I love it.
These huge scores are so impressive! So far, my most orchestrated piece is for piano and violin, so I'm curious to learn more. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! 😊
Dude, THANK YOU! I have been looking for a video like this, and this was EXTREMELY helpful. I’m turning 30 this year, and I’ve always wanted to learn to play an instrument (just started teaching myself piano), but for the past couple of years I have been extremely interested in learning to compose after listening to some of my favorite video game composers, and watching videos on how they created their music. It looks like a lot of fun, and something that could cultivate a lot enjoyment. I love music, so I’m very determined to become a decent composer even if I’m older. I don’t care what the naysayers say about being older; I am very determined even if takes me 20 years. Thanks for the video and I will definitely be subscribing.
I'm a few years older than you and on the same boat. The industry is changing, and in my view, we have tools at our disposal that weren't available before and can make a difference for those of us starting late. I'm finally trying to tell myself to do it for the love of it.. age and a minor case of tinnitus were discouraging me, but I just need to play it smart. We got this.✊️
A proficient orchestral composer is truly an artist of sound. Thank you for this video! Orchestra is under appreciated in modern society - i sure hope this changes 💙
Dude your voice is intriguing. You should be hired to tell stories in Hollywood movies, like thrillers
This is absolutely the best video I have seen yet for anyone wanting to compose orchestral music via midi programming.
You don’t know how much I love this video. The composition in the background adds so much to the already helpful tutorial :3
I love how you present such a wide variety of information with a distinctive dramatic flare. I'll be watching this multiple times, and I think I'll have to grab that East West program thing too
I loved it. I love your voice too! Everything's so engaging. Please continue this
Your videos just keep getting better and better. You're someone I'd love to have lunch with some time. I feel like we could talk for hours about music. I've literally googled "how to orchestrate for MIDI, sample libraries" and "how to harmonize voice" and so many other things that have lead me to your videos.
Thank you for all you do!
The video I've been looking for the longest time. Thanks!
This is the most underrated channel I've even seen. He deserves more subscribers!

Wow this was amazing, best orchestration video I`ve seen by far
This is great Saher!
What a phenomenal video.
I recently became interested in composing for video games and, as such, composing with a traditional orchestra and learning how and why what instruments are used where seems to be a very important part of expanding one's toolkit beyond what is commonly used for popular, or even niche genre, music. ♥
This is so beautiful!
you are a great story teller, never bored with you
That's excellent. You should continue the series.
Fantastic video style.
best narrative award for a tutorial video goes to... seriously I am hooked

I had to.
This video puts a lot into context and I feel so disorganized with a bunch of gems for Melodic ideas.
I want a cinematic approach to a blend that staples some very moving melodies and rhythms.
I'm primarily a moderately seasoned drummer with some piano experience and I assist musicians on the west coast of America as a studio/live session drummer.
Doing the band thing has its own rewards, but I want so much more to express musically.
Friends are great to brainstorm with, but I'm not getting the complete satisfaction of writing material from the ground up that's as fluorescent as the soundtracks in movies I love and admire.
I typically chart my own drum material in bands to fit their established sound, but its never a requirement as much as I wish it were.
Its not always easy to embody session music as a conducting musician in a fulfilling way if I can't learn and practice scores.
Yet, I've been respected by really great artists and directors as this composing drummer.
And on that note; most of the artists I work with don't care about playing to charted music sheets and I'm typically left feeling songs out.
Too easy, granted the time spent learning, but I feel my intelligence deserves a little more growth in orchestrations because, I love time signatures, anticipation, build-up, the layers and textures of emotional expression that captivates the true art of music.
Thank you for this video.
If anyone read this, I'm seriously open to any recommendations for good books and teachers indoctrinated in music composition. 📚 thanks. 🎼🥁🎵
Great video! I’m wondering, is there a second part to this?
The French horn is a treasure.
Yes, even in a DAW and libraries
His voice is like "I'm gonna make you an offer you can't refuse."
took me to another world
Hmmmm.... Almost couldn't lift a finger.... Nice one sir.. Am definitely learning orc
I thought there was an episode 2 for this ! >
great video - the voice over is like an agatha Christie detective explaining how they found out who killed the victim.

Saxophones and Euphoniums crying in the corner

Bro sounds like he's about to tell me mprt is an immortal being who wishes to consume the universe
When I write that first German opera, I got a couple people I ain't inviting.
It sounds like he snuck in to the library after hours and doesn't want to get caught.
Dear teacher... It would be possible for the Spanish language to be included in the configuration of your video... Thank you very much...
Your voice is awesome....love❤ from India 🇮🇳
I can’t find part 2
I think you are living in 10 years ago, dude! EW is not the only pioneer company in orchestral instruments sampling any longer.
