I think is the best decission, to cook it slowly with an small tree. As always, just great.

Wooow you did an excellent job! I also agree with your choise of using a young plant because in a few years it will have merged very naturally with the dead wood and will be a real living sculpture! Congratulations my friend! 👍👍👍🔥

Wow ever video I watch becomes better and better. Showing your techniques with no commentary is even better, sometimes I think people talk too much in there videos; I like to hear what artists and tree are saying/feeling with to each other as they dance together in art of bonsai. Thank you Sir.

I did not find the ending anticlimatic. Instead, I was amazed at how you attempted this tanuki, and filled with curiosity about how the tree will develop over the coming years! Brilliant job, my friend!👍

Not anticlimactic at all! It takes discipline to start the long journey of a Bonsai and not get carried away with instant gratification. Great job!

When I look at your work I have the impression of a tree that came back from a long dormant period of life. I can follow your idea of taking a young tree and enjoy the journey in future. Tanuki is for me a good way to “revive” trees that did not survive my treatment. I like your style with no talks, essence only ❤

Eine beindruckende Hozskulptur. In unserem Hobby ist vor allem der Weg und die Entwicklung wichtig, die von unserer Idee vom Baum geprägt ist. Gratulation!
