I really like the Zeus mission videos because you get a clear idea of whats going on and you never miss part of the action.
Also what mods are you using for the Zeus scripts? I have ares but i see you have a couple more than me.

Awesome stuff. I liked towards the end where you made him actually call in the coordinates. If hes off he misses or can create friendly fire. Adds to the stress under fire but a direct hit would be incredible!

This was absolutely amazing! Everything was fone wrll. Of course, everyone thinks you should make it more challenging but you were very proffesianal. Rewatched the first. Though next time, don't be afraid to hit them with arty.

I kind of like some of your Zeus game plays that you do... but there are parts where i feel that you do make it a bit to easy
AI´s are cannon fodder while real players are getting fired upon... but only close and never really hurt/killed
And in some ways i think the players knows this and therefor dont really take it serious.
Just look at your own gameplay in this clip at around 11:50

Like i said... i like a few things in you Zeus gameplay, but there are parts that destroys the "realism" from what might be happening in war

I appreciate the feedback but this was my 6-7th mission I made and obviously there is room for improvement :)
look at the moment you have control over a spg, you have a clear shot of that jeep, direct hit but you choose to shoot the tree line where the is no one, when you have a direct hit like that and don't take it, it's obvious you making it easy for your friends so they don't get mad at you and shit (I get it), but ask yourself to whom you want to be nice to, viewers or friends?

Nice vid has always! But i have one question, where did you get all of these Zeus option like changing the side of the player, changing AI behiavor and spawning buildings! I don't have them when i am zeus.

Looking at this, with a bit of work, ARMA has good potential to make an add-on/additional mode for an RTS type game.
Btw nice vid and I like the fact that the players are all in it.
I have to admit, seeing both of these videos make me want to watch 9th Company again. Cause this was great. With everything thrown at them, they managed to pull through by the skin of their teeth. Shame there aren't any AK-74's with wood furniture in RHS to be accurate to the period. But AKM's fill the role nicely.

Very good series,. I would try to not be as forgiving though and I am sure you have your reasons. I wouldn't give hints as well... Sporadic small arms fire with a couple of poorly aimed RPG rockets would help realism, just never pull a rambo unless they really get complacent, which you've done well to punish them (so keep that up). Reference found footage for inspiration on how to deploy and move Mujaheddin forces. AI Hines could also help with realism with fire supports... (Give yourself a pool, as well as your players, of assets which they can use). BAMCIS, SALUTE Reps, POS, SIT Reps, etc. are good for inspiration and used to brief troops prior to actual execution. They can also give you ideas to help create a realistic pool. (Also never say repeat... unless referencing a second fire mission salvo)
You're aiming low with the SVD, right? I always assume that the shots are landing low due to distance.
Hi Shermanator! I am liking your zeus play, this is good.. But I thought maybe you should try to minimize your communication by microphone with the players, and try to tell all the info in the mission description when you begin making the mission. then it will maybe not get as chaotic for you.. But The less you "guide" everyone through the more people usually like it.. Well this is as far as I have seen from different zeus videos. Anyways great video, I am entertained! I dropped a like.

I was kinda hoping to see the Mi-24's and wreck shit. fly in guns blazing rockets firing and just blow away a massive amount of hostiles as the Mi-8 comes in and rescues shermans friends. Was a little disappointed when it seemed that the Mi-24's didn't do much but sit there and get shot at

If you order an AI Jet to attack something as Zeus it will endlessly circle around it, if you assing a heli with a gunner controlling the gun in the turret atleast it can shoot (sometimes), so yea, if you want the AI to do something with those vehicles you either have to script is which is nigh impossible or you gotta take control yourself. thats why they put in the CAS scripts in.
Sorry I didn't mean to insult the work people put in this is a very cool mod, I guess when i saw the title I just got my hopes too high

I didn't take it that way, you can make amazing missions in this but it has it's limitations and you have to figure out how to do it and if it's worth the trouble or not.
Should had ended with a mass Mi-24 Air assault with T-72 counter attack and extraction cuz that would be one hell of an ending.
Sherm, when you're sending in rocket artillery, you should place a move marker and then double click it and set it to fire mission or whatever it's called, because the Ares one only lets the AI launch 5 rockets at a time. The regular arma fire mission launches a lot more.

SU-25 Gun is only for dogfighting or killing light tanks. The A10 is not the only plane that does CAS.
How did you get the su-25s in the Zeus menu for supports? Like gun runs and such. I can't seem to do that myself

Sherm you never say repeat last If you missunderstood something. You say Repeat or Repeat last if you want the artillery to repeat firing on the last coordinates. When you want someone to say something again, say: "Say again Last"

when you do the mortars do them more random and spread the time out, remember that mortars are fired one at a time at a maximum of like 2 ever 5 seconds maybe a bit faster
