I don't know if there's a reason not to do this, but if ever you want a bunch of soldiers hidden in a village, I think you can just spawn a fire team or squad and click garrison, or something to that effect

I have a rather unrealistic suggestion:
Is it possible to Zeus in a similar way like Wargame Red Dragon? Your mates know what the total enemy force is, and should be of equal strength (infantry / armour / air ...etc), but the deployment is up to you. You will try to be blind to friendly emplacements, and engage your mates with as much fog of war as possible.
I wonder if that would provide a more thriller, surprising, and engaging experience.
Do you guys ever plan on during an armor heavy op? Like multicrewed tanks and helos just going at it? That'd be insane.

Probably a dumb question, but how do you command units like that? Mod, AI settings, ext?
We have been having dsync and frame issues also. Arma itself has a bad issue right now and BI is working on a fix. Hopefully they will release 64bit soon and it will ease a lot of issues.

so sherm I feel like your being too soft on these guys if they have an objective to do make sure that they face the hardest guys possible and make them work there asses off to get that mission complete cause it would be really funny to watch them get mad and not manage to brake through a well defended line for like 15 minutes

+The Shermanator id love to see you punish the squads a little more. Like when you had the SVD watching them after the IED blast. You had a perfect opportunity to kill atleast 2-3 and you didn't.
Soviets would've just leveled that town with Mi-24s. Or BMPs.
Civilians were considered conspirators if they harbored the Dushman. Good video though, love Soviet-Afghan war stuff.

The Shermanator No problem. I'm not trying to be one of those guys that comments on literally everyone's channels trying to point out some silly flaws or things that don't really matter, but I'd figure I'd just let you know that in regard to how the Soviets treated the tribesmen and such.
From my understanding, while they didn't just straight up salt the earth and kill everyone they saw, it was on a real 'zero tolerance' policy on how the locals were treated. A town like that would've just been leveled with motorized troops, but say it's a town that's suspected of hosting Mujahideen (whether consensual or not), they'd give the elders an ultimatum, normally to leave their town in about an hour or so, then bulldoze the town and mine it so they wouldn't return.

Sherm, absolutely love your ZUES videos, but man.... for the love of all things, please fix the way you do indirect fire and IED placement. Ied's are not thrown obviously every time, most often than not, they are very well concealed. If they can see it and ident 300 meters away something is wrong. Same with indirect, it should act like indirect, it walks in and then it peppers out as you do it. But it's not random and then consistent in such a haphazard way. Awesome videos brother and I will watch them regardless of what you do man keep up the fantastic videos! -

Hey Sherman, here's one way to make it immersive.When you remote control, it seems like you're just scaring them and not actually trying to hit them.Please just directly shoot them, and put the skill level of the enemy infantry to somewhat medium or high, because the lower they get, the STUPIDER they get.
And try to set the mission before actually commencing the mission, because you rush and only put single units.Since these are PLAYERS, they got BRAINS.And try to give the enemy the equal amount of firepower or a bit more.Just to make it challenging.
The Shermanator but if you can't or won't do that, then np.You Zeusing this way makes it fun anyways to everyone (that watches)
