Republicans are slime. All they care about is their power, and if that means supporting an anti-democratic fraud and criminal authoritarian wannabe, than so be it. If we can get Dem majorities and governorships in more states, and they join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, that's probably the faster way to overcome the Electoral College versus a Constitutional amendment.
