When Bobby lashley debut in 2005 I was eight going on nine at the time his first wwe run was great he had great feuds with Booker t, jbl, big show, Mr McMahon, John Cena. In 2006 he won the united states championship and Ecw championship in the first ever extreme rules elimination chamber match 2007 was a good year for Bobby lashley til he got injured.
He hasn’t used his dominator finisher since 2007 and I loved his pyro

Lashley was my guy, they booked him well but maybe he would have been better if he had a few more months in development. But Lashley back then was my fave Smackdown guy on a Smackdown Roster that was pretty loaded at the top back in 2005-06

I watched WWE between 2002-2006, I started to see Bobby Lashley from about 2005, crazy to think 2005 is now 19 years ago and same year Eddie Guerrero (1967-2005) passed away.
It's crazy how Lashley is aimless right now. He's still one of the most over wrestlers despite his lack of momentum. They turned him face because fans refused to boo him. I think he would've benefitted from being on Raw in the world title mix feuding with Drew, Gunther, and Priest.
He should’ve won the world title instead of Seth tbh
He's hurt. They booked him against Kross to try and get Kross over. I say bring him back and send The Pride to Raw and build Bobby back up to win the wwe title

@@BigTrevo I know he's hurt, but when he's back he'd be a good fit for the brand. Also, it's never felt like WWE ever tries to help Kross get over. He's lost every single feud he's had since returning and he never gets reactions. Even in France, the crowd was dead for Kross compared to the rest of the show which shows how much people care for him.

I see so many people saying "it was too early for Lashley to win the world title". Keep this in mind though Brock Lesnar in his first run within less than half a year would win the WWE championship himself (from The Rock nonetheless). Yes he had Paul Heyman as his mouthpiece but if he was capable of winning the top prize in less time than most do then so was Lashley. I don't care how "green" Bobby was in the ring at the time he showed tremendous improvement over a short period of time which says to me that warrants a good enough reason to give him a chance just like they did with Lesnar. Just my thoughts on things.

Lashley initially did need more time to get used to WWE. The failure of WWE's ECW might've been blamed on Lashley as he was their champ though it was Vince's fault but trying to convince Vince is useless

No. He definitely wasn’t pushed too hard and too soon in his earlier days. That sounds like something someone would say to justify someone not getting awarded more push because apparently it was already enough or too much before. Objectively he wasn’t pushed too hard. He was pushed. You can’t use a guy of Lashley’s Stature and background like some kinda weak journeyman. His looks alone exceed that.
