I have a 1989 Ford f 150 and its a 4 wheel drive the speedometer gear is inside the transfer case and the old one is 6 tooth drive it like a turquoise color. I'm running 31 10.50 15 inch tires i need a replacement gear. Can you set me up with a replacement ASAP.
I have a 1980 Chevy C30 that needs a gear reduction, the box about the size of a zippo lighter, that screws inline from the trans to the speedometer cable. Would that be available? If so where? The trans is a manual 4spd .
Hello, I have a serious problem with my vehicle. I own Mahindra thar crde 4x4 2013 model. Very often I observe the speedometer gear is getting damaged (especially when I hit a pothole). This is my 5th time I am replacing the gear. It’s 17 teeth model. I really don’t understand the root cause. I would be very grateful to you if you have an answer for this. Thanks in advance
I looked for your calculator and I can't find it Can you help me out. My speedometer is off 10-15 mph when it says 60mph it's really 45 do I go up in number on gear or down. This is on a 68 corvette with 427/th350 trans and tires are 255/60/15
So I just got a 1997 ford f150 2WD the tires are one size bigger and the speedo reads 4.5 mph slower than the truck is really going, I take it my speedo gear will need to be 2 teeth smaller to speed it up to 5 mph more at least that is closer than 5 mph off, I pulled it out and its 21T looks like I need a 19T to fix my problem. Dam I'm smart. thanks guys.
Could you please tell me I have a 700r4 with a 45 driven gear and a 17 drive gear the speedo is off 15 MPH if Im doing 25 MPH the speedo reads 40 and the faster a go the more off it is I maximized the driven gear is 45 I need to know what drive gear I need ,I now every tooth on driven gear gives 2 1/2 MPH Need to know what a extra tooth would give on drive gear
You are absolutely wrong on the drive gear on fords,my 89 f150 i just changed mine,took all of 20 minutes...and ford has 5 speedometer gears ti choose from with each gear having about a mph diff
