I have never doubted the shroud, the evidence has always been overwhelming, but it’s just now becoming public!
The only piece pf evidence disproving the shroud was the carbon dating. We now know that the pieces used were cut from a 12th/13th century repair which matches the dating. I'm willing to bet my life that was purposeful. A witness testifies to 2 men instructimg where to cut. I have np doubt this is evidence of a resurrected Christ. I thought that Christianity was a joke before I found out about the shroud. Since then, I've met Jesus. Laugh all you want. It's true. The love I experienced shook me to the core. I am forever changed. Its the ONLY peace and happiness I've ever known. Anyone reading this who is curious, PLEASE,just talk to him. He'll show up. You'll see.

This is clearly a man and also clearly God. The Shroud is a witness to the marriage of the two. The two became one. Hence the first thing we will all do is join in the wedding feast of the Lamb. He rescued humanity by becoming one with us. The Shroud captures this and proves both the death and resurrection.

I can't begin to tell you how weird and confused I feel right now. I was raised as a Catholic but never truly believed and I rejected it from an early age. I've always believed that Jesus was a real historical figure, but the rest of it? Believe what you will. However... I've been watching a lot of videos about the shroud and I'm more convinced than ever that this is not a man-made artifact, in the sense that it's an artistic representation of Jesus' body. So if not, what is it? It appears to be a genuine representation of his body, with all the wounds he suffered. And if that's the case... well, how? For the first time in my life I'm beginning to be persuaded that there's something in all of this and I'm feeling my resistance to believing crumbling. I haven't yet wholly coverted but this presentation has convinced me to consider that for all these years I may have been wrong, and that I should reconsider my rejection of what I was taught. Maybe not the Catholic version but that I shouldn't dismiss out of hand as I have for so many years.

I Too have had my atheism crumble around the mystery of the shroud. I'm a very analytical armchair scientists (i love my physics) and dismiss religion out of hand, and always will when it comes to churches. But this shroud is proof of something more than what the 5 senses tells us about our reality. I Have no doubt that we continue on after this life, wither it can be proved scientifically or not, but this shroud may be the holiest of all holy's.

I can hardly wait to meet my lord and savior for the first time face to face! I’ve got so many questions to ask him , so many things I want to ask him why you created this or that. I have so many things I’d love to sit down and talk to my lord and savior about that it’s hard to express or put into words. I’m an old man now but can clearly remember the first time I ever saw the shroud for the first time, I instantly knew I was looking at the resurrected image of my lord and savior’s holy body. What a truly wonderful and amazing God we serve. He is worthy to be praised by each of us for all of eternity.

There is another video out there where they have identified the coins on his eyes on the shroud as being from that right period and the crown of thorns they have identified on the shroud as a tree/ Bush that only grows in that region, they have ex Rayed the shroud and can easily see the above and more and even the shape of the pieces of lead embedded in the scourge and much more than this video shows.

It is periodically displayed, it has been exposed to many hands and eyes and more sciencing than any other artifact in history. It's only a hundred years or so since it was first photographed, kicking off the intensive study of it. If it had already turned to dust, we'd have little to examine. If it is genuine, its a 2000 year old piece of linen, and it is wearing out. You disliking the Church, and them protecting it is not proof of anything you're saying. Another thought, John would simply have seen the collapsed cloth. He would not have seen the image as it would not have been visible on the top of the cloth.
Perhaps some unknown entity folded the cloth so that only the facial image was visible. . . . .

I read somewhere that physicists who examined the image said this negative image could only have been by very intense light radiation, which raises its own scientific questions. It certainly disproves the painting theory. Even with current technology, we don’t have the ability to create this kind of light intensity, let alone people in Jesus’ time or the Middle Ages. If you think the intense light theory sounds crazy, here’s an example of the possibility. When the atomic bombs were dropped in Japan, the intense light and radiation from them “burned” shadows of the fallen victims near the blast zones into the existing concrete by bleaching the surrounding area around the people and objects.
Why is it that the frontal image is as if the shroud was suspended in a flat plane above the body rather than naturally draped over the body??
The use of the word "mystery" is apt because humanity's knowledge of God is incomplete. Faith is the gift from God that enables belief in the mysterious redemption wrought by Jesus. Catholics understand that God is beyond human intelligence, however God's kindness is manifest in many miraculous events. The shroud demonstrates God's grace to irreverent and doubting souls. Very good presentation. The only thing he gets wrong is the fact that the crucifixion took place on Wednesday, not Friday. There were several "sabbaths" that week due to the Feast, so the crucifixion of Jesus WAS a hurried event - just not the way the Roman Catholic Church would have us believe. Crucifixion took place on Friday. Jesus died with only a couple hours to go before sabbath started, which was sundown on Friday evening, n lasts till sundown on Saturday evening. That's why they rushed to get him into the tomb, but didn't have enough time to prepare his body for burial, n had to wait till after the sabbath to prepare his body, properly. Which is why the women came back on Sunday to do that, but discovered his body was not in the tomb. The Bible says all of this, n then of course that He rose on the 3rd day, which Sunday would be, when counting the day of his crucifixion as day one, which they did. Idk why this guy says he was crucified on Thursday, but it was a Friday, n he rose on Sunday, which is why Easter is always on the Sunday after good Friday.
John also mentions that Jesus was crucified on “the day of Preparation” (John 19:31), that is, the Friday before the Sabbath of Passover week (Mark 15:42). The night before, on Thursday evening, Jesus ate a Passover meal with the Twelve (Mark 14:12), his “Last Supper.”
I was about to click the "like" button on this video. However, I noticed that the counter says "777". This is the number of G_d. I don't know how long the counter was left at "777". Jewish calendars are (for days and nights) evening to evening.
When we have (say pick Tuesday) we say that Wednesday begins at midnight. To the Jew a new day is at sunset, so their Wednesday begins on Tuesday at sunset.
If the sign was the sign of Jonah with 3 literal nights and days Jonah was in the belly of the beast, 72 hours. He was in the grave the same time.
If we know he arose before Sunday, (remembering to a Jew, Sunday would begin at sunset on Saturday) and he arose during the day Saturday, we can count BACKWARDS evening to evening in the Jewish custom...
Saturday evening to Friday evening is ONE 24 HOUR DAY.
Friday evening to Thursday evening is ONE 24 HOUR DAY.
Thursday evening to Wednesday evening is ONE 24 HOUR DAY.
Three whole days, 24 hours evening to morning.
This means he would have been tried, scourged, condemned Wednesday during the day and buried BEFORE nightfall that day of the High Sabbath.
That is exactly 3 days and nights, 72 your (as I said) and rose sometime after nightfall on our Saturday night (remember the Jewish day begins at sunset). So he arose alive and glorified Saturday evening (or the Jewish Sunday, the first day of the week).
The whole He died and was buried and arose Sunday is a mistake, That isn't 3 whole days and 3 whole nights.
The blood on the shroud is the same as every Eucharistic miracle from 700 on to today.
The photo negative shows the clearest picture of His face. Isn't that swelling on the left eye and a cut on the right corner of the mouth? If that is the Savior, the folded linen napkin may be seen from the top of His head along the sides of His face. However, blessed are the ones who believed without seeing.

It is probable that the women were not all staying at the same place during the Passover and came from different directions to the tomb.
I think this is very important of all to know. The shroud is ‘also' proving things no one is looking for and here is a good example.
Matthew 12:40 “For just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale three days and three nights, in like manner the Son of man shall be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights.”
Those are Jesus words and the only way for him to not be a liar, is to have been crucified on a Wednesday. What is more, the video also mentions with the name was also the date, 16th. Now, the precise date can be determined. I believe you will find in the week of the crucifixion, there was a special sabbath on Thursday. This is why the urgency to bury Christ before 6pm.
Jesus is perfection and He is the living truth. Here he would say people, do the math!

Jesus dies at the 9th hour of the day or 3pm. Again, because of the special sabbath, he was buried before 6pm. If this was Friday, as most all Christians believe, than 24 hours later it was
Saturday at 6pm and because the Bible tells us that the women arrived at the tomb before sunrise we can conclude Jesus was risen from the grave by 6pm. At 6pm it would have been 72 hours.
In the original video - the narrator tells that photographic imagine of the resurrection needed 72 hours. As to the technical explanation - go find the original about an 1.5 hours long.
Jesus was crucified on a Wednesday and just as he predicted with his analogy of Jonah, he was in the earth for 3 days and 3 nights for a total of 72 hours.
Think about the time this way as well - Jesus is buried at the beginning of a ’special’ sabbath. That most certainly was a ’special’ day. Then 3 days and 3 nights (72 hours) passes and he is risen at the end of a sabbath as Lord of the Sabbath.

And how come it's all.. you know... 'weird'..? It doesn't look right; the bits that should be light are dark... and the shadows are all in the wrong way....
FORGER: Oh no... I've got that right. The Special Image-Making Machine That No-one Else Around This Time Has Got does that... It makes things go back to front. Yeah. People will understand that. Makes it look all mysterious and magical and special and miracle-y. People are stupid; they'll believe anything.

And that's how you fake a Shroud of Turin. Yeah. That's how it all happened, folks. Simple as that.

And thinking themselves wise, they become foolish. Jesus ROSE FROM THE DEAD, leaving his image on the Shroud, so we would ALL know the Gospels are true. The number of angels seen by the witnesses can be different, even if all four angels are there. Angels decide whether they will be seen, and by whom. It's not necessary to torture this small detail with circuitous explanations. The explanation is right in front of us on the Shroud.

Russ says that the last thing that Jesus wore was the linen Shroud. So when Jesus re-appeared he was nude? I don't think so.

If the shroud is genuine, then it does in fact contain blood from The LORD. This requires no further conjecture, such as Joseph of Arimathea somehow having a dish from the last supper, and catching blood from the cross ( or later I suppose), or the Magdalene secretly, but for some gnostic types 👆,bearing children for Jesus.

Russ is not telling us what the Gospels say correctly. Jesus did NOT say, "The only sign that you are going to get is my death and resurrection." Jesus absolutely did not say that.
What he did say is:
1. This generation (meaning first century Isreal) will most definitly NOT receive a sign from heaven. Mark 8
2. The ONLY sign that "this generation" will receive is the sign of my ministry, and he called this sign the Sign of Jonah. Luke 11
When Russ tries to say that the the sign of Jonah is the resurrection, he is repeating what the church fathers concluded over a thousand years ago. In the 20th century archaeological evidence has been brought forth which allows us to have a better understanding of what the sign of Jonah in Matthew 12 really is.
In Matt 12 Jesus defines the Sign of Jonah by way of a prediction that his burial would be for a duration of less than 72 hours. His did not designate this sign of Jonah to first century Israel, but, instead, left the door open as to the era by using the words, "An evil and unfaithful generation." Is this evil and unfaithful generation that of the 20th century?
In that century the Shroud was photographed, and these photos allowed forensic scientists to reach the conclusion that the Jesus' corpse was still in a state of rigor mortis and showed no signs of decay when the images were recorded. Normally, a burial cloth is damaged and eventually destoyed by the decompositon of the body it envelopes, but that did not happen to the Shroud. Therefore, it had to have been removed soon after death. We know that the Shroud was removed from the body by non-mechanical means. It was not torn off as attested by the undamaged linen fibers and the undisturbed blood stains. And, if Jesus body had been carried away to some other tomb, the Shroud would have needed to be also removed, according to Jewish law. But that did not happen. The only conclusion possible under these circumstances is that Jesus' burial ended in less that 72 hours after his internent, and this conclusion is proven by the images and evidence on the Shroud. Therefore, the Holy Shroud with its blood and images is the Sign of Jonah because it validates Jesus' prophecy of a less than 72 hour burial.
Russ is wrong when he says that the Resurrection was the Sign of Jonah in the first century.
1. The Sign of Jonah was supposed to be for a "generation," which in that time would have meant at most of the adult population of Israel. But Jesus appeared in resurrection to less that 1000 people according to St. Paul.
2. Jesus' resurrection was a miracle, but in Mark 8 Jesus said that no sign from heaven would be given to first century Israel. Therefore, the resurrection cannot be a sign from heaven given to Israel.
3. In luke 11 Jesus defined his ministry as the Sign of Jonah, and he stated that it was the only sign that first century Israel would receive. Therefore, the resurrection cannot be the Sign of Jonah for first century Israel.

Ludicrous. Christ was buried in at least 3 linen clothes, not one, and thereby, this worshiped cloth is not of Jesus Christ. See Jn.20:5-7. If you contend with Holy Scripture, you then are contending with God who gave it to us. This is most serious being, adding to or taking away from the Word of God given us brings on God's wrath as in Rev.22:18,19. By claiming this shroud is imprinted with the image of Jesus Christ all the while the Holy Scripture gives us undeniable evidence it is not the image of Jesus Christ, then you are calling God a liar... those who are redeemed of Christ believe His Word, and believing His Word is a test of salvation, as in Jn.8:43 and 44 and 10:26,27, for example.

The unbelievers can not possibly know that Christ is raised from the dead simply because the Witness, the Holy Spirit of God, does not indwell them verifying the truth of the Holy Scripture to them. The Sudarium was the cloth used to cover Jesus' face immediately after his death. It was removed at burial. The images on the Holy Shroud prove that Jesus was a person who actually existed.
