I went to see it at the cathedral of san Giovanni Battista in Torino, Italy. We couldn’t see it but The experience was an unforgettable sublime gift. The energy coming from that place was so strong, I’ve never experienced the presence of God as strongly as there. The wave was so strong I couldn’t stop shacking and crying even after leaving. Even if not knowing the science, there’s no doubt. You can feel it. Thank you My Love, My Lord.
The mind can do so many things to us physically --like cause heart attacks for example. You should read up on that, as opposed to only believing in one reason for your experience. Understand, i'm not saying your experience was not due to what you feel it to be, only that there may be other reasons. In other words, never allow yourself to be fooled or deceived.

The Shroud is the only witness to the resurrection of Jesus Christ and is a presious miracle and last gift that he left for us who believe in him without doubt... it is his proof that he told us The truth about everything and his promise that he is going to come back!
The most important witnesses are those of the Gospels and St. Paul's letter to the Corinthians . That is not questioning the value of the Shroud and the Facecloth.

Question, why do you believe that you are better informed than the actual Vicar of Christ?
There is no carbon dating evidence that dates the shroud to the early first century.
There is no unbroken chain of custody back to the body of a Jesus Christ.
Perhaps most importantly there is no DNA consistent with an immaculately conceived human male.
The Pope is many things but he is no fool, he knows that an all powerful god could have easily preserved this evidence, so without it the shroud will always be an icon not a relic.
The shroud is no witness at all, 🤦 It's a deception.
The real witness is the Holy Spirit that changed us when we believed. While we were living in sin, the Holy spirit convicted us and made us right with God. If this did not happen to you, then ur not born again.

Father Spitzer is one of my favorite Shroud experts and lecturers. He is so passionate. As a Shroud-a-Holic, this was amazing to hear, and without a doubt proves the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ (Yeshua). Just think, one forty-billionth of a second of a burst of radiation, that alone is incomprehensible to fathom by the human mind. Hopefully more people will come to believe.

Yes the Shroud od Turin is authentic. I have done years of research on this and a few public presentations in France and in Canada. BUT this is not enough... The real question is : are we faithfull to Christ and to the commands of God by doing His will in our daily life as Jesus teaches us ? Jesus asks us to "wash our garment !" Are we doing it ?
Teachings of today hardly ever mention this and therefore the people have become lost and drown in terrible sin. We have to wash our garment ... That is, our soul (toughts, feelings, desires), words and actions. Glory to God who gives wisdom and understanding to those who seek and REALLY desire purity and good will. Thank you. And the Peace of Christ fill your heart and soul, now and always.

If this were an unbiased criminal court examining this evidence, it would most certainly be deemed His burial shroud beyond a doubt.
As a fairly new Christian, God gave me an utterly glorious vision in connection to the shroud. It was totally unexpected and unknown to me, directly Scriptual.
A modern court would require DNA evidence. So all you have to do now is to find a family member of Jesus for comparison and useful DNA on the shroud. ;-)

There was a dunamus light flash at the point of resurrection. I published a book for Dr William D Black, with Red Horseshoe Books. "Bible Studies about Jesus' Crucifixion and Resurrection" I wanted to put a picture of the tomb with a bright flash that I think happened at that moment. Dr Black thought that flash was not proven by scripture so he asked me to please leave the tomb dark. I had always thought the flash was obvious. So good to hear your explanation.

The image was NOT made by direct contact with the body, as many people believe. It has the distances between anatomical parts the occur through photography. If the image had been made by direct contact, the image would be distorted. To me, it's a true miracle.

Anyone who has ever tried to dye plant fibers, cotton, linen, thistle fiber, etc, can easily understand that this is a miracle. I have tried numerous ways to dye plant fiber without multistage mordent process, and it just washes out to white, and even fades away to white without washing. The Shroud image is a miracle, plain and simple. I have no doubt it's the burial cloth of Jesus Christ.

Divine energies, the uncreated light. Saints are depicted with a halo for a reason. They radiate the uncreated light sometimes too. Many people have witnessed holy people shining light from their faces and doing miracles. It’s all real. And too much holiness at once kills most of us because we are sinners. Death by holiness happened many times. When the bleeding woman touched our Lords garments He felt she took some of His energy but because of her faith she was healed. We’ll all be confronted by God’s holiness when we die. So it’s wise to try to become as holy as possible and pray that God’s grace will help us do that.

Many years ago I had an old Catholic Encyopedia that went back to the early 1900s where it was written that the Shroud was a fabication. That was a few years after Pio took the first photographs. Times have changed.

My question is? Is it possible today to take a photo of any other negative image like the shroud with old technology camera they used back in -800AD and get a positive detail image as the shroud? Using if you take a picture you get what you see, right? Back then i imaged from experience he expected to see a photo of the same as he saw, right or wrong?
We are doing a symposium at our church - on the SOT for Easter this year. Life-size replica and props for visuals. We keep hearing ... your not Catholic why? Folks, this is not a catholic or protestant thing! It is related to a "fingerprint" of the resurrection of Jesus - it is related to the testimony of Christianity and the power of Christ to defeat death for ma kind. We in turn reap the benefit of salvation, mercy and grace for accepting his sacrifice for our sinful nature's. He came, died and rose from the dead to give us (messed up and sinful) eternal life. Choose life, choose Christ - he died for us, so I can live for him.
I think it's wonderful that your church is doing that. I'm Catholic and I don't think it's weird that other Christians love to contemplate and are inspired by the holy shroud.
It comes down to either believing that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior or not. He is leaving this proof for those who need a physical object as in "doubting Thomas" because God is not willing that any should perish.
MY freind I was listening another Catholic shroud man and he spoke about the Dual superality of the image of the shroud. He talked about the image that is on the back and the front without a bleed through. He said they observed it the first time they removed the backing cloth they sowed on the shroud to protect it. Is this correct or not?

I wonder if it would be possible to test the sticky tapes for the Cosmic Isotopes . Perhaps this would be easier to gain permission to test because it would not be invasive at all on the Shroud.
The problem I have wtih Ray Rogers conclusion that the cotton was from a later dated sewn on side-strip by nuns is that Rogers was not the first person to discover that cotton was in the Shroud. Nor did Rogers have the ability to compare the Shroud sample with a non-controversial area. Professer Gilbert Raes, the same person named for the adjacent Raes sample confirmed years earlier that there also was cotton in his sample. Rogers apparently didn't know this because he seemed surprised to find cotten after Barrie Schowrtz challenged Rogers to take another look at the fibers. Professer Raes speculated that the loom used for the Shroud was previously used to make cotton fabrics. Hence the cotton became mixed with the linen Shroud. Which theory is correct? Did the cotton come from a side-strip sewn by the Poor Clare Nuns in the 15th century or was the cotton mixed from a loom previously used to make cotten fabric?
This is uncertain. However, some argue that the early Jews were not allowed to mix different fabrics on their looms as it was against their laws. On the other hand, how reliable is the proof that the Poor Clare Nuns actually used Frence re-weaving to sew on a side-strip? Source: "Verdict on the Shroud" by Stevenson and Habermas (1981).
Which side of His heart was pierced. Which side please! I want to know. When we look at a crucifix.... which side should we see the wound?

While this analysis is rather heady, it doesn't take a genius to understand that something otherwordly happened in the tomb. Never fails to amaze me how many people wont even consider the evidence before saying the shroud or any other relic is a hoax. That is the epitome of ignorence. The shroud is one more item requiring faith. A real Jesus should silence the skeptics.
Here's one thing I never hear addressed: when emphasizing that the nail placement is authentic to how crucifixions were done (e.g., not through the palms), believers never then admit that all hand palm stigmatas, by the same reasoning, must have been fake!
God made those "fake" stigmata in the hands of the saints in order to creat a contrast between medieval perceptions of Jesus' wounds and what is depicted on the Shroud. As a result, no one can accuse the images on the Shroud as being based on the stigmata of any person. Sir, by your own words, the Shroud is authentic.
If the 1988 carbon dating has been debunked, why has there not been an effort to do a new carbon dating?
I think there has been? But there have been other, peer reviewed and accurate dating tests done that independently disprove the 1998 test.
Something Christ said alludes to "holographic universe theory." He said "I am in my father and He is in me, and I am in you." When encoding a 3D image onto holographic film (which is a near to 2D as we can get), the image is encoded with the same Fourier transforms/ mathematics with which our brains use to interpret sensory information. Also, if you split the film into 2 or 2 million pieces, each piece will contain the WHOLE image. In our case, the image of God.
Now think of the shroud. The 3D image is encoded onto only a very thin layer of fibers. A HOLOGRAPHIC IMAGE on a near 2D "film."
