I’ve been researching pellets for months. Got a Gamo whisper fusion Mach 1 before I started on my quest for pellets. Had some Daisy pellets laying around. Tried them out and they are hitting everything but the target. I know it’s not me. Got the Sharpshooter rating in boot camp. I’m new to pellet rifles. So my questions are: 1). About how many rounds to break it in? 2). Without worrying about costs, what’s the best pellet to use for skunks, raccoons, rabbits, etc.?
@@badkarma6181 your first question about break in time varies. It could be 100 pellets or 500. Just keep checking your stock screws periodically during break in. Loose screws will ruin your accuracy. Second question….I like Barracuda Hunter pellets for popping anything from squirrels to foxes. The energy dump is impressive. I hope your gun digests them well. Try some JSB pellets too..most rifles like them. They’re a bit soft but accurate. Hope this helps.

Have you tried the gamo red flight penetrator on this gun? That round really hits hard with my Hatsan 135.

Try the Crosman Premiere pointed pellets they are the same grain as the hollow point pellets.
