    I just bought mine from academy.. paid $243 after taxes that was on the high side as far as price but it was the best rifle in the store. We haven't had good weather here in Texas so I have only gotten to shoot it once. Thanks for the videos and reviews.. keep them coming bro.

    I bought the same rifle about two weeks ago. I have it sighted in with Crossman Priemer Pointed Pellets. It was already dead on with the open sights around 41 yards. I mounted the 3x9x40 scope that came with it and have it holding quarter sized groups at the same distance. I was shooting pine cones out of the tree next to my house. I agree with you on the stiffness of the piston. I usually switch arms for cocking to keep from having a sore arm. The recoil doesn't bother me because I hunt with a 7mm Remington Magnum that kicks a lot harder. I love the air rifle and am working with my daughter's teaching them how to shoot safely. This should make a good squirrel rifle.

    I'm back after my CZcams attack, lol. I've been thinking very seriously about getting this air rifle. It seems to be right on the edge of a super magnum break barrel air rifle, that still has super great accuracy at a great price. I also have been searching for old Diana 34 air rifles but they are very hard to find and I believe the price range is very high for a lot of these old used rifles. I do have several high-end spring piston air rifles like the HW77, HW80, and HW95 Luxus, but I really like the idea of having a air rifle that I'm not worried about getting scratched if you know what I mean, lol. I really appreciate your videos and I am working very hard to try to find all my channels that were lost during my CZcams beat down, lol.

    I have one but only shot it at 16yds where it made ragged tears with JSB Exact 15.89gr domed pellets. It did very well with Crossman Premiere HP 14.3gr, again at 16yds. I went to 20.5yd for offhand 1.75" spinners and found you had to be steady, deliberate on the trigger or you miss. Once I got the feel I could hit the spinners(hard) regularly.

  • @casualcarolinafishing5835

    H&N Baracuda Hunter Extreme .22 18.52gr pellets shot pretty well through mine @35 yards on my first day out looking for a pellet that shot well through it. I had two types of Gamo pellets that were horrible. All over the place, but once I started shooting those Baracuda Hunter Extreme's I was getting a nice tight group when I didn't shake too bad on the shot. I will take a table, chair, beanbag and pillow next time to make sure my bracing is more stable. I think you just have to keep trying different pellets until you find the one that shoots best through your barrel. Keep hunting, you'll find one that's nice and tight for you. The Gamo Hunter Impact .22 15.42gr were fairly decent in my rifle too. Had a few more fliers than the H&N pellets though.

  • @detrick707
    @detrick707 Před rokem +1

    I don't know if anyone noticed the Mach 1's design change after they changed the FPS claim from 1020 to 1100. there was also a power upgrade. The second version has a different barrel and iron sights. Someone should test the .22 1100 claimed crony numbers at sea level because the only ones I see is at least a thousand feet above sea level and it makes a difference. Same for the 177 I've had it for like a month now and I have the upgraded version with the slightly thicker Barrel. I think the 177 got the power upgrade as well because mine is strong like really strong.

    I do like your reviews but man a few things. Just because it is more powerful doesn’t mean THE GUN is less accurate. That isn’t true as I’ve seen other reviews and the gun drives tacks. The truth is that a magnum break barrel requires more skills from the shooter to live to it’s potential. No offense but these results are on you not the rifle. Go look at stko channel shooting this gun or airgun detectives.
