All-on-4 would remove my bone, so I chose 3 on 6™ dental implant bridges with Smile Clinic

  • As a business leader and executive, Cole was concerned as a degenerative bone issue began wreaking havoc on his teeth. Over the years he tried lots of different solutions to patch it together, but over time they began to fail. Cole wanted a permanent solution. He thought he would have to go with the All-on-4 and have his bone removed until he came across the 3 on 6™. Cole asked multiple dentists about the procedure and they thought it was too difficult to do. Cole came to Smile Clinic in Utah and met with Dr. Randy Roberts who assured him that he was a great candidate for the 3 on 6™ procedure. With that, Cole put his faith in Dr. Roberts and scheduled surgery. Cole is glad he didn't listen to the other dentists who were intimidated by the treatment. He is completely satisfied with his experience at Smile Clinic and with Dr. Roberts and recommends the 3 on 6™ procedure to others pursuing a permanent solution to their teeth problems.

    Those look so natural and beautiful, I just had to get on antibiotics again for multiple abscesses in my mouth from my regular doctor because my face and tongue was swollen and painful with ear pain. After 3 days it’s just now feeling a little better, still have 7 more days on antibiotics, I know this will happen again until I get the infected teeth removed. It’s so frustrating and feeling overwhelmed with how to change my situation. Today has been a little difficult with it being Memorial Day weekend and all my friends are going to the lake, and my daughter is with her dad for the weekend I feel so isolated with a mouth full of broken abscessed teeth. I’m sure there are several ppl that can relate to these feelings. As a nurse, I can remember ppl telling me about so many different types of pain over the years and I truly can say I couldn’t relate to what they were going through even though I felt compassion for what they were experiencing, it wasn’t until I had a injury that completely changed everything about my life during the pandemic, that changed my perspective of how they felt and that I could relate to what they were telling me over the years of listening and not getting what they were experiencing until it happened to myself. It’s definitely a humbling place you get to and this is how anyone with dental issues can relate to the pain, isolation depression and this feeling of defeat. I know the dentist and staff have so much compassion and see patients in this situation often, but they can’t truly know what it feels like to be in this situation unless you’ve experienced it yourself. I still try to wrap my head around all the years listening to patients tell me about their pain that I truly couldn’t imagine what they were going through until I experienced a similar situation that I now understand what they were experiencing. I don’t usually vent any personal issues on CZcams or social media, but I know there are many ppl that feel as I do. I just wish there were more resources available for these life changing procedures that most cannot afford.

    The unnecessary removal of (jaw)bone and soft tissue should be a crime. Notice how every practitioner of all-on-4 procedures downplays that part of the process and glosses over it by using the term "contouring". 3 on 6, IMHO is a big improvement so in that regard I'll give Randy Roberts a thumbs up. At the same time, I don't think it's right to proclaim being the inventor or developer of the procedure and then get it trademarked and basically sell it as a franchise to other clinicians around the country. I'm sorry, there's something questionable going on with that and this video is a marketing tool for Smile Clinic. He's managed to make it just slightly more affordable than an All-on-4 procedure. I say, We the people need to be better at advocating for ourselves and demanding better, more cost effective solutions for full arch restorations.

      I'm in Australia, The all on 4 isn't that good, I do prefer the 3 on 6 as it looks more comfortable, natural looking and creates a more better looking smile,I wish that I could get the 3 on 6 in Australia.

      @@dannypeters8126 I recommend watching Dr. David McFadden speaking about implant bridges. If we can about the procedures that are being sold to us as the only options, I'm pretty certain there are skilled prosthodontists in Australia that can perform the restoration that you need, without the need to call it something like a 3 on 6; that's just "productization" by and for the benefit of the global dental industry. The clinicians aren't necessarily the bad guys here, it's the educational system coupled with greedy business practices. Best of luck in your search !

      The 3 on 6 has already brought down the cost of a permanent full mouth teeth replacement significantly. Unfortunately there are a lot of fixed costs out of our control like anesthesia, implants, zirconia, wages, etc. If you'd like to learn about the payment plans we help patients with please call us at 801-590-8694

      Only the poor suffer. I'm on SSI/DI w/ heart disease & even with a 640 credit score, I was denied with having zero debt. I now have a Cigna Advantage Plan that covers $0 co-pay for extractions & $20k a year in dental, including prosthetics, etc. But I don't believe they'll cover this. I need 21 extractions. My teeth started breaking off at the gum line in my 30s. I'm now in my 50s & haven't smiled since the 8th grade, literally! I'd give a leg to have this done, seriously! However, I always get denied. $35k in Houston is the cheapest I found near me. But, that was for All on 4 which they remove so much bone for that procedure. Maybe 1 day I'll hit the lottery 🤟

      They offer financing help and there are great costs to these dentists who studied for many years in dental school and had years of internship to be able to gain expertise in their field. Make this a life goal ♥️

      The 3 on 6 starts at around $20k per arch or $40k for a full mouth. With good credit treatment can be about the cost of a car payment. Please call us at 801-590-8694

    With your 3 on 6 technique are there any gum problems that I need to worry about down the road? Will food particles build up between the implant and gums? What are the "Cons" of this process?

    • @smileclinicusa
      @smileclinicusa  Před 9 měsíci +4

      Just like regular teeth, food particles can build up if you don't brush and floss. The risks are the same as any other implant procedure, only that with the 3 on 6 it is easier to keep clean and free from infection and cheaper to replace if there is a complication.

    why does it have to be 3 separate bridges instead of just 1 bridge which would be stronger?

    • @smileclinicusa
      @smileclinicusa  Před 28 dny +2

      That's a great question!
      Research and common sense demonstrate that the shorter the length of a bridge, the harder it is to break, much like a pencil - instagram.com/p/Cv2bkp2yrdG/. Having segmented bridges as opposed to a single bridges also allows for more stimulation on each implant, which helps prevent bone loss.
      You can read more about the benefits of segmented bridges here - www.3on6.com/post/benefits-of-segmented-bridges-in-reversing-bone-loss.
