After watching the last episode, my mind kept telling me that I need to make a video for Han Seo (who I never planned on making a video for). I still can't get over the ending, and it's the first time for me to cry while making a fmv because that was what I was afraid of! Why it had to be him? He was the most one who suffered a lot in this drama and in the end he got killed?!
I didn't know that he would be one of my fav characters when I first watched the drama; at first I sympathized with him and felt sorry for how he was being treated. But now I think that I loved Han Seo as much as I loved Vincenzo. So I put all of my effort in this fmv and that's why I'm late lol because I used so many clips in it. Also I feel proud to finally be able to make a video on this song because that's was something I wished to do and saw how great edits with this song are. Anyway, hope I can deliver what I felt while watching the adorable Han Seo.
+one more thing, my laptop is kinda damaged right now 😅 and I was afraid that it'll shut down and never turn on again deleting everything including this video. So unfortunately, I now don't know when I'll be able to make videos again but hopefully it's going to be figured out soon.

Since they didn't do justice for HanSeo, it's up for the fans to do so... so here is mine...
I like to imagine that he had quite a small funeral, perhaps away from any tabloids or any unwanted attention.
And that after that year that passed, when Vincenzo finally comes back for a little while, the very first place he visits is where his little brother is now resting... with a picture of him smiling bright and carefree.
Only to leave his trademark behind, - a golden lighter - as a token of their unfinished promise and for the sacrifice that he will always hold in his mind and heart.
For the atonement the younger faced in his last decision to turn that gun around to him and not into the air, and to take that final bullet of redemption.
For his sins, for his freedom.
To save lives at the risk of his own.
Because HanSeo did not die in vain, only to be forgotten. He died, protecting his Vinnie hyung.
That was also one of the things that made me not very satisfied with the ending, that they didn't show enough grief scenes for his death. It would have been better if he had survived and surprised us by visiting his hyung in Malta.

His death ruined the enjoyment of the last episode and mainly on how it was handled, sure it seemed that it was bound to happen but it was poorly written for such a development of character as he had in previous episodes. If Babel had to fall, it didn't meant he had to die. And even if he did, it could have been better than that ending where he sacrifices for them and fights alone against his psycho brother and with Vin only caring about his "girl"- HanSeo's sacrifice would be more meaningful if he saved Vincenzo as he fought alongside him or got caught in crossfire in it. Still, it would be even better if had survived and showed up to visit his hyung as you've mentioned. However, since the drama was bad at making a final scene for him, I pictured like this instead. Also great editing, I really like your video :')
@@MaikoSeikaRIN Yes Vincenzo pissed me off when he didn't run to him quickly even when he was shot and was with Cha Young even though her injury wasn't that bad, I honestly thought that I was the only one who thought about that at this moment. The way that you pictured the ending was realistic too, at least give him the credit that he deserved.

you know what hurts the most is that HanSeo just wanted to be appreciated, to feel like he made someone proud. the man went through years of emotional and physical torment from someone who was supposed to look out for him, and he never really got to experience the concept of family or the overwhelming satisfaction of truly making someone proud of who you are, someone who doesn't make you feel useless even when you did your best to help, he didn't get that clarity until his last moments.

Han Seo was by far my favourite character from the show, I cried so much when they killed him off. I know that he didn't die in vain and I am happy he was able to finally feel loved by someone he looked up to after all that he went through, but was it necessary? Although Vincenzo did care..I wish he was hurt more by what happened to Han Seo..I know he was, but at the time he was so focused with Hong Cha Young and took his time to run towards Han Seo. If that hadn't happened would he have lived? I mean it's so sad that he was tortured by his brother his whole life for no reason and then when he finally began to be happy..was killed off. The fact that they completely pushed him away after his death as if nothing had happened was annoying as well, I know they had loads of stuff to put in but could they have not given him a better fare well? He deserved a funeral, It doesn't matter if it was a big one or not. In spite to all that though I just want to think positively and believe the character is at peace in heaven :))

But I realized that the actor, Ok Taecyeon gave a powerful performance as the psycho villain who met a dramatic end.

I still.....can't get over it....cuz i have been in his place, I was being used constantly no matter what. I too had been hit and scolded like him....but their way.....He didn't deserve death. And the fact that he didn't get justice yet, and felt at ease only for a short time while being with Vinnie...hurts the most.

I see many people saying that hanseo shouldn't have died. Although vincenzo was a total jerk for leaving hanseo alone and not helping him, I think somewhere, even if it was not proper justice for hanseo's character, who had been suffering from the start, it was necessary for him to die at the end. To show that he was not a scared and weak person who ran away from his problems, but a fighter till the end who gave his life for the good. That even after suffering so much, he always had a heart of gold. He was the true image of innocence and loyalty. And it was also a very neccessary part for the storyline. But I strongly agree that they should have shown a funeral or some other scene for him at the end and not left him there like that.
We can think of this as the positive/moral side of his story but still... In my opinion, it would've been better if he had survived after getting shot, maybe getting an emergency surgery or something to save him something like that.
