Despite me wanting to get modern armour, Gaijin tends to milk the most used top tier tanks, aka Leopard, T 80, Su 27 and F 15. They now they're the most used tanks in top tier, so they to make people willing to play, they just make different versions of tanks. Not only that, but they're premium too, because Gaijin profits a lot from people who are starting to play WT and aren't bothered reaching the top tier through grinding, so they buy a premium. However, grinding has gone extrekely slow now-a-days, so it honestly a better thing to buy a premium to get a feel to top tier.

I understand the frustration of many players, but then again, most players are playing only one or two Nations to higher BRs, so for many of them it is nice to be able driving a Leopard or T80 without grinding a full TT (which, if you have a life, requires years as we all know). Also those might be copy and paste, but are a great way to bolster some lineups. And since the Leopard 2, and some T-Tanks are large export successes it is kind of natural that they appear in many nations TTs. Similar like the Sherman or Centurion in previous generations. So I do not see it too critical. If you play many nations to top tier it can be pain to play the same tanks over and over agian. But I would always argue this is the minority of the playerbase.

People who still defend gaijin on this are insane. They may not be top tier (As in rank 8). But in terms of capability and stats , it literally is a top tier vehicle. They just moved it down a rank.
Especially true for naval.
They moved the goalpost on that a while ago, it used to be "not top rank" and now it's "not top BR" AKA up to rank 8 11.3 for ground vehicles.
I honestly don't even care so much that there's premiums at that BR, I just don't want people to be able to buy and use them when they've got no experience anywhere near that BR, but they're not going to fix that.

@DawgIVLife the Vickers mk7 is a joint venture and is over 50% leopard, the challenger 2E uses a leopard engine, the challenger 3td is a joint venture and uses a german gun. Like the original commentor mentioned, the t90 is in the brit tree because of its status as a former commonwealth nation, same with canada (Britain has the Skink and Adats M113.) Germany also has the swiss hunter, a british plane yet their version is better in every way.
Once again it’s a leopard. It’s kinda funny because it’s not even been officially announced it was on the last leak list for the last update, maybe gaijin will add it to the UK tech tree but I 100% bet it would make more money as a German premium.
@DawgIVLife agreed, it would 100% make more money for the German tree. Yes, it is a leopard, but the bishma is a t90 and the gripen is south african and the adats is american, sold to the canadians. The fact canada is a commonwealth nation somewhat qualifies it to be in the british tree (if Gaijin decides to keep to the same trend.)

10:55 the reason you can't find anything on it is because A-1A (sometimes refered as just A-1) is the Brazilian Air Force designation for the original AMX International that was used by Brazil (pretty much the same thing as the tt one in Italy but with a 30mm cannon), A-1M (sometimes also called A-1AM) is a modernized version that has acess to more modern weapons and has better avionics, would be pretty cool to see that version after the normal AMX in the Italian tech tree

@@SHEEPS_123 The whole situation is a meme and I am going to meme about it. Its for a vehicle that is not even announced yet officially. We are just having history repeat it self because this same situation happened in 2020 with the Canadian Leopard C2A1 Mexas. Gaijin said then its a leopard so it will go into the German tech tree. So if that stance is still staying its a leopard = Germany.

I’m not mad about a subtree. I am mad that the Benelux is added the way it is. Don’t ask me, but the leak list of vehicles is true. Leo 2A4, 5 and 6, and a cockerill one are the ones coming. Only the Fokker and cockerill are not copy pasted. Of all the other vehicles, none of them fill a gap that French designs could have filled if devs actually spent time developing them.
I am not mad for getting a subtree. I am mad that they way it’s added is lazy and that it will make the devs not work on creating new, interesting and unique vehicles to add instead of giving Leo 2s to every nations
Edit : the mirage 5F is also a good addition. F16s are okay I guess, but I don’t really like so many tt having US aircraft’s when said TT already have excellent counterparts.
Also I can confirm the VEXTRA 105 will be the stabilized version (and trust me or not the devs were not sure of that until very recently, when they already almost finished developing it lol)
And our French Line need IFV not that premium ifv , sad but im okay with this DevBlog. But could be better like u said let`s fill the gap first!! the jump between 9.7 to 11.7 its ridiculous!!

It's medium range fox-3 , they don't go active until ~20km , so you need to maintain soft lock for quite sometime

Really? They put no effort at all into modelling any Hungarian vehicles for their subtree, and now they just forgot about their incomplete subtree and are moving on to the next BeNeLux subtree? Wtf?

Oh, I don't know. Perhaps to actually bring some form of consistency to vehicles modified and/or operated by commonwealth territories going to the British tree. Y'know, the main seat and cause of the commonwealth. Just like the Australian operated Abrams, putting it outside of the UK tree would be (in the case of the abrams: was) incredibly stupid, and incredibly inconvenient to those of us who actually want to play shit our nation operates. Modifications were done by Canada, from what I have been told by Canadian peers who main Germany, but say it should end up in the UK tree. This would be inline with the placement of the vast majority of commonwealth vehicles. But it is Gaijin.
They likely won't add it to Britain, because the UK never gets anything nice that could even vaguely help with issues present in the tree. But really, it should go to the UK, just as the Aussie abrams should have gone to the UK. Pretty shit to spread commonwealth crap out, but it'll either make more money, or it is just spite at this point. Who knows.
Also a questionable take on the french sub tree rubbish. France is one of the largest arms exporters, and has developed enough equipment to rival Russia if it were all implemented. They don't need a sub tree, just to have actual indigenous designs put in the game. All this sub tree will do is cause the same issues that happened with Britain where stuff that could easily have been added (particularly light tanks, as Britain is in a similar state to France on that front), where Gaijin added a bunch of stuff then said it was all good and covered gaps without actually covering any gaps. If French designs were added, they wouldn't need this shit for "competitive line ups". They'd have them. Gaijin just refuse to do it.
You are comparing real life to a video game where the main goal from gaijin is to make money. What makes more sense add more vehicles for France where they already have the well known vehicles from that tech tree, or introduce a sub tree that will entice more people from Benelux area or interested in those vehicles to play the game.
Try to name 1 vehicle from France that is currently not in the game where it would make people be like wow I want to grind that tech tree for that.
French naval was a failure, Top tier is stagnate with Leclercs. The only thing that can maybe even improve France is Sub Trees.
@@DawgIVLife EBRC Jaguar. This is the topic of several discussions and several individuals have said they'd play France for this thing.
Gotchas only really work when people aren't intimately familiar with the topic. France has any number of entirely competent native designs that are incredibly interesting and whilst not necessarily widely known, would draw people to the tree upon seeing its efficacy or becoming familiar with the vehicles. Or they'd keep playing Russia and America, the same way they would if Benelux gets added. I'd be entirely happy to wager you'd get more people playing France from introducing interesting native designs instead of copy paste shit. Especially when native designs could entirely account for the gaps in capability that are partially to blame for low uptake when it comes to people playing the nation.
I would also note, your argument against the Canadian leopard ending up in the British tree should have you on our side regarding not wanting leopards in the French tree when there are any number of native designs that could work better. After all, "It is a leopard" and that means Leopards that will end up in the French tree with this addition should actually be German.
@@JohnSmith-tg5li I would kill for another tech tree EBR variant that isnt just the 1951 version and the AMX 13 DCA without the radar which would essentially be similar to the Falcon. Also the AML-90 (SS.11) would be pretty cool too, VBL Milan or VAB Milan (i absolutely love VAB's and i think they should add more VAB variants) would be funny, maybe not very good but it would be a nice ratty vehicle like the weasel. Maybe a VAB Mk3 with the 90mm Cockerill turret, another VAB is would really really really want and would actually be very good is the VAB SANTAL with the 20mm guns, would be SUCH AN UPGRADE over the regular SANTAL which only has like Mistral's with no guns

The C2A1 MEXAS is already in the german tree, it makes no sense for the 2A4M to go to britain

@@valkyrie5972 UK and US trees BOTH had Canadian vehicles before Germany ever got the MEXAS, so why not? Sure its not a natively designed vehicle, but are you telling me the Canadian run ADATS (US made AA vehicle) being in the UK line isn't enough justification to give Canadian vehicles one singular home? At it doesn't have to be the UK, but they shouldn't be spreading them out between 3 different nations.
@@DTC-ex7wg The MEXAS was the predecessor to the 2A4M, Gaijin has already set the standard for Canadian Leopards to be in the German tree. Plus, for the last 2 leak lists, this has been listed as a PREMIUM. Britain already has an 11.3 premium, Germany doesn't.
@@valkyrie5972 I've been here (in WT) long enough to know Gaijin won't change their ways now, nor will they tell us the Actual reasons/justifications for putting a certain tank in a certain tree. I know its most likely going to Germany, I just want them to be consistent and for Canadian vehicles to all be in one spot.
2a4m can was assembled in the netherland we bought it from them just like we bought our 1a3 and 1a5 turret for them

so there is as much argument for it in german tree than for the strv 122b being in the german tree if not less

Yea its a bit odd they did all that effort to remodel carriers and then not really use them .
@@DawgIVLife What's more is that they actually reduced their usage since the remodel. You used to be able to take off from them on a couple of maps set near the islands in the Pacific, and you also had dedicated maps like Wake Island, Midway, and Norway, but now those maps basically never show up in the servers.
The second Churchill AVRE mentioned was called the Ardeer Aggie.

8:43 The gun on the Warrior is good, but people play it like an autocannon IFV... it's not. Use it like a bolt action sniper rifle with those amazing thermal sights and you'll give some great results. This is kind of a recurring pattern with British vehicles in War Thunder I think, they're usually pretty strong but have a dramatically different playstyle that people coming from America/Soviets/Germany find really alien.
Desert Warrior is cool but I would've preferred the Warrior CSP prototype, which had new applique armour and the 40mm CTA cannon that's going on the Ajax and EBRC Jaguar.
I can't wait for all these cool editions to the French tech tree. It is already one of my favourites and this will hopefully make it even more viable.

both aircraft can carry a max of 4 amraam with no additional missiles or carry 2 amraam and 2 heat seekers
and they are sitting at a br where if they go up they are ass, go down and they stomp and it is just gotta stay within this territory, but it should be a major threat to f15a's in a downtier

I saw these leaks on Reddit and refuse to believe this is a real leak list. This would single-handedly take the cake for worst update. This update would lack originality and uniqueness. Getting slightly different variants or just lend lease vehicles for a major update is insane, and I don’t know if gaijin would be stupid enough to do that

The Bhishma is a T-90 made by Russia in the British tech tree, so i see why the British mains would think their getting the Leopard 2A4M

So, ill start with this, I agree that the 2A4M should be in Germany, its a German tank, not a British tank. And adding "Commonwealth" vehicles is a terrible idea for a lot of reasons, but one of the main ones is that it completely fucks over the match maker and is a complete middle finger to people who played other nations to get certain vehicles. I'm game for adding really modded ones (ex. M41s, M48s, Centurions, Leopards, etc), or staple point ones (ex. Firefly, Centurions, Leopards, etc), and lastly, ones that are needed (CAD ADATS).
But doing "Commonwealth" or unneeded sub TTs are just bad ideas, for starters they are made of with a lot of copy paste (Even enemy vehicles), ruin the MM (Because we all love playing our M4s v M4s, or T34s v T34s, Leopards, v Leopards, etc), and straight up steal other nations "Main Stays". Like T90 in Britain, like really? "Oh what's that? You main-ed the USSR to get the T90 after spending literal years of playing? Well fuck you buddy, one of your main enemy nations have it now too, and its free as well." This can also be replaced with the Leopards, Abrams, and more. Better yet, if you truly want to do Commonwealth, then you could also add literally every 8.3 tank and higher into the UK (With a shit load of low tiers too). Sure they don't need it all, but they can ask for any of it. (And all of this applies to air as well)
Now saying all of that, and you, the CZcamsr guy, agreeing that the 2A4M should stay in Germany, how in the living fuck can you just turn around and say its okay for France to have it? Like its literally the same argument! This isn't meant to be an attack on you, and is more just being a bit of an ass, but like come on...
(Forgot to add, I'm aware of the Hunter, and others, but I cannot change that where they are. But do agree they should go back to their OG nations, unless it has been changed enough to warrant it being in another nation, then its understandable.)
Because I don’t play the game for immersion. I could care less what I am shooting at. It’s lover all a positive if a nation gets a sub tree that increases lineup potential. Specially for minor nations that only have 1-2 vehicles per BR.

Strv 102R does not have blazer ERA. Strv 102R is just an Strv 102 with updated FCS like laser range finder, better turret drive, improved stabilization, and night fighting equipment.
U-SH 204 GK is a version of the Landsverk Unimog (U-SH) equipped with an Oerlikon 20 mm (204 GK) in a turret. Should be similar to the R3 T20 and will likely be added to the SPAA line
Like so many others, I started to play Fallout 4 again. This time, I killed the synth in Arcadia... And it didn't feel good.

I suppose Benelux without Ne would be welcome to france, but espeically today the Netherlands just works FAR closer together with Germany. They even have combined Groups.

I don't know what weapons the Indian MiG will have so no clue on the BR, but:
-If its less than 11.3 it could fit between the Lightning F.6 (9.3) and the Tornado ADV (11.3) in the blank slot at Rank VII.
-If its higher than 11.3 they could move the Tornado ADV (11.3) into rank VII, and have the MiG slot in after the ADV for Rank VIII
Imagine what the Su27SM will have as weaponry they threw it onto that Indian mig 21

If you are talking about the orange leopard 2a6 its a market skin, Market skins aren't "Official" its why if you go look at for example the leopard 2a4 in the German tech tree it has a Hungarian market skin even though the Hungarian leopard is in the Italian tree
the Leopard could go in the UK tec tree mainly because there are other Canadians tanks like the skink and the Ram i believe in the UK tec tree, so it makes sense
RAM II is in the US TT, and this one Canadian Leopard is already in the german one. Canada is split thoughout three TTs.

I have a hunch gaijin will make the F-4F ICE a premium. It would make sense seeing it as a rank 8 premium if you compare it to the F-20 which is amraam capable.
Although this isn’t exactly a solution to copy n paste vehicles in all the nations. I feel that war Thunder needs to have more (1 nation v 1 nation) battles in matches. At least you know what vehicles 1 specific country has and what to expect
The best thing is that F16C would be stronger in GRB CAS. Despite not getting new air-to-surface weaponary, AMRAAM which can be equipped in wing pylon makes f16c a threat. I mean it can carry AGM65, GBU series, AIM9M aaannnddd AMRAAM. SU25SM3 has to be careful of the long shot from F16c

Honestly the Belgo netheirlands tech tree is just like the new ones, a mix (here of usa and germany). At this point the swiss line for France can be a lot more interesting... Or you just stop to uptier the french vehicules to let it competitive and add the planes you don't add for no reason

Canadian Leo 2 belongs in the UK tree. We already have the Canadian ADATS and lets be honest, Gaijoob doesn't want to fix the Chally 2, so we could actually have a good MBT that can bolster the 11+ lineup

One way of doing this would be to add entire subnations such as canada to different tech trees like the UK. Somewhat like what happened when hungary was added to (i think) the itallian tree

Canadian (and also Australians) get pissed when their stuff isn’t added to the British tech tree because it’s otherwise basically useless to them, unless they want to grind a whole other tech tree. If I want to play every Australian vehicle, I have to grind through Britain AND the US, and Canadians have it worse as their stuff is split between three different trees (Britain, US, Germany). I don’t care too much about stuff being in the British tree, it’s just that’s where most of it already is, so I want new stuff to be put there too. If we put the sentinel, Matilda, Sherman, M1A2, Centurion, Leopard 1, and probably a few more Im missing, that’d be fine, but Gaijin doesn’t make money and not enough people would be interested in an Australian tech tree. The exact same applies to the Ram, Sherman, skink, Leopard C2, etc for Canadians.
We aren’t British mains because we like British tanks, this is just the only way I can play my countries’ vehicles (Australian and Canadian dude). I’d be an Australian main if I could.

The new leo is great, but the comment about it maybe being a squadron vehicle at 11.3... when the 2 PL already exists as a 11.3 squad vehicle. Would suck if it became premium, one its a gateway to the topteir, and two... its a Leopard... so uhh... oh noes
You already have majority of the nations in War Thunder with a 11.3 premium would make sense for them to get one as well.
