My name is Jess! I had a daughter (Lilia) at age 18 w/ my high school sweetheart. We mutually split up & co-parent to this day. I met someone new, got married, had twin boys (Kyson & Kaden) and another son (Landen). He cheated, we split ways, & he’s not around much. After juggling life as a single mom of 4 for some time, I met Chris, he had 2 sons: Caden and Tommy, who eventually became my step sons. After Chris and I got married, we had our 7th child together, Addelyn. At 23 I am still obsessed with the sims I play it to destress. The only thing I would mention is if she is on the gallery she might see some mention to CC and mods and there are a lot of not so child friendly mods out there but the CC is amazing
The mods I’ve used gave my computer a virus so I have a fear of using those but I’m 24 and still obsessed with sims. But yeah CCs are worth it and they are so cool for the most part
@@meganeverson97 as long as the mods come from a specific website cannot remember for the life of what it is. Or patreon they should be good there are definitely some well worth mods out there. My CC collection is way to big I need a cull

I don't remember who said this or where I read it but the phrase "raise you kids to be the person you want to be friends with" is just absolutely right and fits perfectly your dynamic with Lilia! 🥰 💕 like you're gonna love your kids no matter what but to like them is different and your daughter is a very likeable girl
I love Jess and Lilia jamming to Encanto. It has taken over everyone I knows life rn lol. We constantly just start singing it in my orchestra class. I was even jamming while watching the video and sewing a patch on my jacket (love that Lilia does the hand thing during Isabella's part, bc I'm the only one who does it in my orchestra class lol. That's also a really good theory about who's lying!) I also love that people made you in the Sims, that's so cool! Loved the vlog! (Edit: love that yall built Casita from Encanto, would love to see that!)

So funny story, this spring there were restrictions on watering at my mom's house (Maui, Hawaii) And I went home to visit + house sit for her. I knew there was a $500 fine for like each time watering or whatever,, but I decided I'd just pay the fine & water her MASSIVE yard as a nice surprise when she returned. (She was going to Rome for a month so I figured I'd have plenty of time to get the yard in shape.) Well no one tells you it's the HOMEOWNER who gets the bill. Oops!

i cried watching you and lilia at the end. my mom and i used to do that exact same thing and were each other's best friends like you guys are and since she passed away in march of 2019 ive loved watching you two❤️ it's an amazing thing when a mother and daughter are so close like that❤️
All 4 of our kiddos had braces around 9-10 years old. One was for cosmetic. Highly recommend getting it done young/early!

You are right about kids dentists. When my kids were little someone recommended one to us. When I took my kids 7 and 4 at the time, they said the 7 year old had a cavity. They wouldn't let me come back with him and he was screaming crying, which is so unlike him. They apparently used some clamp to hold his mouth open and it was hurting. I kept demanding to see him and they wouldn't let me. Needless to say that was the last time we went there. Luckily we found a wonderful one and my kids now 21 and 18 haven't had a cavity since. 🤔🤦🏻♀️

@@sopjoplop23 At first I was trying to be cooperative, like ok their policy, even though I didn't like it. It was my first experience with kids going to the dentist, then when he started screaming I lost it. I almost called the police.
I work at the DMV here, the vehicle registration part. And so many people come in and say that it’s one of the better ones they have gone to time wise. Typically the wait is about maybe 20 minutes. Some days, if we are actually busy, the longest it’s been is and hour. Drivers license is a smidge different if it’s a new one and you have never had one before.

I was 20 when I got braces and got them off at 22. Couldn’t get them earlier in life. But I wasn’t in as much pain as other experience. It’s so worth it.

I had to pause the video to tell you that I don’t know about the state of California but I live in Florida and have lived in 3 different houses since I was 17, I got my ID when I was 17, had my address on it, moved to a different location, had to put a different address on it and then my fiancé and I moved in together and I had to put my new address on it and didn’t go to the DMV at all. I actually just went online and did it and my picture on my ID is from when I was 17 and I’ll be 28 this year lol. So you can probably do yours online if your just putting new info on it (like an address) just a thought. Now onto more jesssfam video. 😊

I started my “ortho” journey when I was 11, and still have braces on, I’ve had 5 surgeries, 8 teeth pulled, some of which haven’t and won’t come back, chains (for a tooth situation super similar to Kysons) so if he ever gets nervous or needs a bunch of work just remind him it’ll be okay haha 😂
idk when I started my journey but all but two of my teeth had to get pulled, I had to get two top teeth extracted, braces on for 5 years and have to get them back on. this journey is not fun.

My daughter is special needs, she is 13 but her mind is like a 3-4 year old. She loves that movie so much. Her friends were here yesterday they are 8 and 5-6 years old. They kept rewinding and watching that song! I showed them the song on CZcams. My daughter had played that song so much that I find myself singing it lol. She says “mommy I got it stuck in your head, lol” so funny!
Yes get a offical birth certificate... as an adult that moved to a different state then my birth state it was required and took months if you had to get it mailed to you.... so yesss! Thankfully my parents had mine!

Omgsh I love the Sims I started as a kid playing Roller Coaster tycoon which led me to the Sims 1 at 10 and I've been a fan ever since lol! I never got into any other games either but love my sims. I'm 31 with 3 kids and still play the Sims 4 in my free time haha I love building and creating. So cool to see Lilia found the sims and how much you love the Sims it's a great game 🥰

Wauw! The system in America is so different from that in the Netherlands. Here you just have a 15 min application appointment at your township office. And then you get another appointment for pickup. So with your drivers license, YES you gotta wait but like, it doesn’t cost you much time off at all.. 🤨 also with the birth certificate. 15 min application appointment and a pickup appointment that’s it 🤯. Waiting maybe a maximum of two weeks until your able to pick up the documents. 😅

Happy New Year Jess and your beautiful family . We live in a small town so we never have to wait to long at the dmv . However with the way the world is these days when my oldest daughter got her drivers license in August even though she was 18 ( thanks to Covid for not being able to get a license sooner ) we had to drive an hour and a half just to take the test

Okay but Addi is so so good at gymnastics! Im also glad your careful with dentist’s. Its basically impossible to find a dentist close to you, thats good & isnt SUPER EXPENSIVE. So you kinda got to try your best.

I just hope my debt does not move away. You trust these people and when and if they leave. It's a long time before you trust all over again..It's like hair dressers. They have Invisalign for kids now so if you’re looking at it for only cosmetic purposes it might be something worth asking about. As you know, Invisalign is much friendlier than wire brackets.
