You and your wife can recover a vehicle in the dark on a cliff but some couples can't even back up a trailer together without risking divorce.
Im sorry to hear about your divorce
LOL, seriously. They work together well.
Lmao.
So true we have seen the yelling at the docks and I sit there lmao.
@@eatshitcommies 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️
That was hands down the most awesome and flattering thing I've seen in awhile. Great job guys, except that Rory guy looks kind of suspect...
Better to look suspect than be suspect
Better to look suspect than be suspect
He has seen the handwriting on the wall and is getting on the Rory bandwagon as an early adopter.😉trail mater now Rory one of the Oylmpic events needs to be reversing up obstacles and or welding in nuts and bolts to make trail side repairs.👍
I dunno, there must have been bad light Rory, you didn't look near as handsome on this job. Almost as if you were having a really bad hair day.
I loved the impression! Laughed heartily
Matt is so kind, "Sorry to bring you on the most boring recovery job." The Australian, " This is not boring, watching Rory work is great fun." I agree just being out there would be incredible.
More to do with the company than the job
wait till you hear us when us aussies are not pg rated.....🤣
4:54 Kudos for the extra effort made to remove most of the busted bearing parts
Amazing to get Rory's guest appearance like that! 😂 I think he learned his lesson about coming out to help after that lake job
Rory is the GOAT, just look at his latest video, nuts.
Anyway..... Yeah! 🙂
@@415s30 all those winch lines make me wonder if he is actually Spider-Man 🤔
That was a great day on the trail for us! It's awesome to see the CZcams version of what we got to experience in real life as fans! Thanks for taking along! (literally 😉)
Hi Neil!
@@scottsoper Hey Scott!!
I watched your video Neil. That was a great look at another perspective of the MORR team. You did a fantastic job of capturing your experience. It is like bonus footage of behind the scenes on this video.
@@JeepLifeChris Thanks so much 👍🏻
@@digdrivediy and I subscribed to your channel too. Getting caught up 😊
You just never know when Rory is going to show up. The great thing is that he is always ready to help out. And we know that Matt and his crew are always ready to lend a Jeep if Rory needs a hand as well. Good friends doing good things for good people while having a good time. Sounds good to me.🤠😺😁
It's all good!
Matt, forget what anyone says about you and your animals, except for us who know you care deeply about the care of your animals. Shoot, both Max and Lady are rescues. I love seeing the puppies out on the rescues, more the rescues themselves. I’ve had a couple of labs and border collies, so I’m excited every time they’re shown.
i think its super important that you are so good about showing the clean ups, even when its just a few small broken parts. thanks for setting a good example matt!! everyone should be taking note
i agree... they should carry one of those big magnets for quick clean... hahaha
They haven't shown it in a while, but that's what I was thinking. Too many people view the wilderness as their personal dumping ground. But there's no cleanup service out there. If you don't clean up after yourself it's out there forever, slowly turning the wilderness into a land fill.
I'm all for self governed, but some folks need to be told what to do. All the time. Everytime.
Don't litter
Throw out your trash
Shower
Put up the shopping cart
@@alexislaisney3749 Did they also pickup the needle bearings?
@@torvador9384 that comment got me thinking? I don't have a magnet in my jeep gear. Current looking for a junk microwave (best strong magnets)
Throwing the wheel under the frame to catch the vehicle if it falls -- great idea. I always do this when I don't have a jack stand for safety (and sometimes when I do, because this is easier). Take note, anyone reading this, and take this one little step that could save life or limb.
Yep,learned that in auto mechanics school. I know some ppl that died when their vehicle fell on them while changing the oil.
@@akalksander9184 People take wheels off their cars to do an oil change?
@@CaptainKevin no. They do an oil change without jack stands or blocks. Just the jack holding the car up so their body fits under.
Just a friendly reminder that we’re all eagerly awaiting the debut of the off road wrecker! 🎉
The cliffs of insanity?!?! That's inconceivable!!!
Having done these same ball joints in my garage a few months ago and cussing up a storm: props to you for your trail repair, sir!
I was thinking the same thing. Not a project I want to do in a garage and the made it look easy in the field.
Ball joints are bad enough when they are not already broken. And far away from civilization. And in the dark. And after a long day. And without a flat floor to lie on....
You flew out an Aussie? Dang Matt, that's generosity!
That's literally half the way around the world honestly lol
@@paulrivers7248 I know, I live there and believe me flights to the US are NOT cheap!
When Matt started to actually repair the Jeep, my thought was "Wow, it's Rory who usually does the repairs in the desert". Moments later, There is Rory! Well, sort of. Excellent impersonation, Matt!!
You have a great partner (Jamie) always ready to step up.
Matt imitating Rory was really cool. Great recovery of that Jeep.
Rory has a great sense of humor. He'll love this 👏
Why whatever do you mean? He was right there loving it in person. He was probably loving it backwards up a hard obstacle too.
@@Milamberinx he's got mad skills in any direction 😉
I laughed so hard at this whole video this morning.
I am face blind, and you got me all confused there for a while, trying to figure out why Rory wasn't quite the same! 🤣
Matt's version of Rory was hilarious.
Cliffs of Insanity?!?!???!? INCONCEIVABLE!!!!!!!!!!
I think you brought less people to the golden nugget recovery :D
I love seeing Jaymie going along so much lately.
Where else do you find a towing company that will drive three hours to get your car off a cliff, fix it, and then give you a t-shirt?
Great videos. Very nice people. And… two lucky dogs.
Can we just take a moment to admire that beautiful red jeep- broken or not!!!...nice rig!
I concur!
What a crew, temporarely fixing it on the spot and driving it out. great job MORR crew
Haha! When you pretended to be Rory, I thought that story was just for effect. Then there is a video of his tow truck reversing up the trail....amazing!
It was great to see a team member picking up vehicle debris from the desert floor and making sure it was hauled out. MORR rocks!
*Lizzy's Burrito was never seen again*. Couldn't have asked for a better day out! Thanks for the memories guys! -Ty
Well thanks for reminding me now I want a burrito
if only someone would build a worlds biggest wrecker for jobs like this
Heavy D sparks
That's going to make these recoveries less exciting..I miss the days when Matt would get to about 40 MPH before the slack in the rope started tightening. He was jerking stuff out that weighted 4 times as much.
@@Bryan-Hensley Watch Wednesday's video, he's still doing that
@@Bryan-Hensley that is true when you think about it
Looks like possibly carrying a magnet might be something for the tool box it sure would have helped picking up all of those roller bearings! Props to all of you for always cleaning up the areas of your recovery! Something I’ve noticed over the years of watching. Not many people consider doing that as part of the process
You are the G.O.A.T. 2 ball joints in,with an OTC press that fits nothing, on the trail. You made Rory proud.
The all in fun rivalry you and Rory have going is hilarious. What a great assembled crew to do this recovery which makes your channel all the more awesome. Taking the time to clean up the mess tells how much you all care for our environment. This video scores a BIG WIN!
I can't believe you guys do all these recoveries without using radios. Such great team work!
Yeah my work site made us use radios I hated them for the first week then I bought my own headset and now I can't live without them.
What I have been wondering about for a long time too
Rory uses radios! 😆😄😆😄🤣🤣🤣
We use cheap handy talkies even on mild trail runs. keep a few in each vehicle.
What a about a good GPS! When your out of range for cell service
I love how you always make sure the dogs have fresh water.
WOW, repairs on and off the road. What can't you guys do. You're all amazing.
Happy Friday Everyone!
Merry Friday Boogie
YAY!!! BOOGEY did it again!!! 1st!!!
Nice
"That's just parts falling out...."
I rofl'd..... hahaha!
Good thing Rory came along that way nobody ran out of gas!
dear matt offroad recovery team!! Thank you for bringing us extremely interesting content in this year 2022! WE, here in the south of Brazil, love your offroad recovery content, because we have a 6cc offroad jeep willys and we love camping and traveling on the most difficult roads! thank you lyzzy and jamie for your kindness and sweetness in talking about the weather and and for your strength and bravery in soldering everything together perfectly. you rock it girl!! mat and family, may you have a blessed year 2023! best regards guys!!
Thank you for keeping the show clean without being prudish! It is so refreshing to turn on your show without worrying about what you're gonna hear.
Man, if only someone would build a large offroad wrecker..!!!
Jaime is basically full time recovery personnel now
Never really quite realized how valuable trailmater is until I've seen a job like this without it. Good job guys
Good thing Rory showed up!
My wife and I and four friends all had jeeps and we all carried spare parts from belt the hoses to duct tape when we four wheeling down there .Big fan of all you off road recovery guys .( An old fourwheeling guy )
Rory is a class act. You come a lil close Matt with remote repairs. 😂 You are all amazing and fun to watch. ❤
A few of those Rory impressions were spot on Matt. A little scary, like Robby in your "He got what he deserved" video, but you guys are all friends so what goes around comes around.
Kudos for admitting the ball joints were only temporary. Even if they were installed the same way as the last guy...
This recovery was really very interesting, and I am sure the everyone enjoyed watching you at work trouble shooting this one. The main thing is you got 'em out, but no easy peasy this time. Great video coverage too.
Must have been an interesting new experience for Matt: actually having tools along to do a trail repair.
Aussie Aussie Aussie! Another great day out and about. Love watching you guys work from all the way over in Australia myself.
Matt - this isn't boring. It is fascinating to see what is inside my car parts. How does it all fit together, oddly satisfying to watch you work on this contraption.
David seems like a happy guy. Probably a pretty cool experience to go across the world and finally see these places in person!
Always impressed by how to clean up a site as best as you can as part of the recovery... THANK YOU! Not Rory... he would have fixed in the pitch black of the night with his welder ad scrap pieces he finds on site 🤣😂 Looks like it was a GREAT Party.... Congrats to the extra crew 🙌👏🙌🙏
I thought the Jeep was toast when you first showed it half off the cliff, but Matt's team with virtual Trail Mater did a fantastic job of doing just enough repair to make it drivable and executed a successful recovery! Well done everyone!
I have been hesitant to do this job in my driveway and you do it out on the trail!
Your Rory impression was excellent the one thing missing was shiny white sneakers 😂😂😂😂
You guys are amazing keep it up
So I would be hard pressed to replace ball joints in my driveway and you guys do it on a trail. I would consider that a victory just for trying! The fact that you drove it out under its own power is remarkable! Hats off to the ultimate shade tree mechanics!
That red, 4-door Jeep looked so pristine and expensive.
Definitely NOT the most boring recovery job.......this is real, and enjoyable to watch. Thanks, Matt & crew!
It probably sounds crazy, but you guys should make some sort of four wheel drive tow truck for getting broken vehicles out of the desert.
That would be awesome. But I’d skip making it four wheel drive. Feels unnecessary. Maybe just install advanced computer controlled all wheel drive system that can’t be disabled
@@chris.dellafave You could be right. I don't know nothing about cars.
Now, that's just crazy talk. It would be absolutely impossible to make a monster, quad-steer,
7 winch wrecker with 54 inch tires. At least Matt has the good sense not to try something as insane as that.
And after all said and done they could hold a tow truck olympics, only to find out their shortcomings😂 and why Rory and trail mater are at the top of the heap.☝
@@lanceleavitt7472 I agree, Matt is far too sensible to bend reality in such a far-fetched fashion.
Rory, I think your safe in your trail repairs 😉
Jamie, good job in the dark 🫣
Good job everyone 👍👍
I don't off road at all, but still learn tips for future reference.
Thanks MORR!
The biggest crew for the "most boring recovery job". And still I think everyone had a blast to hang out with the whole MORR crew and maybe learned a thing or two about trail repairs. And trail dogs. And Rory Irish impersonating the Jeep Guy... 😂😁😇
The terrain in this video looks like they are driving on the moon! Loved it!
Even on a rescue you show us how to make repairs and get it going enough to get out of where you are. Great video keep up the good work!!
What you needed was the worlds biggest wrecker for this job...Love your show...!!!!
The Rory imitations were awesome, and definitely shows the respect you have for each other. Love it
I pray the Utah Off Road Community bands together to fix Bens Jeep. Rest In Pieces Bens Jeep 😢
Thanks Tucker for an awesome editing job.
Thanks Matt and crew for all you do and sharing your adventures. Hugs from Belgium.
This was a nice way to include some of your subscribers. Thanks for bringing us along.
If you fill your front tires with water, you will crawl over obstacles with ease, but the additional weight will destroy your transmission and drive train. It's how we test bouncers. Even half full of water, crawl is easy and weak links stick out like sore 👍
Matt and Jamie make a good team on these recoverys. Keep up the good work!
When you're sitting at your campsite at Quail Creek Reservoir (10/14/22, 1730 hours) watching this video and see the Morrvair and the Banana drive by 🤩 So cool! Love you guys. We're here for the Huntsman's games in St George, but made time for a tour of your shop. You guys are great!!
Once more Matt and Jamie recovery, and they brought along half of Utah. No just a sizable group of civilians... Great recovery
Matt, we all love you BUT you're always off your game. That's the best bit!
great recovery guys, great job Jamie for navigating at night and not getting lost or hurt. well done everybody
One of the Best Recoveries you have posted ! Nice to bring along guest ! So much fun for them ! Thanks for sharing !
I really appreciate that yall clean up the broken bits/trash that comes out of vehicles when they crash/break. I hate seeing trash on the ground, but especially in parks. Thanks for going the extra mile!
If I might make a suggestion, get one (or more) of those magnets on an extendable rod to assist you in picking up small metal pieces and parts like at 4:48. Jaime is amazing. So many men, myself included, could not perform at her level. And Lizzy, cute as a button, out performs most men. Plus, I also love the third lady on your team, Peanut. I wonder if their are ANY parts of ANY vehicle that Matt can't repair inventively with random pieces and parts. He is truly the Macgyver of vehicle repair. Can you tell I love you guys? Thanks for so many great videos.
Red patiently, picking up all the little tiny pieces was the highlight
No, the highlight was the hot 4 wheel drive lady
Wow! Nice job folks! On the side of the cliff at night. I would have left it for the morning. You folks did amazing work.
"... we're just going to take it easy through this next part..." *rock-crawling footage resumes*
To Rory: “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”!
Ok, it's official, Matt's channel is one of the top 5 on CZcams! Great content from fantastic people equals massive fan base!
Jamie's a gem.
Nice!
Congrats to all those that got to ride along and be part of the recovery.
Cliffs of insanity?
That's crazy!
Inconceivable you might say....
Matt it's awesome how you go above and beyond on a recovery. I love the crew you had this time to help out. Can't wait till the next video.
Another great job by "Trail Mater" Rory. He does amazing work, too Matt's offroad recovery can't step up to the level Rory is at. Great job Jamie, Lizzy, Heff..., umm not sure how to spell his name, peanut and the rest of the crew.
It's Jefe
Spanish for boss.
I too hate being out and about in the great outdoors and find trash and garbage that was left behind. Thanks for cleaning up.
as someone who does his own wrenching I found the trailside repair much more interesting than just dragging the rig out on a trailer
If Ed ever retires I want that Aussie guy to do the weather
Wow! That’s a bad drop! Glad you got it out though. Looks like y’all had fun too with all your guests and friends!
Jamie going on a night recovery wearing Birkenstocks! That's just straight-up badass.
Never would have got it out with out Rory's help.haha nice work to all
Thanks for your channel guys. Always entertaining without being offensive. Also... that is great service. Folks in your area are lucky to have you.
Jamie you are such a trooper!
Great Video! Had to Laugh at all the Rory Impersonations! Both you, Rory and Paul as well have such a great relationship! Fun banter back and forth! If I broke down I would be happy to see anyone of you show up.
OMH that was great recovery with a MAJOR team!!!
You
Matt you have a really great group of people!!!
Thanks for taking the time to share the adventure 👍👍.
