Good Evening Brent👍 you had me looking up the cost of Balers… Wow! ….Just Wow! You definitely have quite a bit to keep you busy! That’s so awesome having the room to build an addition like that! Thanks for the tour! Super 😎 Cool of your beautiful property! 👍👀👍
Good Evening Kev. Yep, these days their sure proud of their products, not so much the quality though💩. I'm looking forward to getting the addition on....I would like to put a 2 post hoist in, so I'm prepping concrete for it, just getting to old to climb around under stuff. Thanks Kev.
Love the heated shop. Love the sawmill. You have trees and a sawmill you have solutions to many of the farm projects we all face. You can spend a winter going through that 24T once the shop is done. Add a cheap bale basket to those old balers and you have a one person operation…I bet you could sell a lot of square bales. Retirement income.😊😊. Nice tour. Nice Pontiac.
I really miss having the sawmill going...Lord knows I'm going to be a one man operation here in the next couple years. I've been debating between a kicker or bale baskets. Thanks Dave.
Usually when the baler gets out of time it breaks the needles. I like the R model. I stacked behind a IH baler. Other than the light bales it worked good enough. I have radishes up. Assuming we get the rain i expect peas, and lettuce by the weekend. Thank you Brent.
This old IH baler skipped time once....bearing failed..it came to abrupt halt and broke the shear bolt, near hurt the needles...sur was glad the plunger stop dog was working....I've had 5 R Model Macks over the years, 1 DM Model, might say I like old Mack trucks. I'm sure your looking forward to some fresh stuff from the garden, I know I will be. Thanks for watching Bryce.
Good evening Brent . Nice 👍 more shop is always nice. Mine gets started end of may for my machinery and new calving barn attached. Gotta get through calving first.
The saying of bigger is better does have some truth when it comes to shops and storage....I would like some more room for the cows too 🤔...maybe in a year or two. Thanks for watching Chad.
Sounds like there are coming a lot of cool and interesting projects👍. Guess, that's enough work for a little bit, lol💪😁. The Pontiac would be nice to have in the summer time😎! Have a great day Brent!!
I remember driving a dump truck, years ago, that had a 318 Cat and no Jake. It was built as a city truck for Edmonton, so they didn't have hills there. It was pretty gutless for the mountains, but was great for short jobs, and good on fuel compared to the 550 twin turbo in the other truck.
Not that you knew i was here, but im back. Left halfway through... Seems we missed fixing a wire at the feed barn a couple days ago. Mom texed me, said a yearling was in the bottom.. lol.. 2 yr old, shes back in, fence is hot, now back to cold dinner...
Good evening Brent. You will not run out of projects. That 24T looks good. I've repaired a 14T knotter that looked about like the condition that one is in. I never found any timing issues on that one. I think it was just that the casting that holds the knotter shafts cracked and let many bad things happen. It's funny that you mention the moss growing on things. I don't know what is different here but moss grows on things way more than it does on the other side of the Lake. Overall there is more moisture and humidity there than I get here but for some reason moss sure grows.

I never run out of things to do...😁. Thanks for watching Al.
Plenty of projects... Lol
Moss grows everywhere here, makes it easier to get lost in the woods..
Thank you Brent! Have a great Monday!!
They'll never all get done in my lifetime .... maybe I'll get them all done in my 2nd life...LOL.
@@brenterickson1695 ya, I could use another 50 years, just for projects
@@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin Yep, I hear you on that.
Looks like you will be busy for a while. Lots of fun projects.
Yep,I should be able to keep busy for eternity, 😂.... Thanks Erik.
We’ve got a bunch of guard rail corral, slowly converting the rest to it as well. Really good stuff.
No animal goes through a guard rail....

I drove quite a few trucks without a Jake... went uphill faster than I went down...just like the old song, Slow ride.😄
I just woke up to another 2" of snow we got overnight. I'm not complaining; we need the moisture badly.
You just keep the snow there.😁
I have a few more things to add to the to do list!😅
I'm sure you do Dear.....🤪🙂.

Glad that worked out ....Cold dinner😮💨that sucks...Thanks Ed.
@@brenterickson1695 cold ground cow and steak fries... But Becky did good, it still taste good cold 😁
@@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin I don't mind cold burger... I've eaten more cold meals than hot over the years.

Good Evening Will. I think that 24T will be a real nice one when it's done, I know it does need new chain though. Thanks for checking in.
