- We can thank Giverthebeans 97 for this mod. He bent his steering on a recent trip to Ohio with CreepyCrawler. This was his idea, I am not sure if he has done this but I was replacing my steering anyway today.

It is a good one. I did this a long time ago and haven't had a problem. I have put the steering into some hard binds, too. Thanks again for watching!

How does the steering wheel come off? Im changing my steering wheel out for a quick release and need to know so i dont have to destroy the one thats on it
The thing about Wheel Horse steering wheels is,...They either come off nice or cut, swear, rip and tear. They have a roll pin, you can see the hole through the lower part of the wheel that connects to the steering shaft. If you can run the pin out with a punch and then get the wheel off,....great! Otherwise they are a MFer and you got to cut them off and push what's left of the pin out, then start from there. I wish I had better news for you.
What tie rods are you using

They started out as this, I cut them in half and put each end in a piece of sched. 40 black pipe and welded them
