    This got me thinking. If you used 1” round stock and turned down one end to 3/4 prior to bending, you could have 3/4 for going through the axle and and 1” for the wheel. That would allow you to use trailer hubs and tapered roller bearings. I’ve seen that done a few ways and in betting with your skill set you could build a jig for repeatable bending. Nice thing is wheel horse almost never changed things and they would fit 40years worth of tractors with 8” wheels. They would sell like hot cakes I bet.

    Great work but I liked your first design with the more graceful bend. I think that gives you a better/wider front stance. Also less stress on the piece should give a stronger spindle.

    Do you know if the 416-h and the 520-H front axles and cross beam interchange between tractors ??? How about the diameter of the axle spindles ?? Thanks
